(Third Person POV)
[In The Far East]
Inside the massive room of the ruined Temple, several cloaked figures had the sa fla-pattern design on them as the ones that Heine ntioned.
They were gathered over a massive brazier that was lit on flas which reached several feet into the air, releasing an imnse heat. The cloaked figures were on their knees, their hands in a prayer gesture as they were chanting softly to the cozier.
What words they chanted was unknown, as their chanting consisted of mostly gibberish and strange combinations of phrases.
The flas on the Cozier continued blazing, releasing an imnse heat that would normally singe anyone that was nearby, but the cloaked figures were unfazed.
These were the Cultists that Jason was investigating.
As this happened, a tall cloaked figure appeared from the doorway that was beyond the massive brazier. This one happened to be wearing a white cloak, in contrast to the other ones that wore black ones.
Not only that, it looked to be a woman, as her buxom and curvaceous figure were outlined even through the cloak. The woman was wearing a ceremonial mask that covered her entire face, only showing a bit of her hair which happened to be a silver white. Aside from her hair, there were no other notable attributes that could be seen on this woman; even her hands were covered by light gray silk gloves.
Her mask was littered with gems that were placed in a strange pattern, for whatever reason, it resembled a strange claw-mark.
The cloaked woman approached the brazier as she raised her hands to her chest, extending them outwards.
"The warmth of The Blazing Black One...." Her low and raspy voice was heard, "I have never felt anything like it...O, Great One, Grant Us The Power To Release You..."
As she said this, the other cloaked figures began to chant loudly, their voices were able to be heard all around the massive room. As this happened, the flas erupted even more violently and they expanded outwards, releasing a much more violent heat. The Cultists were not bothered by this, however, as they continued chanting loudly.
The masked woman moved her hands in frantic gestures as she spun around, "O, Great One~~~!!" she let out a moan of pleasure, "Your Acolytes Are Here~~ I can feel your presenceeee~~~~~~"
As she danced around the brazier, the cultists continued to chant loudly, causing the flas to expand even more. None of them were affected by the intense heat that was emitted from the cozier, it was enough to burn off the cloaks they wore, but nothing.
The woman continued to dance as she clasped her hands together, "My Lord~" she said, "Do you hear ? It is I, Nirvana~~ The one nad after that Magic~~~ I am here to commune with you~~ Please hear my voice and send forth the one you spoke of years ago~~~"
She knelt in front of the brazier as she looked at the flas, quietly staring at them through the small slits of her mask.
"Interesting...." She said, "His Holiness does not speak today....why? Did I do sothing wrong, Great One???? Please, do not leave .....I will take my life if you leave !!!"
"Nirvana." A voice said
The woman turned to see a tall and bulky man walk up to her. He was wearing a formal suit, he had tan skin and white hair. His hair was combed into a slick-back style, and he also thick and luscious beard that was trimd well.
He approached the woman with his hands behind his back, "His Holiness, as you refer to The Great One, does not need to speak today." He said as he stopped next to her, "It is his will to rely send forth the promised warrior."
"I-Is that so?" Nirvana said, "Oh...yes, that's true.....it is his will....of course, How can I be so stupid!! Great One, please forgive !! I shall sacrifice my left eye to compensate for such foolishness!! Please accept it!!!"
"No." The Man said, "It is not necessary."
The Man then raised his arm as it glowed with a bright crimson mark.
"Not necessary? Therion, what do you an?" Nirvana asked
"He's coming." Therion said
The man's dark blue eyes turned white suddenly as he began to chant.
"FLAS OF THE BLAZING BLACK ONE, SEND FORTH HIS MAJESTY'S ENVOY"
The flas suddenly split in half and a bright white light shone from between them, releasing a massive wave of magic power and heat.
"Ohhhh~~~~~" Nirvana yelled as she stood up, "Yesss~~ It is His Holiness, His Holiness has sent us the prophesized warrior!!!"
Suddenly, a tall figure erged from the flas and stepped atop the rim of the brazier as the flas raged around it.
Therion's eyes turned back to normal as he lowered his hands.
"Hm..." He said, "Welco, promised warrior, We are The Blazing Acolytes, Servants of The Blazing Black God.....You are the one he promised us, are you not...."
Suddenly, the flas disappeared into a poof of cold smoke, revealing the newcor. It was a massive and tall man clad in black armor, who was rely staring at the two Acolytes in front of him. His armor resembled that of a dieval knight but emitted an intense and powerful magic power. His helt completely covered his face, not a sign of skin in sight.
"Oooooh~~!!!" Nirvana let out a blissful moan, "A Knight~~ How powerful is he~~???"
"Hm...." The Knight's deep voice was heard through his helt, "Where is he?"
Therion raised his eyebrow, "Who?"
"Who do you think?" The Knight said, "Where is Jason Darkborne?"
Nirvana chuckled, "Oh? Him?" He said, "The one knowns as the God of Darkness? Is he the one His Holiness sent you to destroy? Oooohh~~ I get wet just by thinking of his mangled face."
The Knight then stepped off the brazier and landed on the ground, the weight of this impact causing cracks in the floor.
Therion narrowed his eyes as the imposing figure of this newcor was enough for the other cultists to back up in nervousness. This overwhelming magic power was also making Therion uneasy. He was a servant of The Blazing Black God, a powerful mage. But even so, this man was unsettling him.
"Did you not hear ?" The Knight asked, "Where is Jason Darkborne?"
"In Ishgar." Therion said, "But worry not. We have a 'bait' here. He will co to us."
"So he is supposed to kill Jason, isn't he Therion?" Nirvana asked, "His Holiness is full of surprises!"
Therion nodded, "Yes." He said, "Kind sir, what is your na."
The Knight looked around, scanning his surroundings without saying much of a word. He then faced Therion and Nirvana as he emitted a powerful aura without even trying.
"First of all." The Knight said, "I am anything but Kind. But...."
"My Na Is Maliketh."
