(3rd Person POV)
"You're joking, aren't you?" Rustyrose exclaid, "Do you seriously think you're strong enough to take all 4 of us?!"
Jason, who was stretching his arms, rely gave Rustyrose a smirk.
"I kicked your ass without any issues." Jason said, "And as for you God Slayer buddy, I humiliated her. What? You didn't ask how our fight went?"
Azuma gave Jason a serious glare, "You used so underhanded tactic and a form of copy magic to replicate her Lost Magic." He said, "You're not a man to be underestimated. That, and what you did to Zancrow."
Jason sighed, "If you ntion that bastard's na again, I'll kill you." He said casually, "And like I said before, are we going to dance all at once or are you guys stepping up one by one?"
Azuma was about to speak when Cobra, the Poison Dragon Slayer, jumped down from the rocky platform he and Midnight stood on. He landed several ters away from Jason and a couple of feet away from Azuma and Rustyrose.
He gave Jason a smug smirk, "I'll take you on." He said
Azuma looked at Cobra, "Are you sure?" He asked
Cobra rolled up the sleeves from his coat as his arms began to be covered in scales, "Yea." He said as he released his magic power, "I'll deal with this guy."
Jason nodded, "Is that so?"
In an instant, Cobra lunged at Jason, swinging his arm at him.
"Poison Dragon's Claw!!!"
Swinging his hand in a clawing motion, engulfed in poison, Cobra attempted to strike at Jason who rely dodged out of the way by simply side stepping.
Jason, who was already preparing a counter, did not foresee Cobra following up his attack with another. This ti, he swung his other arm at Jason, sending a stream of poison mist from his fingertips.
"Poison Dragon's Twin Wings!!"
Jason tried to avoid the attack, but the poison mist was able to graze his arm as he tried to jump away.
"Tch...." Jason muttered under his breath
Almost imdiately, Cobra lunged at him again, this ti, kicking him in the stomach, sending him flying and crashing against the wall.
As Jason hit the wall, redy looked at him with a concerned face.
"Jason!!" She called out, "I'll help!"
She stood up, attempting to do sothing to aid Jason, but was stopped by Azuma who summoned a large wall of wooden roots in front of her.
"Do not interfere, redy." Azuma said, "After we're done with him, I'll personally deal with you, traitor."
Cobra scoffed, "Ha!" He said patting his coat, "You can deal with her already, Azuma. This guy ain't much of an iss-"
Before he could finish the sentence, he was struck in the stomach by Jason who had appeared in front of him. He had his fist digging into the dragon slayer's stomach as he gave him a calm look. Everyone, including redy, stared at this with nothing but awe and shock.
"GAhh!!!" Cobra exclaid in pain as he staggered back
Jason reared his fist back, preparing another attack.
"Surprised?" He asked him
Cobra, who despite not being able to hear Jason's thoughts, was able to react quickly enough. He jumped away from Jason and landed a couple of ters away. He then raised his arm in front of him as he glared at Jason.
Upon realizing what Cobra was intending to do, the other Kin of Purgatory imdiately covered their ears.
Cobra then snapped his finger, emitting a seriously powerful soundwave that shattered the ground beneath him. This soundwave was powerful enough to cause redy to collapse in pain as she covered her ears, desperate to stop the sound.
Jason, who was the target of the attack, was not hurt as much as intended. He took the brunt of the soundwave, only being kept still as his entire body vibrated.
"D-Damn." Jason said as he rubbed his head, "My ears are ringing...."
Cobra saw this and widened his eye, "Impossible...."
The other Kin of Purgatory were also shocked.
"That can't be!" Rustyrose exclaid, "He took that Sound Magic attack head-on without any damage???"
Azuma narrowed his eyes, "He's stronger than we accounted for..."
Jason then looked at Cobra, "Well, I suppose I can't drag this out for much longer...." He said as he rubbed his wrists, "As much as I want to play around with you, I have to end this quickly and deal with the others."
Cobra glared at him, "You think this is a joke?" He spat, "You really expect to believe you're capable of defeating so easily that you're confident you can take the other 3???"
Jason nodded, "I know I can."
Cobra then reared his head back, "I would love to see you try!!!"
"Poison Dragon's Roar!!!"
He then fired a massive stream of poison mist from his mouth at Jason with the intent to end the fight.
Suddenly, Jason appeared next to Cobra who widened his eye in surprise. Jason was covered in a crimson aura, readying a stance to attack.
"W-What?" Cobra exclaid
"You really think I would stand still and get hit by a literal poison breath?" Jason said, "You Dragon Slayers are either really stupid or really cocky."
"Obliteration Style: True Fist."
Jason punched Cobra straight to the ground, causing a massive shockwave that shattered the ground beneath them, even more than the sound attack used by Cobra. The others, redy included, couldn't believe their eyes.
"What the...." Midnight muttered under his breath, "Just what did I witness..."
Cobra was hit by a True Damage attack so powerful that it rendered him unconscious albeit only temporarily. However, this was more than enough for Jason to shift his attention away from him.
Jason then looked up at Azuma who was sweating slightly.
He gave him a serious glare, "This wasn't much of a fight." He said, "So tell ...."
"Are you next?"
