(Jason's POV)
"So." I said, "You sure we're in the right place?"
I asked Aquarius who was floating next to . She was in her regular form, her lower-half was that of a fish's as usual.
She looked at and nodded, "Yes." she said, "The King told it'll happen here."
We were in the middle of nowhere, traveled on foot for miles. Yukino and Lucy accompanied to where Aquarius said there would be an Eclipse darkness leak or sothing of that nature. I didn't understand what she ant by Eclipse darkness or whatnot. All I know is that that type of stuff was affecting the Celestial Spirits in so kind of negative way and the Celestial Spirit King didn't want that to continue.
Lucy walked up to Aquarius, "Are you okay?" She asked, "You've been in this world for a long ti without summoned by a key."
Aquarius nodded, "Don't worry about ." She told her, "All we have to worry about is that spot right there."
She pointed to a small opening down the hill we stood at. I saw a small speck of black in the middle of the air, nothing too peculiar. Or at least that's what soone would normally think. I could sense an odd magic power coming from that small speck, even from up here.
"So that's it, huh?" I said, "That's what I gotta eat?"
Yukino walked up to , "E-Eat?" She asked, "What do you an?"
Aquarius looked at us, "Yukino, Lucy, whatever you do, keep your keys in your pockets." She said, "I am safe because I carry one of the King's charms, but if you get any of your keys close to that thing, there's a chance it'll corrupt them."
Lucy looked at her with a concerned face, "What're you talking about?" She asked
Aquarius scowled, "This is why I didn't want you to accompany us." She growled, "If you risk the others with your stupidity, I won't forgive you, little girl!"
"They're my keys and my Spirits!" Lucy exclaid, "I have to help soway!"
I raised my hand, "Take it easy, both of you." I said, "Aquarius, you want to eat that, right?"
"What do you an, eat?" Lucy asked
"Yes, Jason." Aquarius said, "But wait until it grows bigger. When it becos rampant, that's when it's best for you to do it. It'll leak to it's full potential and you can contain it by devouring it."
I nodded, "Got it."
"Jason." I heard Lucy say, "Why would you eat that?"
I shrugged, "It's Black."
"What?" She said
"I'll explain." Aquarius said, "Like I told Jason, after our session, The Celestial Spirit King wanted his help because he's the only one that can properly contain the Eclipse darkness. Because he's the Black God Slayer, Jason can devour the darkness without any serious consequences."
I nodded, "yea." I said, "Supposedly, but we'll find out."
"Yes." Aquarius said, "If we can do that with multiple leaks, the risk of the Celestial Spirit World being affected will be minimized."
"Why is Jason the only one that can do it?" Yukino asked
"He's the Black God Slayer." Aquarius said, "I don't know how his power works exactly, but sothing tells that the King does. The Eclipsed God..maybe....."
I looked at her, "Eclipsed God?"
"I don't know the details." She said, "But the Celestial Spirit World is linked to the Eclipsed God. And the Eclipsed God is sowhat linked to the Founder of Darkness. I don't know how any of this works. Even Spirits like myself are prohibited from learning more than we should."
Eclipsed God and Founder of Darkness. What the hell is she going on about? We're delving into pantheons of this world? All I know is Ankhseram; the god that cursed Zeref. Other than that, I have no clue of any other god. Which is weird because God Slayer Magic is a thing in this world. The closest things to gods that I am aware of are the Dragon Gods that are in Guiltina.
Suddenly, I felt a massive surge of dark magic power.
"Jason!" Aquarius exclaid
I looked down to see the black speck turned into a massive ball of dark energy, letting out a massive wave of air.
"That it?" I asked
"Yes!" Aquarius said, "Do it now!"
I nodded, "Okay." I said
I jumped down the hill and landed in front of the sphere of rampant dark magic power. I felt weird being so close to it, it sent a slight chill down my spine.
"Hm." I said as I placed my hand on it, "You're quite the power."
I then grabbed it and forced it towards my mouth, eating the magic power. As it went down my throat and towards my stomach, I felt a strange sensation. It felt cold.....but hot at the sa ti....
I then sucked the rest of the black and dark energy into my mouth as my entire body slightly shook a bit.
"Whoa.." I said as I fully ate the entirety of the magic power
I then felt my body pulsate a couple of tis. My blood felt like it was freezing and boiling at the sa ti, it was hard to explain. My head was light montarily as my entire boy felt like it was sinking to the ground.
"What the hell was that?" i said
Then, the Blue Screen appeared.
"ALERT: YOU HAVE EATEN ECLIPSE DARKNESS."
"Yea." I said
"THERE WILL BE AFTER-EFFECTS IF YOU CONTINUE TO DO THIS."
"Okay." I said
I then felt as the others ran down the hill towards .
"Jason!" Lucy said, "Are you okay?"
I nodded, "I'm fine." I said, "So that was Eclipse darkness huh?"
Aquarius went up to , "You're feeling okay?"
"Yea." I said, "It felt weird, not gonna lie."
She sighed, "That's good." She said, "I'll return to my world and will let the King know. I'll appear to you again when there's another leak to contain."
I nodded, "fine then."
She then disappeared in an instant.
Lucy looked at the spot where she was, "She's gone, just like that." She said
Yukino spoke up, "I guess we can return ho now, for the ti being." She said
Lucy nodded, "I'll head back to Magnolia." She said looking at
I shrugged, "Go ahead." I said, "I'll go and do sothing I need to do."
Before I began to walk away, Yukino held my arm.
"Wait." She said, "Master Minerva wanted to see you and speak to you about a job. I think you should go back to Gazania."
I nodded, "Okay then."
Lucy then sighed, "Okay then." She said, "I'll see you guys later, take care."
We watched as Lucy began to walk away.
Yukino then pulled closer to her.
"Besides the job." She said quietly, "Soone wants to have so ti with you by herself."
I raised an eyebrow, "Who?" I asked
"Libra."
