(Third Person POV)
Erion turned around and hod into Zeref's ship that was beginning to falter. He engulfed both his arms in black light as he let out a deep growl, emitting a massive wave of black light.
He ramd into the side of the ship before August could even react, shattering a portion of it as he swiped both of his claws at both the Black Wizard and The Magic King.
August deployed yet another barrier that managed to block the claws of the young dragon which managed to block the full brunt of the attack, but still shattered almost imdiately.
"Oh!" Zeref said as he jumped away from the shockwave, "Now that's so power!"
The Emperor landed on top of a platform above the deck as he looked at Erion, who was focused on August.
The young dragon let out a roar as he swung his left claws at August.
"Tch!" August said as he raised his staff
He released what looked like another barrier around himself, deflecting the dragon's claws, and causing them to hit to the side.
Zeref chuckled, "Look at that..." He said, "It appears that its power is to be wary of..."
"Begone, beast." August said with a glare
He slamd his staff on the floor, causing a massive shockwave that pushed Erion back slightly, surprising the dragon.
As this happened, Jason jumped out of Erion's back and swung his massive sword at August with trendous speed.
"Fuck off." Jason growled as August dodged the attack
August noticed that the blade Jason was wielding was an odd one.
"Hm..." August said, "Interesting, that blade is made out of the sa organic material as the dragon's...."
"Yea." Jason said as he readied a stance, "What of it?"
Zeref then jumped towards Jason, summoning a ball of black magic power on his left hand, preparing to make an attack. As he neared him, the Black Wizard noticed the massive spike in Jason's magic power as he released a black aura.
But it was a bit too late.
"Ruinous Extermination: Sword God's Swift Edge"
In an instant, Jason released an attack of black slices at both Zeref and August, hitting them hard and sending them flying. As this happened, Erion focused his attention on August and swung his claws at him, sending him flying through the front of the ship and down toward the city.
August hit a building, causing it to crumble, resulting in a shockwave that was felt throughout the city.
Erion took flight, flapping his wings and moving himself in front of the ship, charging black light into his mouth.
Zeref, who straightened himself up, noticed this.
"A breath attack?" He said, "August!!"
Erion fired off a massive beam of black light straight into the ground where August had landed, causing a massive explosion that shook the entire city and shattered every building in the vicinity.
"Oi, Erion!" Jason said, "Take it easy! Don't blow up the whole city! It'll be a bitch to rebuild!"
Zeref looked at Jason, "It appears that thing is too dangerous to be left alone." He said, "Sothing must be done."
Jason gave Zeref an annoyed look, "Blah blah blah, shut the fuck up." He said, "Sothing must be done about you, Zeref. I'll put you to the ground, don't you worry."
Zeref smirked, "I like your spunk, Jason." He said, "Do you really think you can defeat ?"
Jason readied his blade, "We'll find out." He said seriously, "Co."
Down below, the forces of Alvarez were scattered by Erion's attack that hit the Magic King relatively hard. There was a massive wall of flas and smoke that dwarfed the city with a massive dragon hovering above it, a sight so terrifying that even the Fairy Tail mages were unsettled by it.
Laxus who was fighting off soldiers looked up at Erion with a nervous look.
"G-Godamn..." He said, "That's not good."
The attack was so devastating that even Irene took notice.
She looked up, "Tch..." She said, "That boy of mine....getting ahead of himself. Well, not like I care too much what happens to August. I doubt that attack would even severely damage him. It might keep him down for a few minutes, though..."
"Oi!" Natsu said as he jumped above her, "Pay attention!!"
"Natsu, don't rush in!" Gray exclaid
Irene waved her staff without looking at him and caused a massive explosion of wind that hit Natsu hard, sending him crashing to the ground.
"Agghh!!!" He shouted in pain
Gray lunged at her, his hands in an Ice Make gesture, "Dammit!" He said
Irene then planted her staff on the ground, causing a shockwave that pushed him away towards a wall.
"Gray!" Lucy exclaid as she ran towards Irene
She swung her whip towards the shield, hoping for a good hit in.
Irene snapped her fingers, causing the whip to jerk upwards.
"W-What?!" Lucy exclaid
"You have guts, running at head-on, girl." Irene said with a slight smile, "But it's futile."
Irene pointed her staff at her and created a shockwave that hit Lucy hard and sent her crashing to the ground.
"Aghh!" She shouted in pain
"The only reason I'll go easy on you is that I'm positive that Jason is fond of you." Irene said as Lucy slowly got to her knees
Lucy looked at her, "Jason?" She managed
Irene looked down, "Despite what this looks like, I do care about him." She said softly, "Jason was ant to be mine, my husband. I bore his child and for what? For him to turn against ? We could've had a good life! Raising that boy of ours together!!"
As she said this, her magic power began to rise, emitting a powerful scarlet aura. It was beginning to shake the ground violently as she bit her lip in frustration.
Natsu got to his feet, "Damn!" He said, "She's strong! Gray! Fuck this, we might have to use it!"
Gray patted dust off his shirt as he nodded, "Yea...." He said, "I'll go first, then you hit her with yours!"
"Yea!" Natsu said as he readied a stance
"Wait, guys!" Lucy exclaid
"Silence." Irene commanded
She waved her staff, sending a massive wave of magic power which hit both Gray and Natsu first, forcing them to the ground.
"Gahh!" They both shouted in unison
"Guys!" Lucy shouted as she was pushed back by the wave of magic power
Irene gave them both a glare, "Your God Slayer elents will not work on ." She growled, "I shall strip your flesh from your bones!"
Before she could do anything else, she dodged a sword slice that was sent at her from above.
Lucy looked up to see Erza descending from above, "E-Erza!" She said with a smile
Erza landed in front of Natsu and Gray, "Don't worry, I'm here!" She said as she readied her sword, "Gray, Natsu! Get up!"
Irene looked at Erza, "If it isn't my little girl." She said sarcastically, "It's a real sha we have to fight like this, Erza."
Erza gave her a serious glare, "Shut up." She said, "You're the enemy. It doesn't matter what our biological relation is. I'll cut you down!"
Irene chuckled, "You really share my strong conviction." She said, "I'm sorry dear, but I feel the sa way. Now, at the very least. I'll-"
Suddenly, the atmosphere changed drastically to that of a dark and chilly one. This took Irene by surprise as she widened her eyes and looked around her.
Erza and the others were also caught by surprise.
"It got colder...." Gray said as he slowly got up, "What the hell...am I shivering?"
"You? An ice mage?" Natsu said as he shivered, "That's fucking weird..."
"What is this...?" Lucy said
"What is this feeling?" Erza said as she looked at Irene, "Is this your doing?"
Irene shook her head, "N-No...." She said, "I recognize this feeling....No...It can't be....It's-"
The ground shook as the space around them began to distort.
"Dragon Queen....." A loud and ominous distorted voice bellowed around them, "Your presence in this world has gone too long without punishnt."
Irene began to sweat and tremble the mont she heard the voice, almost as she knew who it belonged to. Erza noticed this and widened her eyes to see the emotion on her mother's face.
It was Fear. Irene was afraid.
"N-NO!" Irene said as she took a step back, "Not like this!! Not now!!"
"Acnologia has been sealed." The voice said, "Soone must be punished for it. I have made my choice. The seals are still in place, however, so the other one will not descend yet."
Suddenly, massive cracks appeared in the air next to Irene as massive gusts of wind emitted from them.
"What the hell is that?!" Natsu exclaid as he collapsed to his knees, "W-Why the hell do I feel sick to my stomach!?"
"Whose voice is that?!" Gray shouted as he covered his ears, "It's painful to hear it!!"
Lucy collapsed on her knees, covering her mouth as she winced in pain.
Without warning, a massive hand made out of purple magic power erupted from the cracks, almost as it had punched a hole through space itself. It grasped Irene firmly as the Scarlet Despair desperately tried to free herself from it.
"No!" She yelled, "W-Wait!! Why?! Why ?! After all this ti!! You let walk this world without consequence!!! M-My lord!!!"
"Silence." The voice got louder, "Would you rather take the boy? Bla the others for this choice, Dragon Queen. I have spoken and decided. You two have been sentenced to banishnt. This foolish War is at an end, I have given my warning to The Black Wizard. He risked bringing nothing but despair and destruction to the balance I had set long ago. Punishnt is warranted."
Irene widened her eyes, "Not my son...." She said softly, "P-Please!"
"Very well." The voice said
Suddenly Irene was pulled by the purple spectral hand into the hole in the space and almost imdiately, the hole closed up, resulting in a powerful shockwave.
Erza was staggered by the shockwave, "W-What just happened?" She said as she stared at the empty spot where Irene stood
The atmosphere reverted to normal, leaving nothing but an ominous feeling of dread.
Back to where Jason and Zeref were, the Black Wizard dodged a sword slice and jumped back a couple of feet from Jason.
"What was that?" He said while frowning, "Irene's magic power disappeared....and that other feeling.....No....it can't be....."
Jason readied a stance, "Focus on , asshole." He said seriously, "Keep your head in the ga."
Zeref ignored him as he looked to the side. This bothered Jason a bit but before he could do anything else, he heard a loud static in the back of his head.
He winced, "What?" He muttered
"Listen." A voice suddenly said in his mind, "We don't have much ti, Jason."
"What?" Jason thought to himself, "Who said that?"
"Doesn't matter." He said, "We made a deal. I think it's ti for us to act. I will activate the contract, Jason. He has acted. And if you don't kill The Black Wizard within the next few minutes, the war will end abruptly."
"What the hell are you saying?" Jason thought, "Isn't that a good thing?"
"Yes, but it'll displease The Goddess of War and she's not soone I wanna piss off!" The voice said, "Just listen. I'll grant you my power before the other guy gets his claws on Zeref."
"Prepare yourself!!"
