"Why don’t you simply crawl back to where you ca from?" Sophia Dawn’s voice cut through the air like a knife as she stord into Serena’s cabin, her presence as brash as her words.

Serena glanced up from her work, irritation bubbling beneath her calm exterior. "Sophia. So, today it’s your turn to entertain ?" she replied, her tone laced with sarcasm.

"Do I look like I’m here to entertain you?" Sophia snapped back, eyes wide with indignation. "I’m here to question you! Who do you think you are, anyway?"

Serena t her gaze, a weary sigh escaping her lips. She took a mont to appraise Sophia, who was younger but carried herself with an air of superiority that grated on Serena’s nerves. Spoiled rotten by her overindulgent mother, Sophia had been raised to believe she was above everyone else. The heavy makeup plastered across her face only amplified that sense of entitlent, giving her a look that Serena could only describe as grotesque.

And yet, she could still rember the ti when little Sophia had not been so rotten. But she shook her head. That had been a really long ti ago. For now, she did not need to rember that Sophia but this new and unimproved version.

But before she could respond, Sophia burst out," "How dare you block my trust fund money?" she shouted, her voice trembling with indignation. "I need that money! My grandmother left it for , and you think you can just co in here and decide what I can and can’t have? Who do you think you are, you servant! I deserve that money! It’s mine by right! I don’t know what the old woman was thinking when she left you in charge! She’d probably gone senile!"

Finally, Serena, unable to listen anymore, banged her hand on the table and muttered, First of all, we need to stop harping on about being a servant. At the mont, I am almost your master, and you need to learn that. After all, you need that money. Secondly, I was specifically asked to manage everything. And the will clearly states that those funds are for your education and future endeavors—not for partying or getting high. If you want access to that money, you’re going to have to straighten up and show that you’re worthy of it."

Sophia’s face flushed with anger, her jaw tightening as she absorbed Serena’s words. "You have no right to dictate how I use my own money!" she spat, stepping closer, her hands clenched into fists, ready to lash out and hit this girl. She’d been used to hitting servants. The only reason her mother had always stopped her from hitting her was because of grandmother! But that old woman was dead now, so of course, she could ’pound’ so intelligence into her.

But before she could make a move, a firm hand gripped Sophia’s shoulder from behind, subduing her with surprising strength. "That’s enough, Miss Sophia Dawn. You need to leave and not create a scene if you know what’s good for you,"

Sophia stilled as she turned around to glare at the woman who dared to stop her," Get off ! Who do you think you are? I am talking to her! I am not done yet!"

"Yes, you are. But Miss Serena is busy and does not have ti for your childish outbursts. If you have sothing to say, you can get an appointnt. The earliest appointnt is for next week," Mahi replied coolly, her tone leaving no room for argunt.

Sophia opened her mouth to protest, her indignation bubbling over. "I don’t need an appointnt! I’m entitled to this money, and I’ll get what’s mine!"

Serena remained silent, watching the scene unfold, her patience stretching thin. It really was good to have a security person. Since Mahi was handling Sophia, Serena turned to the fine in front of her, tuning out the girl and her fuss.

Mahi expertly maneuvered Sophia toward the door, her grip firm but not painful. "You need to leave now, Sophia. I won’t ask again," she said, her voice steady and authoritative.

Sophia’s eyes flashed with defiance as she struggled against Mahi’s hold. "You can’t do this to ! I have every right to fight for what’s mine!" she yelled, throwing her ample weight into the attempt to break free.

"Your fight is with the will, not with us," Mahi replied, maintaining her composure. "Now, move."

As they reached the threshold, Sophia jerked away, spinning to face Serena one last ti. "You think you can take everything from ? My mother says you’re better off dead, just like your grandmother and father!" Her words sliced through the air, dripping with malice. "And she was right! I hope you die soon!"

Serena’s heart stopped for a mont, as she looked up, "What did you say?" she asked, her voice low and steady, the irritation gone, replaced by a chilling calm.

Sophia smirked, emboldened by the reaction. "You heard ! You’re nothing but a servant, and my mother says you’re a parasite, living off the kindness of others. You should’ve died with them! Your bloodline is tainted!"

While Mahi skillfully dragged Sophia outside, Serena was in shock. Suddenly, she had a thought. The wording of the ssage and Sophia’s words...there was so similarity...

As Mahi returned, having gotten rid of the unwelco intruder, she apologized," I am sorry for just now. I was not expecting this... though I should have."

’Its okay, Mahi! Listen, I need you to investigate deeper into Lydia’s background. See if there is so old connection... and also investigate..."

Mahi nodded hurriedly," Alright, I’ll look into this. But are you sure there could be a connection?"

Serena nodded," I’m not a hundred percent sure but I am quite sure, if this is the case, then many things might clear up. Also, Mahi, I am going to be going for a eting tonight, you need to drive ."

Mahi nodded and left the cabin while wondering what it was that Sidney had to share with her tonight.
