Later, Shentu Chu took a stroll while reading through the digital docunts he had to sign with so small companies.
When he looked up from the phone, his eyes brightened when he saw a familiar girl sitting on the bench facing the sea. Her legs dangling a little, giving off the vibes of a sweet schoolgirl waiting for her lover.
The soft glow of the morning’s sun seem to highlight the girl’s features, and her hair, dark and voluminous, cascaded down her shoulders like magnolia flower.

Qiao Nian turned and saw him approaching her. Why was he here? Should she pretend not to see him or....

Qiao Nian only nodded, looking sad and hopeless. The girl had a troubled family. Maybe her family was worst than his. So there was no difference between a child of a principal wife or an illegitimate child.
"If she bullies you in the future, tell . I’ll beat her up for you. If any of your family mbers bullies you, tell too. I’ll kick them to hell,"
Qiao Nian turned and t his eyes. For the first ti, she seed to see so kind of light in those eyes. Warm, comforting and relaxing.
Shentu Chu couldn’t resist patting her small head and pinching her baby cheeks.

The girl’s cheeks, being pinched by the man like this, made her looked too sweet and cute. Shentu Chu wanted to just keep her in his pockets forever.
"Then what if it entirely wasn’t because of my sister?"
"Who else made you sad?" He sounded like he would fight ten thousand soldiers to protect her.
"My fiance," Qiao Nian slowly said.
"Your fiancé?
"Arranged by my family!" Qiao Nian quickly waved her hands. Sohow she felt so nervous if he thinks that she had another man other than him..... God, what was she thinking?
She heard him scoffed.
"Do you like him?" Shentu Chu let go of her cheeks.
"I...I..." Qiao Nian realized that Shentu Chu was serious.
"You like him or not is your decision. Don’t let anyone decide your marriage, not even your parents," Shentu Chu swallowed.
"I don’t know if I like him or not," Qiao Nian said softly. What can she say? The fiancé she was talking about was actually in front of her.
"Since you are unsure of your feelings towards your fiancé, I suggest you talk with him and spend so ti with him. Maybe by then, you’ll realize it sooner than later," Shentu Chu stood up and left.
"Wai..." Qiao Nian watched him walked into the crowd and disappeared. Why did she feel like he was sad or disappointed? Was she thinking too much?
A red sportscar drove up to the bench. Qiao Minde got out of the car and looked down at his sister.
"Brother!" The girl hopped up from the bench.
"I t with Shentu Chu yesterday,"
"What? Really?" Qiao Nian’s eyes widened..
"What did you do? You didn’t do anything right?" She tugged on his sleeves, wondering if her brother beat him up or do sothing terrible to him. Her brother was known for being ruthless and rciless after all.
Hearing the anxious voice of the girl, Qiao Minde laughed.
"You’re so impatient to know the details. Could it be that you really like him?"
"What?! No!" Qiao Nian quickly denied it, her cheeks flushed red all of sudden.
"Actually, he said he wanted you to beco his sister in law,"
"What?"
Sister in law? If she becos Shentu Chu’s sister in law, then that ans that he will marry....
Qiao Nian was even more confused.
His sister really was innocent and naive. Qiao Minde sighed and rolled his eyes.
