Jiang Zhaoling slapped Sanya’s hand away.
"What are you trying to do to ?" Jiang Zhaoling was a little afraid at this point.
"Get out of the car. I’ll show you," Qin Zhuzhu unbuckled her seat belt and waited for her to get out.
Jiang Zhaoling took a deep breath and got out. She hated being in a crowd with so many people. It reminded her of the ti when she was forced into a trailer with other kids.
There was a hand on her shoulder, snapping her out of the past and bringing warmth to her.
Jiang Zhaoling turned to see Qin Zhuzhu.
"It’s okay. Go on. We are here," her voice was comforting and relaxing. It reminded her of a ’big sister’ who was among the trafficked children. That big sister once sang a song to calm her down and they held hands for a long ti. Jiang Zhaoling didn’t know what happened to that big sister after she was rescued.
Jiang Zhaoling took another deep breath and stepped into the bustling mall.
"Why did you bring here?" Jiang Zhaoling was still rude as usual. However her voice quivered slightly.
"To have fun. Didn’t she already said that?" Sanya answered.
They dragged her to the arcade centre. The machines emitted electronic sounds and the laughter of kids were heard from within. Jiang Zhaoling stared at the arcade centre.
Qin Zhuzhu learned that Jiang Zhaoling was tomboyish and liked to play shooting gas from uncle Wubai. So she took Jiang Zhaoling here to let off so steam and clear any misunderstandings they may have.
"Co on. What are you waiting for?" Qin Zhuzhu went to buy so tokens.
"I think we should leave," Jiang Zhaoling turned to leave but Sanya stopped her.
"Why? Don’t you like it here?" Qin Zhuzhu held her hand.
"So you had investigated?" Jiang Zhaoling sounded hurt and angry.
"Didn’t you also investigate ? What are you afraid of? No one’s gonna hurt you. I’m here for you," Qin Zhuzhu tried to look her in the face but Jiang Zhaoling quickly turned away from her.
Qin Zhuzhu realized that Jiang Zhaoling was hard on the outside but soft on the inside.
"Zhaoling, you don’t have to be afraid. Everyone has bad mories that they can’t forget. Like . I was once involved in an accident. When I regained consciousness, I saw dead bodies everywhere. It was scary," Qin Zhuzhu released Jiang Zhaoling’s hand as she was transported back to ten years ago.
If Jiang Zhaoling still wants to leave, then let her go.
Sanya’s eyes softened and she looked at the ground.
"The doctors said I hit my head hard and may suffer a mory loss. Yet I faced it and fought it head on. They were part of , good or bad. They are what shaped into the Qin Zhuzhu today. I cannot erase it nor hide from it. I don’t want to live in the shadows of the past. I only want to live in the present," Qin Zhuzhu sighed. It hurted her to bring these up again but it was part of her.
Most people would have gotten nightmares and ended up ntal but Qin Zhuzhu had a strong will. After recovery, she went on to marry Xu ng as if nothing had happened.
Song Ping was worried about her ntal state of mind at that ti. But Qin Zhuzhu acted as if nothing had happened.
Jiang Zhaoling took a look at Qin Zhuzhu and Sanya. Without saying a word, she walked out of the arcade centre and left.
"It didn’t help. Are you okay, XiaoZhu?" Sanya wrapped an arm around Qin Zhuzhu’s shoulders.
Qin Zhuzhu shook her head. "I only wondered what happened to that boy,"
She thought about the boy she saved amidst the burning tal and pieces of glass.
"He must have survived. The ambulance ca in ti. Let’s not bother about that. Co on," Sanya patted Qin Zhuzhu’s back of the head.
Sanya and Qin Zhuzhu decided to have fun by themselves. They played arcade gas and laughed while taunting each other who was better.
Unfortunately, Qin Zhuzhu always wins when it cos to gas.
"Not fair! Why do you have to kill off?" Sanya grumbled.
"Hehehe, I’m the one and only Warrior Goddess. Haven’t you forgotten?" Qin Zhuzhu’s character slayed the ugly demon emperor and she rose to the top. She reached the next level which was the hardest of all.
Sanya died a few tis.
"XiaoZhu, if I die in this level, you’re on your own,"
"Don’t worry. Let this Warrior Goddess give you so healing potion,"
They reached the hardest boss. The boss had many layers of fire protecting him with mini demons as his soldiers.
"Oh, we are doom," Sanya sighed, dropping the controller.
A pair of strong arms suddenly took the controller from her and slayed the mini demons. In no ti, the person who took over from her slayed the hardest boss professionally.
Sanya was in awe.
Qin Zhuzhu felt this person’s presence to be familiar. She turned and looked over her shoulders and ca face to face with a pair of beautiful seductive eyes. These eyes with long lashes were cold and icy, yet they emitted a strange warmth that only she, Qin Zhuzhu could feel.
The place was air conditioned but sohow she felt that it was hot. The tip of her ears started to turn red...
"Having fun all by yourselves.. Why didn’t you invite ?" Shentu Jing’s voice was deep and husky. He gave her a aningful look.
"These are kiddie’s gas. You wouldn’t want to play this, right?" Qin Zhuzhu laughed awkwardly.
Her whole face felt like it was on fire. She quickly took the chance to move further from him.
"Then why are you playing it? If you like kiddie’s gas, naturally I’ll like it too," he flirted with her.
"I think I should go. My uncle’s going to call ," Sanya made an excuse to get away from them. Maybe they needed so ti alone.
"No! Don’t go!"
