(Third Person POV)
[Magnolia, Fiore]
Inside the Fairy Tail Guild Hall, Makarov sat on a chair, looking up at a projection of a screen as he had his arms crossed.
"Warren." Makarov said, "What is Mira's location?"
Warren, who was in front of the screen with his fingers gestured in the telepathy gesture, looked back at him.
"She's almost at the Northern front, Master." He said, "From what I hear, the battle is about to start."
Makarov nodded, "Good." He said, "I hope she gets there safely."
As he said that, the doors of the guild opened. Makarov turned around to see a lone man at the doorway, silhouetted by the sunlight that shone through.
Almost imdiately, Makarov felt an imnse magic power coming from the man, surprised that he didn't feel it prior to this.
"Who..." He said as he stood up
"Grettings." The man took a step forward, "So this is the Fairy Tail guild, eh? Awfully empty.."
Warren widened his eyes, "H-How did he make it here?!" He exclaid, "My radar didn't pick up any signatures!!"
Makarov watched as the man walked to the side, being able to see him clearly now. He was a tall middle-aged man wearing a suit and gloves on his hands. He had a scruffy beard and a skull tattoo on his forehead.
This was Jacob Lessio, one of the Spriggan 12.
"Hm..." Jacob said as he buttoned his suit jacket, "Stealth is one of my specialties. I cannot be picked up by any sort of magic radar."
Makarov scowled, "Who are you?" He demanded
"?" Jacob said, "Oh, It seems I didn't actually introduce myself..."
He walked up to a table and sat down, crossing his legs as he looked at Makarov with a slight, yet arrogant, smile.
"I am Jacob Lessio." Jacob continued, "I am one of the Spriggan 12 that serves under the Emperor of Alvarez. His Majesty has given my orders. To reach Fairy Tail and retrieve Fairy Heart."
Makarov's expression shifted to a worried one, sothing that Jacob noticed imdiately. The Assassin of The Alvarez Empire was able to tell right away that Makarov was going to hide information from him. Sothing that was crucial to his mission.
"M-Master...." Warren said, "He's a Shield.....None of us, aside from you, can fight him..."
Makarov nodded, "I am aware."
Jacob chuckled, "I have no intention of fighting." He said, "I simply want to finish my mission. Hand over Fairy Heart and we can avoid bloodshed. You see, I've been spending too much ti with the Old Man. I have developed quite a strong distaste for needless killing quite recently..."
Makarov shook his head, "That will not happen." He said, "I will not hand over Fairy Heart to anyone, regardless of the consequences. Sorry, Young Man, you'll have to shed so blood. Especially mine...."
Makarov began to release a yellow aura of his magic power, shaking the guildhall.
Warren widened his eyes, "M-Master...." He said
Jacob smiled, "Is that so....?" He said as he grabbed a glass, "Here I wanted to have a little drink...I did walk a long distance to get here...."
"Children." Makarov said, "Get behind ..."
The mbers of Fairy Tail scurried to get behind Makarov, standing behind Warren as Makarov engulfed his palm in light. He was ready to engage Jacob in battle.
Jacob looked at him, "You have no hopes in beating ." He warned, "I am known as The Assassin. Nobody has survived an encounter with whenever I was in a mission. I was more than willing to make an exception, but if you insist, you won't live to see tomorrow..."
Jacob gave Makarov a serious glare, releasing his magic power, shaking the guild hall even more than what Makarov was doing. Everyone that was behind Makarov began to tremble in nervousness, feeling the danger of Jacob's aura. They knew how powerful he was and that Makarov might have an issue in fighting him.
Suddenly, the roof exploded with flas as Natsu barreled through.
"GRAMPS!!!" He yelled
Everyone looked up with shock, Jacob included and watched as Natsu crashed down on a bunch of tables.
Through the hole, Lucy and Happy fell through.
"You idiot!!" Lucy exclaid, "Why'd you do that!?"
"Natsu, the door was wide open!" Happy said
Makarov looked at this with a shocked face, "Natsu!" He said, "You guys...."
Natsu then stood up, blowing the broken table pieces away.
"Ahh!!" He said as he looked at Jacob
"And who is this?" Jacob said
Natsu scowled, "You're the Shield of Spriggan?!" He said, "Jason was right! You were making a beeline for Gramps!"
Lucy nodded as she landed next to Makarov, "Yea..." She said, "I'm glad we made it in ti..."
Makarov looked at her, "Lucy!" He said, "What's the aning of this?"
Happy floated above him, "Jason said there was a chance for Magnolia to be invaded." He said, "He told us to help."
Jacob stood up from his seat, "It appears my mission won't be accomplished with you lot in my way." He said pulling one of his gloves down, "I'm afraid I have no choice...I have to dispatch you..."
Natsu smirked, "Oh?" He said, "You wanna fight??? Well bring it then!!"
"I'm getting fired up!!"
