(Jason's POV)
I was sitting on a log, by a river, looking up at the cloudy sky. It has been a couple of days after the whole ordeal with Ophiuchus.
It took a bit to get over the whole serum thing. Right now, I wanted to be alone for the ti being.
Yukino had told to visit her whenever I wished. I might pay her a visit soon. But for now, I'd have to keep an eye out for that Eclipse darkness.
For so reason, sothing told that this whole ordeal might beco bigger than I originally thought. Maybe I should stay alert for anything out of the ordinary.
There's also the attackers from back then, which was an even odder situation. Who the hell would even think about attacking ? I doubt it was Grimoire Heart, which ans that another party has decided to get involved with .
"Hm..." I said, "I wonder who would try to ss with .."
Then, the Blue Screen appeared.
"ALERT: ECLIPSE DARKNESS DETECTED IN YOUR BODY."
I raised an eyebrow, "What?" I said
"NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS WILL BE TAKEN."
I then felt my body pulsate rapidly. I stood up from the log and clutched my stomach as I felt a sharp pain coming from it.
"Wh-What the hell?" I grunted
"ECLIPSE CORRUPTION SHALL BE STALLED. SEVERAL MAGICAL PROPERTIES DETECTED. GRAVITY MAGIC TYPE A AND B PREPARING FOR RGING."
I then felt as an aura was released from my body. My head began to burn up as a splitting headache forced to the ground.
"Aghhhh!!!" I yelled out in pain
"ECLIPSE DARKNESS, GRAVITY MAGIC TYPE A AND GRAVITY MAGIC TYPE B, HAVE BEEN SUCCESSFULLY RGED."
I felt as a massive pressure of gravity forced to the ground, the weight of it was heavy enough to shatter the ground. I then felt as if sothing ca out of my mouth.
I buckled over as I threw up so sort of liquid on the ground. I looked at it, it was black and oily. The sll it gave off was like sulfur, it was a ridiculous stench.
"Gahh!!!!" I yelled out as I tried to stand back up
"ALERT: NEW GOD SLAYER MAGIC ATTAINED DUE TO MUTATION."
As I straightened up, I looked at the screen as it glowed. My vision was a bit blurry due to throwing up, but the pulsating had stopped and the headache had stopped.
"W-What?" I said, "What are you talking about?"
"GRAVITY GOD SLAYER MAGIC OBTAINED. CLICK ON IT TO LEARN MORE."
I looked on the screen and clicked on the magic.
It read:
Gravity God Slayer Magic: Control and manipulate gravity. Any and all gravity-related attacks are rendered useless against you.
It is noted that this is not a traditional form of God Slayer magic, as it is a makeshift Slayer magic created due to the mutation of the Eclipse Darkness and two types of gravity magic properties obtained from bedding two won with gravity magic. It has its flaws but due to the nature of the magic, the outright simplicity can be turned into a complex but incredible power.
What the hell....
"Are you serious?" I said as I panted
I had a nasty taste in my mouth. It's as if I had eaten so rotten eggs and downed a gallon of expired milk.
"I DID WARN YOU. YOU ARE FORTUNATE YOU HAD TAKEN THE PROPERTIES OF KAGURA MIKAZUCHI AND LIBRA FROM HAVING SEX WITH THEM. IF NOT FOR THAT, THE ECLIPSE MIGHT'VE CORRUPTED YOU."
I raised an eyebrow, "I thought I was immune to that." I said, "The darkness was black, shouldn't I be able to eat it without any adverse effects???"
"YOUR BLACK GOD SLAYER MAGIC ISN'T FULLY COMPLETE. YOU CANNOT HASTILY DEVOUR THINGS THAT HAVE GRAVE EFFECTS NORMALLY. THERE ARE CERTAIN BLACK THINGS THAT WOULD NORMALLY KILL A HUMAN. KEEP THAT IN MIND IN THE FUTURE. IF YOU WISH TO DEVOUR MORE ECLIPSE DARKNESS, THINK ABOUT WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF I CAN'T FORCE IT TO MUTATE YOUR MAGIC."
I wiped my mouth, "I see." I said, "I guess that makes sense.....I can't just go and eat Zeref's magic right off the bat, huh?"
"THAT IS THE LAST THING I SUGGEST YOU GO AND DO. THE CURSE OF ANKHSERAM IS NOT SOTHING TO TRIFLE WITH."
"Yea, but it's black, isn't it?" I said, "I can devour anything that is black."
"YOU CAN DEVOUR IT BUT THE EFFECTS WILL BE DIRE."
"I see." I said, "Oh well. It's not like I'll be in a conflict with him any ti soon."
"I WOULDN'T GET TOO COMFORTABLE WITH THAT."
I raised an eyebrow, "Huh?"
"IT IS ABOUT TI I WARN YOU."
Warn ? About what? What is it talking about now?
"YOU HAVE ALREADY MADE CONTACT WITH A MBER OF THE ALVAREZ EMPIRE."
