Lately, Zhen Yuanbai had been spending too much ti playing gas with Shi Bufan. Because the two of them don’t often go out together, they have been strengthening their relationship in the ga. Zhen Yuanbai was quite intelligent and he quickly understood the tactics and such. Within a few short days, he had gained quite a bit of combat experiences. Whenever he heard footsteps, he even knew that there was a possibility that soone was hiding there.
Their relationship had gotten much better due to them playing gas together and they finally had a common topic to talk about besides academic studies.
When Zhen Yuanbai first entered the ga, he felt bad to attack soone first. He only started to retaliate after soone had hit him. Later on, he started attacking people first and even crashed into people while driving a car. His sudden changes had to do with Shi Bufan’s encouragent because once he killed soone, Shi Bufan would complint him.
Despite being very happy while playing gas, Zhen Yuanbai didn’t beco addicted. He kept his mind on his job. He would finish his howork first and then he would remind Shi Bufan to do his howork as well, while he was at it. At the sa ti, he even took ti out to help tutor Shi Bufan with his howork. Even if he didn’t go to Shi Bufan’s house, the two of them would talk in video chats.
Shi Bufan had worked quite hard as well. He had improved another 50 ranks or so during the monthly exam, shocking the students and teachers. Soone analyzed the situation and believed that at this rate, it wouldn’t be a dream for Shi Bufan to score second. The principal even praised Shi Bufan at the flag raising ceremony as well as Teacher Zhen for doing a good job at teaching him. Zhen Yuanbai ended up in the spotlight and he stood next to Shi bufan, raising his chest and chin, prideful. He welcod the whole school’s gazes and his eyes were bright like stars.
Shi Bufan glanced sideways at Zhen Yuanbai and thought: aren’t you quite proud?
Once the flag raising ceremony ended, the students walked back in groups back to the school building. Even the teachers gathered together, chatting idly, “Your class’s Teacher Zhen is quite wonderful. He actually got Shi Bufan to pick up his book.”
Ji Yanping was quite proud as well, smiling and saying, “He’s just a little naughty and mischievous, but he’s quite smart. As long as he’s willing to learn, it’s not like he’s any worse than the other students.”
“The problem is that he has to be willing!” A teacher said, “Did you forget how he handed in a blank exam for his high school examination? It was the Shi Family who forcibly shoved him in this school. See if another person dares to do so.”
Ji Yanping’s smile faded a bit, but she said calmly, “It might be because Zhen Yuanbai had saved him. They’re kids and they value loyalty. Shi Bufan said he would repay his benefactor.”
“That’s true. Kids are kids. It’s easy for them to get on the wrong path, but also easy to bring them back on the right path.”
Ji Yanping nodded a few tis in a row, but after leaving the crowd, she was a bit worried. Only a few knew about Shi Bufan’s amnesia and Ji Yanping was one of them. She had personally witnessed Shi Bufan trying to beco a better student, but she felt like it had a lot to do with Shi Bufan’s amnesia. Once he recovers his mory... it might be not the case anymore.
Zhen Yuanbai happily ran to the classroom with his classmates, but he only sprinted a few steps when soone grabbed the collar of his shirt. He glanced up and Shi Bufan took the chance to hug him in his arms, saying, “Did I make you proud today?”
Zhen Yuanbai nodded and said, “You make extrely proud!”
Shi Bufan curled his lips and said, “Then how do you plan on rewarding ?”
“I’ll play gas with you tonight?”
“Co to my house tonight.”
“No.” Zhen Yuanbai rejected right away and said, “Your family doesn’t have a pleasant atmosphere, so I don’t want to go.”
Shi Bufan touched his nose and said, “Then let’s go out and sing tonight?”
Zhen Yuanbai punched his chest while Shi Bufan laughed and rubbed his chest. Zhen Yuanbai glared at him and said, “Don’t be satisfied with your accomplishnt and act arrogant as a result. Whenever you can score 1st place in class, now that’s sothing to be celebrated.”
“You dare to hit ? Are you seeking death?”
“Humph.”
As long as Shi Bufan didn’t recover his mory, he wasn’t afraid of the latter hitting him.
Zhen Yuanbai was unwilling to go karaoke, so Shi Bufan couldn’t do much about it either. He took a step back and wanted to play gas with him, but Zhen Yuanbai had retorted quite reasonably, “It’s going to be the final exam soon. It’s a luxury to play gas, so just be satisfied.”
Since his little classmate said this, no matter whether Shi Bufan was satisfied or not, he had to be.
Today, Zhen Youxiu had returned quite late and after greeting his elder brother, he went straight back to his room. It was almost the final exam, so Zhen Pinjing had confiscated all his gas. He could only play on his iPad and even more, he needed to prevent his elder brother from noticing this because right now, Zhen Yuanbai must be devoting himself to learning anxiously. If he finds out, he will definitely tattletale on him.
He had gotten to know a new friend on the internet and the two mutually understood one another. He prepared to create a WeChat account in order to make his way up the rankings. Coincidentally, the new season was coming, so Zhen Youxiu agreed.
After entering the room, Zhen Yuanbai first shoved his earbuds in and then nad himself a clear and resounding na. After he skillfully entered the ga, the first thing he did was to invite his old friends from the list, but he accidentally saw soone online that shouldn’t be... no, soone that shouldn’t even be in the ga.
Zhen Yuanbai was kneeling down in a small room when he detected unfamiliar footsteps in his surroundings. There seed to be more than one person as well , so while telling Shi Bufan that there were people in the room, he filled his gun with bullets, waiting for the mont for soone to enter. The mont they did, he would shoot them no matter what.
“Be careful. I’ll be coming right over.” Shi Bufan’s voice comforted Zhen Yuanbai and the latter held in his breath, hiding behind the door. The footsteps on the map revealed at least three people searching within this building.
Soone was heading his way and Zhen Yuanbai lifted his gun, his heart pounding quickly.
He was forced to admit that he wasn’t really suitable for the ga because he will never be able to skillfully play the ga. Whenever he encountered this situation, he was extrely nervous.
At this ti, soone suddenly knocked on the door. He was unable to differentiate between the ga and reality, so he lifted his head after a mont of shock. He looked over to see soone shaking on the doorknob and voices ringing. He was shocked and hurriedly took out his earbuds and jumped over, opening the door. As expected, it was Zhen Youxiu stabbing the door lock with the key, asking, “Is there a matter?”
“I saw you in the ga.” Zhen Youxiu said coldly, “Did Shi Bufan carry you in the ga?”
Zhen Yuanbai said with guilt, “Why do you care?”
“You have been playing with Shi Bufan for a while, right?”
He was able to conclude that based on Zhen Yuanbai’s combat experiences and the latter wasn’t good at lying anyway. He said shyly, “I originally didn’t plan on playing, but Shi Bufan charged data for on my phone...”
“Can’t you do the sa back to him?”
Zhen Yuanbai glanced at him, still wondering if his character had killed the three enemies. He asked unhappily, “Is there a problem?”
Zhen Youxiu trained his gaze on him and asked, “Why won’t you play with when I asked? Do you hate ?”
“No.” Zhen Yuanbai disliked being asked this, explaining, “That’s not the case. I just had nothing to do that day, so I casually went to play. We’re not in the sa region, so I didn’t tell you.”
Zhen Youxiu said, “I want to play with you guys.”
After all, Zhen Youxiu was his brother, so Zhen Yuanbai didn’t have it in him to reject, so he said, “Of course, but I’m only playing for another week at most before I need to prepare for my final exam.”
Without another word, Zhen Youxiu brought his iPad over and squeezed in with his brother. As expect, Zhen Yuanbai’s character was killed. After they started a new round, for the first ti, Zhen Yuanbai started playing with a team of four. Shi Bufan had caught most of their conversation, so he ended up staying quiet now.
The mont the four entered the ga, Zhen Youxiu ordered, “Follow .”
Zhen Yuanbai glanced at his expression and softly said, “Follow him. He’s quite good.”
It was unsure if Shi Bufan had heard it or not. He chose to follow the Gunner instead of the Gunner’s brother.
The four imdiately teleported to a very crowded place and then they split up to search for weapons. Zhen Youxiu’s online friend was quite talkative and he would call out whenever he picked up a gun or a landmine.
Zhen Youxiu and Shi Bufan stayed quiet and Zhen Yuanbai felt bad to let his friend talk by himself, so he added on from ti to ti.
From Zhen Youxiu’s perspective, he glanced at the Bomb’s room and then he suddenly charged over. Shi Bufan searched quickly and after sweeping across the room, he stood right there and changed his bullets when he sharply heard noises, so he imdiately ran towards the window. In the next second, he heard explosions from behind him and obviously, he wasn’t able to run away in ti. He still lost half his hp.
After he landed on the ground, Zhen Youxiu appeared in front of him.
The two glanced at each other, but said nothing.
Zhen Yuanbai then realized what happened and asked, “How did you lose your hp?”
While bandaging himself, Shi Bufan said faintly, “I think your brother accidentally missed and bombed .”
Zhen Youxiu’s online friend imdiately laughed out loud and said, “I can’t believe you! Don’t you have good aim?”
Zhen Youxiu said, “Today is not my day. Sorry, Brother Shi.”
“Heh. Be more careful next ti.”
“Oh.”
Next, Zhen Youxiu didn’t make any more mistakes. The four of them perfectly broke through the Mandate of Heaven Circle. They just needed to cooperate with one another to beat the ca. Shi Bufan kept his eyes trained on the surrounding and the mont he saw soone, before he could pull the trigger, he was bombed and exposed, killed by the enemy.
Shi Bufan was speechless.
Zhen Yuanbai was shocked and he asked, “You got exposed?”
Shi Bufan unwrapped a piece of chocolate and shoved it in his mouth, suppressing his anger and saying, “It seems like your brother missed again, but it’s ok. There are only two people on the other side, so the three of you guys can probably handle this.”
No matter how stupid Zhen Yuanbai was, he understood what happened after Shi Bufan’s hint. After the round ended, he placed his phone down and chased Zhen Youxiu out of his room. “Ok, I’m not going to play anymore. Quickly go back and do your howork too.”
Zhen Youxiu ducked his hand and said, “I did it on purpose.”
Zhen Yuanbai couldn’t help but ask, “Why?”
“Because he kept on bullying you in the past and I can’t bear to see him.”
Zhen Yuanbai couldn’t find it in himself to scold him as his brother was just being good to him. He sat in bed and said helplessly, “I am friends with him right now, so stop targeting him. He forgot what happened in the past.”
“You also forgot?” Zhen Youxiu said, “Aren’t you afraid that he might beat you up after he recovers his mory?”
“Can you not jinx ?” Zhen Yuanbai said, “I’ve been very nice to him, so even if he really recovers his mory, he won’t be completely unreasonable.”
“What makes you think that?”
“Because he said he...” Zhen Yuanbai swallowed the words “couldn’t bear to hit .” He continued, “He said he’s quite grateful for and he won’t hit .”
“Do you like him?”
Zhen Youxiu’s words were like a ruthless sword aiming straight at him.
Zhen Yuanbai couldn’t fight back.
