Clearly, this was an invitation to dinner with her.
But hearing this, Jiang Ruan now felt a bit stressed.
"No, Bao Ye." Jiang Ruan sighed and said helplessly, "I’m free tonight, but I’ve already agreed with Lu Jie and Su Tiantian to go for hot pot tonight. Lu Jie already booked the place. I can’t go back on my word now."
"How about we reschedule and I’ll join you for steak another ti? Or tomorrow, perhaps? I’m free tomorrow night."
Bao Ye’s tone was indifferent, "I’m not free."
"I have to travel for work tomorrow and might not return for a week."
So tonight was essentially their last dinner together.
