Seeing that Su Tiantian’s mood was off, Jiang Ruan chid in, "Yeah, did you two have a fight?"
Cared for by the two of them, Su Tiantian’s small face drooped, and she couldn’t help but pour her heart out to them.
Su Tiantian sighed, "No, we didn’t fight."
She felt aggrieved, "Jiang Ruan, Lu Jie, I have very complicated feelings for him right now."
"I feel like I’m no longer pure."
Jiang Ruan: "What do you an by that?"
Su Tiantian was troubled, "It’s a kind of feeling I can’t quite describe. He’s been asking out a lot lately, but I always say I’m busy. I’m avoiding him, I don’t want to see him."
Lu Jie was curious, "Why? Did he do sothing that upset you, or do you just not enjoy hanging out with him anymore?"
Lu Jie speculated.
"It’s none of that." Su Tiantian sighed, feeling quite lancholy, and even the hairy tripe on her plate lost its appeal.
She put down her chopsticks, "I think I might kind of like him, just like Jiang Ruan said last ti. Talking to him makes happy, and I want to see him every day."
"That’s a good thing," Jiang Ruan said, "You’re already twenty-four, isn’t it normal to like soone? Besides, Zou Ji also seems to like you."
Su Tiantian was stunned and asked in confusion, "Does he like ?"
"Of course."
"If he didn’t like you, why would he ask you out so often?"
"Silly, that’s what liking soone is."
Su Tiantian pouted, "But what if he only likes now, and soday he stops liking ?"
"Jiang Ruan, I’m scared."
Jiang Ruan chuckled with exasperation, "What’s there to be scared of? People live in the mont. If you like soone, you like them; if not, you break up and find soone else. Besides, how are you so sure that he’ll be the one to stop liking you, and not the other way around?"
"I think you’re right."
Su Tiantian nodded, "That’s exactly why I’ve been feeling down lately."
Jiang Ruan comforted, "Silly, my opinion is just that—my opinion. These things vary from person to person, especially when it cos to liking soone. You should follow your heart."
Su Tiantian blinked, "Follow my heart?"
"Exactly." Jiang Ruan looked at her, "Let ask you, do you think Zou Ji treats you well?"
Su Tiantian nodded, "Yes, he takes out to have fun, buys delicious food, and... and every ti I spill food on myself, he gently wipes it off with a napkin."
As she spoke, Su Tiantian blushed.
Lu Jie teased from the side, "Oh, oh, oh, it seems like Zou Ji is quite good at pursuing girls. I wonder..."
Not finishing her sentence, Jiang Ruan glanced at her.
It was a warning look.
"Don’t talk nonsense."
Jiang Ruan hadn’t ntioned Zou Ji and Su Tiantian’s situation to Lu Jie.
Zou Ji had only pursued one girl so far.
So Lu Jie didn’t know about this.
Seeing her comnt, Lu Jie promptly shut her mouth, quietly eating hot pot and listening to the gossip.
"So do you like him?" Jiang Ruan continued to ask.
Su Tiantian obediently nodded, "I think I probably do."
"Let ask you, do you like him just because he treats you well and buys you food, sothing that Lu Jie and I could also do for you? Or is it the kind of liking where every ti you see him, you can’t help your heart racing, you’re smitten, and you blush?"
