After stepping down from iyue Group, Lin Yue spent most of her ti following Gu Feng into space, occasionally lending him a hand with the construction of Teleportation Arrays.
However, often her Nascent Soul Level capabilities weren’t sufficient to match Gu Feng’s ability to enact spells with a re word, so she could only wander aimlessly on a certain planet, waiting for Gu Feng to finish his work before moving on with him to the next planet.
They would set out every morning and return to Earth in the evening.
It seed like a monotonous routine, but Lin Yue felt content as long as she was with her man.
But it wasn’t without its rewards, as she passed by certain planets and encountered precious cultivation resources like Spirit Stones or so cutting-edge weapons and exceptionally defensive tals, she would casually collect so with her Storage Ring.
In the vast expanse of the Galaxy, most materials didn’t hold much value for a Nascent Soul Stage cultivator like Lin Yue.
But for many Martial Artists on Earth and cultivators at their current stage, those materials were precisely what they needed the most.
Lin Yue didn’t want Gu Feng to have to do everything himself, so whenever she passed by or saw these materials, she would collect so to eventually give to her family.
One day, the dinsion of the planet Gu Feng was going to was relatively high, posing so danger for Lin Yue at the Nascent Soul Stage.
Gu Feng explained, "In the universe, not all planets have a three-dinsional spatial structure like Earth. The Nascent Soul exists as a four-dinsional life form, so material harm from Earth is unlikely to damage a four-dinsional Nascent Soul master; similarly, a four-dinsional Nascent Soul entering a five-dinsional spatial structure would find their freedom restricted and their strength diminished as the density and mass of five-dinsional space prevent four-dinsional life forms from flying."
Lin Yue suddenly understood, "So that’s why you described in your book that even a small realm gap is insurmountable, right?"
Gu Feng smiled, "Exactly, the level gaps between cultivators are difficult to bridge. A Nascent Soul would never manage to defeat a Divinity Transformation cultivator because they exist in a higher dinsion and you can’t ascend to touch them, yet they can descend and crush you like an ant."
Lin Yue, like a curious child, asked, "So real-life challenges across ranks don’t exist, right?"
"Not necessarily," Gu Feng elucidated. "Unless you use so Magical Treasure that allows you to ascend dinsions and touch higher-dinsional spaces, but usually, even a Heavenly-level Magical Treasure can only help you cross one dinsion."
"If it’s just a difference of one or two dinsional ranks, it’s not too much of a problem. A Nascent Soul master’s Cave Mansion can enlighten all cultivators below the Core Formation Stage, but if these Core Formation cultivators intrude into a Cave Mansion established by soone in the Mahayana Realm, differing by at least three dinsions, it becos extrely dangerous. The gene dust lifeforms present in the Cave Mansion of the Mahayana Realm could infiltrate through the air into the bodies of Core Formation cultivators and kill them, not to ntion other wildly growing powerful species."
After hearing this, Lin Yue gained a whole new understanding of the cultivation system.
This was also why Gu Feng hadn’t continued to establish Cave Mansions on Earth.
With his current divine sense covering the entire Solar System, he could easily nurture the entire system, including Earth, with the Spiritual Field.
However, because his realm was too high, it would fundantally change the dinsional structure of the entire Solar System, forcing an ascension of dinsions.
With his strength already spanning over thirty dinsions, forcibly establishing a Cave Mansion in the Solar System would shatter and reconstitute the entire system, leaving life extinct and only matter remaining!
Understanding that she might not always be able to follow Gu Feng into certain celestial bodies, Lin Yue chose to stay at ho instead.
That day, she had invited Jiang Xue and Liu Yuan to play mahjong at ho.
During the ga, Lin Yue realized that there was no need to keep soone around just to give orders, so she decided to settle things with her assistant Yu, who had been with her for several years.
"Yu, do you want to start a business, or would you prefer a career in politics?" Lin Yue inquired casually while playing mahjong.
Yu blinked in surprise, "President Lin, I..."
She knew this was a leadership opportunity for her to choose her path, and she felt both nervous and expectant.
But at the sa ti, she was afraid that speaking up about what she wanted might displease her boss, so she hesitated to say more.
Lin Yue reassured her, "It’s okay, just tell what you really want. Whether you want so money to start a business or to join the system, I can arrange it for you."
Yu stood there, biting her lip, torn with indecision.
After a mont, she clenched her teeth and said, "Boss, I’d like to start my own business."
Pei Li, who was playing mahjong with them, looked up at Yu in surprise, "Is it for your fiancé?"
When she noticed Lin Yue’s puzzled gaze, she quickly explained, "Yu has a boyfriend with so capabilities and potential."
Normally, with the resources provided by their elder sister, a rational person would choose to enter politics, as in the Dragon Nation, power brought wealth!
Yu was well aware of what choice to make, but she also explained her reasons, "My fiancé hopes that I can stay at ho to enjoy life while he works to provide for us."
Pei Li chuckled, "Does he even know who your boss is?"
Yu nodded, "I’ve always told him that I work for a small company. I wanted to test his attitude towards , and over the years, even though I’ve been through ups and downs following President Lin, he has been very good to ."
Lin Yue smiled affectionately, "Are you planning on getting married then?"
Yu blushed and nodded, not hiding her intent.
"That’s good," Lin Yue nodded and didn’t specify how much money she would give to Yu, instead turning to Pei Li, "When she decides what she wants to do, help her out."
Pei Li nodded with a smile, "Sure thing, big sis."
Lin Yue also turned to Yu with a reflective tone, "If you ever run into any trouble, just call Pei Li. Money is not an issue."
Yu, standing nearby, bowed gratefully to Lin Yue, "Thank you, President Lin."
Having followed her for so many years, Yu felt sowhat sad that this day had co, but she couldn’t hold back her tears as she knelt before Lin Yue to express her gratitude.
Afterward, she handed over all her duties to Pei Li.
"Yu, just like I told you, stay at ho and enjoy life. I’ll make sure to start a good business and earn more money to provide for you, and we’ll have lots of children," her fiancé enthused, brimming with joy like a child on the day they registered their marriage.
Yu simply watched him with a smile.
"Don’t work too hard at your job. If you run into any difficulties, tell . I’m your wife, and we’ll figure it out together. I’ve t quite a few influential people through my job, and I might be able to help you out," she reassured him.
With the backing of her boss’s promise, Yu now felt much more confident about supporting her ambitious but grassroots fiancé.
