Luche suddenly smirked while looking at Jareth and Zion and said,
"Well, since you have brought out your most powerful weapon, I shouldn’t bother you for now..."
With that said, she brought out a teleportation scroll and used it to leave imdiately.
"She’s quite fast at running away..."
Hearing Jareth’s remark, Zion sighed loudly and nodded his head.
"Yeah, whenever I try to finally finish her, she runs away... I haven’t been able to kill her for the past few millennia..."
"She might be a little bit weaker than but she’s the best in the world when it cos to running away..."
Even Jareth couldn’t help but acknowledge Zion’s words.
In the ga, Luche is the type of boss character that you can encounter at random throughout the ga progress.
She has her own set arena too, but she’s one of the few bosses in the ga that can be encountered outside of her set boss arena.
Moreover, she’s the most annoying boss to fight.
If you sohow manage to reduce her health below 50%, she will imdiately run away and disappear.
Then you will keep encountering her more frequently on several occasions at random places until you finally go to her boss arena to defeat her once and for all.
She’s extrely persistent; even if she loses one battle, she will co back again on a later date.
’Phew, it’s finally over...’
It’s been less than a week or so since Jareth ca to the Elven Empire, and he’s already been involved in so many troubles that even he’s feeling a bit tired of it all now.
In just today alone, he has already fought quite a few grade-1 opponents.
’Even though I went through all this trouble, I still got nothing in return... sigh..’
The real reason why Jareth even ca here was to protect the golden nail, but now that this golden nail has also been broken, his mission has failed.
’It’s almost as if... sothing is interfering with and purposely making fail my missions at the very last mont...’
’The story of this world is already going haywire and there’s no fixing it anymore...’
Jareth glanced at Zion at this mont and found the other party was also looking at him vigilantly.
Although Jareth also wanted to fight Zion right now to get the second piece of that artificial sun that he had lost before, he knew that he currently has no effective thods to block Zion’s blade of salvation.
If Zion used ’Astra’ on him, then Jareth will not be able to defend himself even if he uses a 500-tis enhancent card.
The holy blade ’Astra’ has the ability to purify any and every being in the world.
Jareth himself has taken over the body of another person, and he’s not sure if his soul will get annihilated if he gets hit by that sword.
This body might belong to this world, but the soul residing inside doesn’t, which ans that the sword of salvation might see his soul as an ’Impurity’ to this ’World’.
If Zion found out about this, he would have a massive advantage over Jareth and would be able to defeat Jareth much more easily.
’I need to find artifacts that can counter Zion and Luche’s trump cards... before that, it’s better to avoid a battle with them...’
"I have fought enough opponents today; how about we fight so other day to settle the score?"
Hearing Jareth’s words, Zion nodded his head.
Even Zion wasn’t sure that he could win against Jareth in a head-on battle, and he still doesn’t know what kind of power Jareth used to boost his attacks.
Thus, he was also hesitating to fight right now.
As both of them weren’t ready to fight, they both decided to back off at this mont.
"Okay then, let’s postpone our duel to so other day... But you must leave the elven empire soon, Jareth Ayad..."
"Elves are under my protection, Now that I am here, I will stay here and protect them for the ti being, so you should go back to your human empire..."
Zion’s own mother was an elf, and he has been recognized as a national hero by the elven race, so it’s not surprising that he has decided to stay in the elven empire now.
The elven empire is in great turmoil right now, and it needs strong support.
Jareth may be strong, but he has no connection to the elves, and he only ca here for his own personal reasons; he has no interest in actively caring for the elves.
Zion, on the other hand, is more suited for this task.
"Well, I ca here because I wanted a leaf of the world tree for my research but seeing the situation here, I couldn’t sit still..."
"Now that you are here, I will leave the rest to you... I will leave with my students after a few days..."
The last world tree sapling has likely been destroyed in this turmoil, and there’s no way to get a leaf of the world tree so easily now.
Jareth has already scanned the entire forbidden area and the elven capital with his mana detection.
Yet, he didn’t find the presence of a single world tree sapling at all.
’The elves have lost their legacy, I guess... they really are a miserable race, sigh...’
According to the ga lore, the elves have been trying to grow a world tree for several millennia, but all their attempts have ended in failure.
Now that the last sapling has also been lost, it’s likely that they can never grow the world tree anymore.
Without the world tree, elves as a race will keep declining even more, and the last option they will have will be to open their trade routes to the human empire.
Or perhaps they might even end up becoming a vassal state of the human empire.
All in all, the future of the elven race seems very bleak.
’Well, thinking about the fact that this world itself might end up destroyed in a year or two, it doesn’t really make sense to worry about these smaller problems...’
If the entire planet is going to get destroyed soon anyway, all the other problems are just child’s play in front of this big trouble.
"By the way, do you know anything about the hideout of the ’False Do Cult’?... those guys have been destroying the golden nails here and there..."
"This is putting the entire world in danger..."
Zion shook his head at that question.
"This is my first ti even hearing their na, I wasn’t even on this planet up until recently, actually..."
"I have no idea about what’s going on in the current world... if not for Konda’s absence, I wouldn’t even have co back here..."
Jareth nodded his head.
"Well, I guess dealing with Konda did create a lot of change in the world..."
Hearing Jareth’s words, Zion’s eyes widened in shock.
"Wha-what!? What do you an you dealt with Konda!?"
At that mont, Jareth rembered that he hadn’t told Zion that the person who killed Konda was none other than him.
"Ah, well, I used a clever trick to kill him... there’s no more Konda ’The Terror’ in this world anymore..."
Zion mouth opened so wide that it seed like his jaw would fall to the ground at any mont.
"Th-this... this is unbelievable!"
Jareth shook his head at those words.
"Well, just watch so news or videos on the internet if you think I am lying... there are already so many people talking about it on the internet..."
"Ah, wait... don’t tell you don’t even know what ’Internet’..."
Hearing those words, Zion scratched the back of his head in embarrassnt.
"Er... I really don’t know about it, actually..."
"But it’s really a surprise that soone capable of killing that incarnation of terror is present in this world..."
"The human race really is blessed with imnse fortune... whenever there’s so difficulty, a new ’Hero’ is born to save the day..."
Jareth waved his hand at those remarks.
"No way, I am no hero at all... that title doesn’t suit in the slightest; I just dealt with that dragon because it ca running at for no reason..."
"In fact, if not for the minions of the false do cult, that bone dragon wouldn’t have even been able to co out of its seal..."
"If you find anything about these chaotic people, make sure to inform ..."
Zion nodded his head at those words.
"I will... these people are the common enemy of the entire world; they are doing imnse harm to the common folks..."
"If not for the fact that we were able to sohow deal with today’s catastrophe, these people really would have succeeded in destroying this world easily..."
Even though Jareth doesn’t like the False Do cult one bit.
He has to acknowledge that they are extrely efficient in their work.
If not for the fact that Jareth stopped the incarnation of the demon god, killed Konda and closed the spatial rift, any of these three thods would have been enough to destroy the world.
Each thod was more fatal than the other.
