(Jason's POV)
"This should do the trick..." I said as I looked inside a barrier where Brandish sat in a bed
We were in the holding cells inside the ship. Felicity had a magic nullifier barrier powered by a powerful lacrima that surrounded a cell where Brandish was at.
She sat on the bed, holding her knees as she looked at with a serious face. She wasn't wearing anything but her usual bikini outfit or whatever you wanna call it.
"You're gonna keep here?" She said, "How long do you think it's gonna hold ? And without the handcuffs too. Such a foolish thing to do...."
I shrugged, "You ain't stupid." I said, "You know this barrier is nullifying your magic, you can't use it. You're harmless here."
She looked at , "I won't be kept here for long." She said with a serious glare, "I will get out. And when I do, I'll kill you."
I chuckled, "Doubt that." I said, "Anyways, there's a blanket there if you get cold. I'll co later and give you so food and water. Ain't gonna starve you, it'll pretty cruel of ."
"Hmph." She scoffed
I was gonna say sothing when I heard footsteps behind .
"Jason." I turned to see Lucy walking up to
She was holding Erion in her arms, he was awake and looking at .
I smiled, "Hey buddy." I said as Lucy reached , "You're up already?"
Erion rely blinked as he looked at .
"He got bigger." Lucy said with a concerned face
She was right, he looked a bit bigger than before. He was definitely growing fast, it was going to be a concern, considering his condition. From the looks of it, he doesn't seem to be in pain, so I don't have to give him the tonic. He was wrapped in the enchanted blanket so if his body is overheating, the blanket will cool him down.
I nodded, "Yea." I said as I took him from Lucy's arm, "Co here, buddy. Oh, look at you, growing so fast."
As I held him in my arms, he moved his head to look behind . I turned around and watched as he kept his gaze at Brandish, who was inside the cell, looking at us silently.
"What's wrong?" I asked him
There was an odd feeling that i was getting from him right now. He was looking at Brandish with a serious face, his eyes locked on her like a predator locking onto it's prey.
Lucy stepped forward, "Erion-kun?"
Erion then blinked and looked back up at .
"Hm..." I said, "What is it?"
He didn't react to the question, he just stared at . There was sothing odd about this, I felt like he was trying to say sothing but just couldn't communicate properly.
He then looked back at Brandish, staring at her seriously without much of a change of expression.
"He's acting strange, isn't he?" Lucy said, "It's a bit scary."
"So that's Irene-sama's son." Brandish said, "Striking resemblance."
Lucy looked at her, "You know the mother?"
Brandish looked at Lucy with a serious scowl.
"Who doesn't?" She said, "Everyone in The Alvarez Empire knows who Irene Belserion is; The Scarlet Despair. She's the strongest female mber of The Spriggan 12."
Lucy widened her eyes, "S-Stronger than you?"
I nodded, "Yea." I said, "She's no joke."
Lucy then looked at , "A-And you..." She said, "You slept with her??"
I frowned, "Long story." I said, "I don't wanna get into it."
"Hm.." She said, "Anyways.....Brandish, is it? There's sothing you wanna say to ?"
Brandish looked at Lucy, "Huh?" She said, "What are you talking about?"
"Well, Jason said..." Lucy started
"She's a Heartfilia." I told Brandish, "Take it from there."
I then turned around and began to walk away, holding Erion in my arms. I was going to leave them alone so that Brandish tells Lucy the whole story of their mothers.

"You knew?" Lucy asked , "You knew and didn't bother to tell ?!"
It was about an hour later after Brandish and Lucy were talking about their connected history. Brandish told her about what happened with her mother and Lucy's mother. Aquarius was even summoned to tell the full truth of what happened.
After Layla opened the gates with 11 keys and whatnot, she was sick cause she used her lifeforce and eventually passed away. Brandish's mother, Grammi was heartbroken and blad herself for it and Zoldeo killed her and later went on to state that Layla had Grammi killed.
The usual thing.
I was sitting down on a chair, holding Erion in my arms, who was rely leaning on as he looked at Lucy.
"Yea, I knew." I said
Lucy had a frown on her face, I just knew there was a lot of emotions in her head right now, so many thoughts, so many questions.
"W-Why didn't you say anything?" She said softly, "And how did you know?"
I rubbed my neck, "I don't have ti to discuss this, Lucy." I said, "Really, I don't. I got other major things to worry about. And so do you, we're in War. Not only that, Natsu still hasn't recovered from his injuries and we still don't know what happened with him and Zeref."
She stood up from her seat, "I don't care, Jason!!" She yelled, "I.....I don't know what to think of you right now! It's....It's like you're distancing yourself on purpose, not telling us the whole story! Why are you doing this?!"
I sighed, "Lucy, please." I said, "Not now."
She walked up to , "Jason." She said, "This is not the ti to hold secrets. We're at War. Any crucial information will be more than valuable for all of us. Please, just tell what you're hiding."
I was about to say sothing when I heard Erion grumble.
"uuuu...." he said
I looked at him with a surprised face, this was the first ti I heard him make a noise other than crying and roaring in his dragon form.
"eh?" I said
Erion was pointing up at the ceiling, "Uuuu...." he said
He wasn't speaking, but he was attempting to communicate. Lucy looked up at the ceiling where he was pointing at.
"Uhm, Erion-kun?" She said, "W-What's wrong?"
"Aaaaaa..." Erion said lifting his tiny arms outwards as he looked at Lucy with a concerned face, "Uuuuu....."
I sensed a strange uneased feeling from him. It's as if he was genuinely concerned about sothing. I can only assu his attempt at communicating was his display of advanced intelligence at a re 2 days old.
"What is it, buddy?" I asked, "What's wrong?"
He looked up at , "Aaaaa..." he said as he pointed at , "Uuuu....Aaaaa....."
He was trying to say sothing, I could feel it. I just didn't know what he was trying to say.
"Hm..." I said,
"At least you're feeling well."
