Xu Dong took his wife Lin Qin out to dinner with Lin Yue and Gu Feng.
The main reason was that Gu Feng had helped a lot last ti.
"These past few days, I finally managed to get the fire safety, health, and other business permits sorted out." Xu Dong said with a smile, toasting Gu Feng with a glass of wine, "Thank you, brother-in-law, if Mr. Liu hadn’t personally helped out, getting through the fire departnt might not have been so easy."
Gu Feng waved his hand dismissively, "You’re making it awkward with thanks. Just make sure there’s nothing shady going on once the shop opens."
"I will." Xu Dong nodded, then took out a docunt from his bag.
He handed it to Gu Feng, "Brother-in-law, this is for you."
Gu Feng glanced at it and saw it was a share transfer agreent. Without looking too closely, he declined, "No need for that, just give a copy to Liu Jin."
"I’ve already given Mr. Liu his copy," Xu Dong said with a smile. "My shop couldn’t have opened without you, so please take this one as well."
Lin Yue opened the contents of the docunt for Gu Feng, "Wow, 20% equity. Xu Dong, you are quite generous."
"We’re family, of course, I’ll share more." Xu Dong said with a smile.
How could he not give more?
He had only given 10% to Liu Jin.

Lin Yue then looked towards Gu Feng and asked, "So this share is worth twenty million, are you sure you don’t want it?"
Gu Feng, not even glancing at the share certificate and focusing on his soup, shook his head, "Since we’re family, there’s no need for politeness. Take back the share, it’s yours."
Lin Yue was surprised.
Twenty million! That was what Gu Feng deserved for leveraging his own resources, and yet he was declining it?
Seeing Gu Feng’s refusal, Xu Dong quickly said to his wife Lin Qin, "Qin, did you get the wrong contract?"
Lin Qin reacted promptly, quickly nodding in agreent, "Yes, yes, I think I got it wrong."
Xu Dong hurriedly stashed the contract away, saying with a smile, "Brother-in-law, I’ll revise the contract and bring it to you later."
"Don’t bother," Gu Feng, seeing his intent, gave him a reproachful look, "Even if you gave the whole night club, I wouldn’t want it. Take it back, consider it a change of address fee for the two of you, and don’t get involved in these ssy things anymore."

Gu Feng, "I’m really not interested in the money."
"Then why did you take on this job and accept my three million?" Lin Yue seed to have found a point of contention.
Gu Feng’s other hand opened the storage compartnt and took out a card.
It was the bank card that Lin Yue had given him with three million on it.
He handed it to her, "I haven’t touched the money."
Lin Yue exclaid in surprise, "I didn’t set a password, you could have used it."
Gu Feng, "I have my own money."
Lin Yue took the bank card just so Gu Feng wouldn’t be distracted while driving, but she nevertheless put the card back in the storage compartnt.
A little while later, she turned her face as if plucking up the courage to ask Gu Feng, "Did you do this because of ?"

"Oh." Lin Yue, her cheeks flushed with embarrassnt, quickly unbuckled her seatbelt, grabbed her purse, and got out of the car. After seeing Gu Feng drive off, she muttered in frustration, "Couldn’t you have dropped off at the parking lot!"
