The Royal Knight was a dangerous foe with many different abilities, but he had one weakness, he had no allies, so he could not win alone.

"Here we go." Luis muttered as his silhouette blurred. He split into two shadows, then simultaneously attacked Royal Knight's legs from both sides.

Royal Knight reacted instantly, creating a barrier and protecting himself from the attack, however, Luis was only a distraction, the main thing was ahead.

"Great! I'll do the rest!" Jane exclaid with an excited expression as she jumped high up.

Her sword glowed brightly, and she swung her sword forward like a spear. At the sa mont, all the ice on her sword turned into a massive cone, heading towards Royal Knight at a trendous speed.

As they had anticipated, Royal Knight could not protect his chest and legs at the sa ti, so a satisfied smile appeared on Jane's face. The cone almost reached Royal Knight, but instead of joy, Jane felt only anxiety.

Whooooooooooooosh.

Royal Knight swung his sword briskly, destroying the ice cone into tiny pieces. He couldn't create another barrier, but he still had his weapon, against which re ice was useless.

"Shit... How could we have been so stupid...? We completely forgot that we're up against a living opponent, not a statue!" Jane muttered with a slightly lost look.

Crackle. Crackle. Crackle.

A loud crackling sound behind us, as if from electrical discharges, caught Dave's attention.

'Hmm... What's going on there...?' Dave turned as his eyes went wide at the sight of Zayne's. White lightning bolts emanated from his sword, seemingly capable of getting out of control at any mont.

Zayne glanced at Dave, and pointed his hand up, then lunged forward, straight at him.

'Agh...? What the hell is he going to do?' Dave was confused, but after a second he figured it out and had a confident smirk on his face, 'Hah, looks like I'm about to see sothing incredible.'

Dave leaned over and raised his shield above him, covering himself almost completely. From the outside, he looked like a turtle hiding under its shell.

Whoooooooooooosh.

Zayne with an easy leap onto the shield, then Dave pushed him forward with all his might, tossing Zayne high up.

All eyes were on him, even Luis and Jane couldn't look away, even though they were next to the Royal Knight.

'Fine, this will be a good test of what my new weapon is capable of. I hope it's worth six thousand Gold Coins.' Zayne muttered inwardly before swinging his sword.

At the sa mont, all the energy from the runes burst out, and a huge lightning bolt erged from the sword's tip. The Thunderbolt rained down on the Royal Knight's head, spreading electric shocks all over his body.

White sparks flew apart, while Royal Knight's body trembled violently until it exploded, releasing all the energy outward with powerful electric shocks. The debris flew in all directions, reaching even the Players who were far away.

Tap.

Zayne landed calmly and headed forward with a confident stride. Among the debris, sothing shone brightly with a pleasant blue light.

[You defeated Champion Grade Creature - Royal Knight!]

[You gained 300 Exp!]

[You gained the Title of Statue Hunter!]

[Statue Hunter: You seem to have a personal grudge against statues, otherwise it's hard to explain why you're so steady against them. Now, damage to stone opponents is increased by 10%.]

'Well... Even though I can't get Exp, the other rewards are still available to , right?' Zayne pondered as he read the description of the Title, 'Another one... Is it really much harder to get Titles than I thought? Alex is definitely strong, but he only had two... Damn, that's weird.'

Crackle.

Zayne pushed aside the large shard and looked at the blue, crystal sphere within which the essence was moving in streams. Zayne took it in his hands.

[Orb of the Defeated Royal Knight (Rare)

The transparent sphere contains a large amount of mana. It can be used for a variety of purposes, from boosting attacks to crafting gear or simply selling to so collector].

"Hmm... Not bad... I'm not a mage, so my mana is quite limited." Zayne muttered moving the orb into the ring, 'I found a source of electricity this ti, but sotis I have to use my mana instead.'

"Looks like it's over, right?" Dave said uncertainly, glancing at the others.

eαglesnᴏνel "Pffft, seems like that's how you beca the first, doesn't it?" Jane snorted with a frown as she stared at Zayne.

Zayne gave her a questioning look.

"You just took advantage of us and killed that mob! You got experience, and you also got yourself so item?! Although, all you did was one attack!" Jane exclaid irritably, crossing her arms over her chest.

Zayne shrugged, "Without my attack, you wouldn't have had the power to win, so fair enough. What's more, you could have ended it all with your skill, but you were too inattentive. In that case, you would have gotten all the rewards, and unlike you, I wouldn't have resented it."

Jane grimaced but didn't say anything since Zayne was right, and she understood that.

"Hey, let's not fight. This is just the beginning, and anyway, we're all doing a good job of eting the conditions." Luis said cheerfully as he looked toward the barrier, which was starting to shake.

[You have passed the first stage of the ruins! The barrier will fall soon!]

[You saved every mber of the group! It's a worthy achievent!]

[Pass through the barrier to advance to the second trial of ruins! However, don't forget to get your reward before you do!]

"Reward...?" So of the Players muttered.

The others were also puzzled. The Players looked around, trying to figure out where the reward was hidden, but they didn't have to wait long.

Tremble. Tremble. Tremble.

In the center, a massive slab trembled, then it slowly sank down with a loud crack. A few seconds later, another slab rose, covered with a cubic fog barrier behind which sothing was hiding.
