"Mingye, I’m sorry," Shentu Jing was at lost on what to do. He had never seen Shentu Mingye cried so much like today.
So he took Shentu Mingye with him to Skyward Peak Residence. Shentu Mingye allowed Shentu Jing to take him anywhere, following listlessly like a zombie.
It was gone. All gone! Previously he had been angry with Shentu Chu but after so ti, he cald down. He thought that it was his fault for calling Shentu Chu nas and an illegitimate son. Secretly, Shentu Mingye wanted to make up and apologize to Shentu Chu because Shentu Chu was the only brother he left.
The Shentu mansion feel so lonely and quiet without his two brothers. Shentu Ling was never ho and Jiang Zhaoling was busy with her family.
It was fine that Shentu Chu was greedy and wanted to beco the CEO of the Shentu Group. He could understand. After all, who doesn’t love power and money?
But when Shentu Chu said those words, Shentu Mingye felt a sharp stinging feeling in his heart. He didn’t realize how painful they were until today.
"You what? I’m not your brother. What I do or say have nothing to do with you, isn’t it? You’re an eyesore, an obstacle. You and your mother owed a life!" Shentu Chu’s voice held a mocking tone.
"Get out of here. I won’t be kind to you in the future. You too, Shentu Jing,"
What did he ant by that he and his mother owed him a life? What life? Whose?
Shentu Mingye felt listless and broken. Why did the family had to turn out like this?
"Mingye, second brother is wrong. I...I...," Shentu Jing knelt down to Shentu Mingye who sat on the couch.
His eyes were red but he was no longer crying. He looked as if he had lost his soul.
The door opened and Qin Zhuzhu crossed over to them. She saw the scene and looked at Shentu Jing, silently asking him what happened through her eyes.
Shentu Jing motioned for her to co over. Qin Zhuzhu and Shentu Jing were now kneeling before him. She had brought over a cup of warm tea. Then she sat beside him.
"Mingye, I’m sorry. It’s my fault for keeping things from you. If you want to bla soone, please bla too," her voice was gentle and caring.
She thought he was upset that they hid the fact of Shentu Jing being alive.
[What happened?] She mouthed to Shentu Jing.
[Shentu Chu argued with him] Shentu Jing mouthed back.
[What?] Qin Zhuzhu didn’t get what he was saying.
[Talk later]
Qin Zhuzhu didn’t know what to do. She tried talking to him, apologizing, but it he didn’t respond. Many hours have passed until the next morning.
Shentu Mingye was still seating there, never drinking or touching his food. He didn’t even sleep.
"This can’t go on," Qin Zhuzhu sighed. They stared at Shentu Mingye’s back.
"The story.... I’ve already told you. What do we do?" Shentu Jing leaned against the doorfra.
He may have told her the story and reason for their quarrel but he had cut out so parts. He couldn’t bring himself to tell her that Shentu Chu was investigating her family.
"I have an idea!" Qin Zhuzhu quickly took out her phone.
"What idea?"
"You’ll know soon," She pressed on a number. The call was connected after 5 seconds.
Jiang Zhaoling was drinking water when she ca to check her laptop. The screen flashed with the closeup shot of soone’s clothes. She increased the volu and soon she heard their voices loud and clear.
Then the cara’s lens shifted to Shentu Jing’s face.
"Ptfff!" Jiang Zhaoling spat the water out of her mouth when Shentu Jing ca into view.
So it was true..... He wasn’t dead? She even heard and recognized his voice. So she had been right all along! He didn’t die! There was no way he could die in a plane crash. No wonder his tomb was empty!
But then again, why was Shentu Chu with him? Did Shentu Chu knew sothing? She made the volu louder and imdiately, her pupils shrank.

She hurriedly grabbed her things and made her way to Skyward Peak Residence.
Not long later, Sanya arrived at Skyward Peak Residence. Qin Zhuzhu led her in and pointed to the living room.
"He’s is the living room. He wouldn’t eat, sleep, drink or move. Do sothing, pleaseee...." Qin Zhuzhu was almost pleading to Sanya, putting on her best begging expression.
"Why makes you think I can help him?" Sanya crossed her arms.
"I have a feeling that maybe...."
"Maybe what?" Sanya eyed her confusedly. Why did she feel like Qin Zhuzhu was getting the wrong idea? Could it be that it was because she had brought him back from the airport and they they thought she could handle Shentu Mingye?
"Maybe he’ll listen to you. Can’t you try? Just use your foul mouth to scold him back to his senses or comfort him at least," Qin Zhuzhu encouraged her, showing her fist to lift Sanya’s spirits.
"Okay. I’ll try. But I can’t guarantee it’ll work," Sanya sighed and walked into the living room where she found Shentu Mingye staring into a blank spot.
"Yo! Dumb kitten!" She called out harshly. She can’t believe that she was trying to cheer up the most annoying man in the world.
The areas around Shentu Mingye darkened with a shadow of a woman’s figure as she towered over him. He looked up to see Sanya looking down at him with a fierce look.
For the first ti, she didn’t hear him argue or scold her back. Shit, she kinda missed him calling her nas.
Sanya sighed. Did he just ignored her? Whatever.
"Let’s go. I’m taking you sowhere," She grabbed his hand and pulled him up from the couch, dragging him out of Skyward Peak Residence.
