"What's with the gloomy faces?" I said aloud

I was in the Fairy Tail guildhall, there was a tense feeling in the air right now. All of them were gathered here today, even the one guy I didn't expect to be there; Gildarts. Makarov had sent word to , telling to go there due to so sort of ergency.

I saw a bunch of faces turned to look at with serious faces; Lucy, Gray, Erza, Laxus, Juvia, even Natsu had sowhat serious faces. There was serious tension right now and it kinda made a bit nervous.

"No, seriously..." I said, "What's the deal?"

Gray walked up to , "Where have you been the past couple of days?" He asked seriously

I raised an eyebrow, "Uh..." I said, "Why?"

Laxus took a step forward, "Answer the question." He said coldly, "Now."

"Whoa, pump the brakes there, hotshot." I said, "I know you're feeling a bit confident due to your performance during our fight, but if you want to taste dirt, you ought to keep that tone..."

He gave a serious glare, "Now's not the ti for jokes.." He said

"I ain't telling you where I've been." I said

It was a couple of days since the incident with Avatar, Hades, and Silver. I had used Void Prison to capture both Hades and Silver, keeping them contained and preventing any sort of issues in the future. It was unnaturally easy and I had a bad feeling due to it, so I'll keep them alive in case there's so sort of contingency on their part.

That said, I wasn't going to just tell these guys that. Oh no, it's between Jellal and . Igora too, but she's not here with today. She went to take care of sothing with Cri Sorciere; the remnants of Avatar.

I was going with them but the old man insisted that I et with them.

"You better start talking." Gildarts walked up, "We're serious."

I raised an eyebrow, "Is that so?" I said, "Before things get out of hand, why doesn't anyone explain to what the fuck is going on here?"

Lucy walked up to , "Jason..." She said softly, "Just tell us you didn't have anything to do with it?"

"With what?" I said, "You all call here to gang up on with so questions? No explanation? Fuck all that."

I turned around and began to walk away when I felt soone's arm on my shoulder. I turned to see Gray was the one who stepped up.

"Jason." He said, "Nobody is gonna let you leave."

I gritted my teeth as I gave him a serious scowl, "This joke isn't funny." I said seriously, "Get your fucking hands off , Gray. Or I'll rip it off."

"Jason, calm down, son." I heard Makarov said as he walked up, "Gray, stand down."

Gray took a step back without saying a word.

I looked at the old man, "What's the deal, Makarov?" I asked him, "What's everyone so worked up about?"

He looked at , "There was an incident with the Council." He said, "And with the recent threats we've been receiving from Alvarez, everyone has been on edge..."

I shrugged, "And that relates to , how?" I asked

"Jason." He said seriously, "Soone snuck into the Council and disabled Etherion, the Magic Council's strongest weapon. And there's rumors of a spy that infiltrated the country not too long ago."

I raised an eyebrow, "Oh..." I said, "I see. I get it now. So since Alvarez has been obsessed with , all of you think it's , huh? And the fact I'm a bit defensive about my business, which is only my fucking business, none of yours, it solidifies that suspicion. Fucking magnificent."

Makarov sighed, "We don't think it's you, Jason." He said, "I just think it's a bit convenient that you've been missing around the sa ti it happened, that's all. And Alvarez has been explicit about their desire to have you among their ranks. We're only worried, son."

"Shut the fuck up." I said with an annoyed tone, "And what? If I don't give you an answer you like, you're gonna what? Jump ?"

"That's one scenario." Laxus said

"Well, feel free to do so." I said

"Where have you been?" Makarov asked

"Where's Mavis?" I said looking around, "Does she know about this?"

"The First mustn't be bothered about this." He said, "I am Master. I do the decisions here."

I looked down at him, "Listen here, old man." I said, "I'm only gonna say this once. I. Am. Not. Anyone's. Dog. Got that?"

I crouched down to get to his eye level, giving him a serious glare.

"Wanna know where I've been?" I continued, "In the woods, minding my own business, building weapons of my liking. Want to show you one?"

I raised my hand and summoned one of my trick weapons.

"War Magic: Whirligig Saw."

I summoned a massive iron pole that had two massive rotating saws at the end of it. It was one of the first projects that I started in Edolas. It had two forms, an iron club as a one-hander while the massive saw wheel rested on my back. The other was the two-hander form, I connect the club with the saw wheel and it begins to rotate when I swing it, making it a really cool fucking weaon. I vividly rember using this weapon in Bloodborne against Ludwing The Holy Blade and Lady Maria. One of my favorite weapons that I was excited to create.

Makarov looked at the weapon, "Okay..." He said

I inched closer to his face, "Yea." I said, "I'm not a mber of your guild, so what I do is none of your fucking business, old man. Yea, I go out and have sex with won, It's a reputation you guys already know of. But when I don't, I'm either fighting off annoying dark mages or minding my own business, crafting weapons."

I straightened up as I leaned the Whirligig on my shoulder looking at everyone.

"I'm disappointed in you lot." I said, "Thinking so low of . I don't give two shits about Alvarez, those fuckers can get bent for all I care. Yea, they want Lun Histoire, so fucking what? They won't get it."

Erza stepped forward, "Jason..." She said, "You have to understand-"

"Nothing." I cut her off, "Yea, boo-hoo, the Council got Etherion disabled. Their only defense against an empire that strong. Not much of a power if you need only one weapon to fight off your enemies. Listen here, I never, and I an never, have done anything to warrant the suspicion of being a traitor or a threat to the country. I helped your asses twice, not once, but twice."

They all kept quiet, shifting around a bit in silence.

"I understand you're concerned." I continued, "It's a bit tense nowadays, I get it. But if Alvarez does invade or declare war, I'll be here, on your side. You really think I'll let them do as they please, oh no, I got beef with them too."

I then turned around and walked away, leaving them in their silence.

A couple of minutes later, I was walking down the street with an annoyed look on my face.

I then felt a familiar presence behind .

I stopped to see Mavis sitting on a bench, giving a slight smile.

I raised an eyebrow, "You were here?" I asked

She nodded, "Yep." She said, "I told Makarov that there was nothing to worry about with you."

"You knew about that?" I said, "What were they thinking of doing? Attacking ? Co on Mavis, they know better than that."

She stood up and walked up to , "They're just concerned, Jason." She said, "The tensions between Alvarez and Fiore, they've been going on for a while..."

"Yea, I know." I said, "I've been in contact with them....Man, Mavis, I don't care about them. And certainly not Zeref."

She tilted her head with a confused face, "What do you an, Zeref?" She asked

I sighed, "Oh boy." I said, "I should've ntioned that...."

"Mavis, Zeref is Emperor Spriggan..."
