(Jason's POV)
"What does that have to do with anything?" I asked, "Why are you saying this?"
I am not surprised, for so reason, that Mavis figured out that. I an, she's quite smart. The girl form my world, the one that I dated while I was working with my friend Jin, she had gotten pregnant with our child but ended up having a miscarriage.
That's why I took Kagura's miscarriage so hard back then. Why I felt an unimaginable rage that I wanted to kill Zancrow so badly.
Mavis walked up to and patted my cheek, "I know, Jason." She said, "I know that you don't want your child to be hurt. You don't want to lose your son now that he was born. There were two instances where the child couldn't even make it to this world and now that this one did, he was put in this situation. It must be terrible, Jason. I can't imagine what you must be feeling right now..."
I took a step back, "I-I..." my voice cracked
"But don't worry, Jason." Mavis said, "I give you my word. I won't let anything happen to your son. I am sorry that I couldn't do anything to protect him earlier. I froze, I didn't know what to do....it's my fault it had co to this..."
I looked at her, "No, Mavis..." I said softly, "It's not..."
She grabbed my hand, "Jason." She said, "I've said this before already; I love you. I'll do anything for you, really, I'm serious. You're doing all this for , this whole war. How do you think that makes feel? You're not just any person to , you're the man who set free. There's a reason why I feel like this."
She then turned to see Erion, sleeping.
"Mavis..." I said
"I can't let you go to battle worrying about your son." She said, "I promise you, Jason. I'll take care of him, I'll do everything in my power to keep him safe."
"You don't have to do that, Mavis." I said, "I an it."
She looked at and gave a smile, "Like you have to do any of this?" She said, "I insist."
I sighed, "Okay." I said, "W-Whatever you say....but...can we not ntion what you said to anyone?"
She patted my cheek again, "Sure." She said with a warm smile, "I won't bring it up. But when you're ready to speak about it, I'll be there, okay? I cannot allow you to bottle that kind of pain inside."
I couldn't help but feel guilty. I had this amazing woman in front of treating like this. Why? Why did I feel guilty? Oh yea, I was keeping a secret from her. The fact that her child is our enemy. Why was I thinking about that right now? Maybe because we were discussing my children? I really don't know. I had a lot of things on my mind right now, it was hard to focus.
Right now, all that mattered was that Erion was okay. And so far, it seems that it's the case. I also didn't want to think about my first child. I really don't want to rember that pain, not at a ti like this.
"Okay." I said softly, "Thank you, Mavis."
She pulled in for a kiss, wrapping her arms around as I instinctively held her waist. As we kissed, I felt her pressing tightly against , her warmth combining with mine. It felt amazing, her tongue wrapping around mine as we kissed. I couldn't help but feel extrely fortunate at this mont.
She then pulled back after almost a minute of kissing, "Oh..." She said, "I am really attracted to you, right now. But we must refrain from having sex, don't you think?"
I nodded, "Y-Yea..." I said as she stepped back, "We should..."
She then walked over to Erion and patted his cheek as she gave him a warm and motherly smile. She looked really beautiful, standing over my son like that.
"Oh and one more thing, Jason." She said looking over at , "I don't wanna seem selfish and say that I'm jealous of you having sex with all the other won on the ship, but if you're going to do it, make it quick. We're in war, rember?"
I nodded, "Y-Yea.." I said
"And as for Lucy...." She said, "We're not going to have a problem with her? I can tell its a bit awkward with her."
I raised an eyebrow, "What do you an?" I asked
"I don't mind sharing you, Jason." She said, "As long as you can wholeheartedly say that we're each other's. But can she say the sa?"
"I...." I said, "I don't know...."
"Speak to her." She said, "Make it clear."
"O-Okay.." I said as I rubbed my hair, "W-Wait....we're together?"
She turned to look at , "Hm?" She asked
"You and I..." I said, "Are we....together?"
She smiled at , "If you want to, we could be." She said, "But I say we should wait until all of this is over and we'll talk about it."
I nodded, "Okay..." I said
"You did say everything you do is for , right?" She said while blushing, "Doesn't that an you love too?"
I blinked, "Uhm..." I said
My hear skipped a beat. I didn't know how to respond to that, I was at a loss for words. Did I? I an, I do feel strongly about her. I care a lot for Mavis, but I am not sure what to say to that. What do I truly feel about her?
Mavis chuckled, "I guess you need more ti." She said, "That's fine. I know these are serious tis, so let's focus on the matter at hand. I'll go to the briefing room and check in on Makarov and the rest."
I nodded, "Okay..." I said
She then turned around and walked away, giving a smile.
I watched as she walked, her nice and round ass bouncing up and down. She was a really fine woman, that one.
As she walked out, I let out a sigh.
"Man...." I said, "What the hell..."
"Sir." Felicity's voice said from the intercom
"Yea?" I said
"The prisoner wishes to speak to you." She said
I raised an eyebrow, "Is that so?" I said,
"Okay then."
