The Dark Mages start to move and start the battle. They spread and surround Ben & co from every side. But there are 2 n including their leader and a woman who don't move to attack but return to the mansion instead.
"Why'd they leave?" asks Elfman.
"Hmph, there's no need for our Guild Master and Vice-Masters to bother with you. We are enough to defeat brats like you," says a middle-aged man.
"What'd you say?" says Elfman rather angrily.
"Calm down, Elfman! This is their strategy. They want to test our strength using these guys. If these guys can defeat us, then that's good for them. But if not, then those 3 will have an easier ti to fight us because they know our power and we get tired," says Ben calmly.
Elfman gets a realization and says, "I guess you're right, sorry. A man shouldn't get taunted that easily."
"So we need to defeat them fast?" asks Mira.
"Yeah, that's the best thing to do. I have a plan, get closer to ," says Ben.
Mira & Elfman don't know what Ben is planning, but they need to believe him. So they get closer to Ben while still looking at the enemies.
"Hihihi, no matter what you're planning, it will be useless. We have 10 people while you have 4 including the cat that doesn't seem to be able to fight. It will be better for you to surrender before we hurt you," says a middle-aged woman.
"Surrender? Sorry, but I don't have that word in my dictionary," says Ben while smirking and spreading his hands.
"Hmph, arrogant brat. Attack them!" says a bearded man.
The dark mages start to move and charge their magic weapons. They have swords, spears, whips, staffs, riffles, shields, chains, and armor. They make their move and Ben also makes his moves.
"Sun Dragon's Gravity Domain!" chants Ben.
A big dark purple magic circle appears on the ground and covers everyone there. Suddenly, the Dark Mages feel a strong gravity from beneath them. It's a strong gravity that they have never felt and it makes them fall at the sa ti.
The gravity only affects the dark mages and doesn't affect Ben's group. Mira & Elfman aren't affected because they're close to Ben, so he can exclude them from his gravity targets.
"You said Bella can't fight just because she is a cat? Too bad that you're wrong, right, Bella?" asks Ben to Bella.
Bella nods and says, "Bella fight. Requip!"
A small gunslinger appears on Bella's right hand. It surprises everyone except Ben to see Bella uses Requip magic. Ben has trained her in this magic because it's very useful. She can summon her gun every ti she wants.
Bella then starts to shoot at the Dark Mages who lay on the ground. The gravity prevents them from moving so they can't dodge. But Bella's bullets also get affected and her aim is off.
It's a small problem though because she just needs to aim higher and finally hit the defenseless Dark Mages. They try to use their armor to defend themselves, but the strong gravity sses with their concentration and makes them unable to use their magic items.
Bella keeps shooting until she runs out of bullets. Now, there are only 4 of the Dark Mages who stay conscious. Ben take out his twin revolvers and shoot at them to finish it.
"2nd step done," says Ben while removing his gravity domain.
"Easy peasy lemon squeezy," says Bella happily.
"Woah, Bella-chan, you're great," praises Mira.
Bella gets happy hearing Mira praises her and she flies to Mira's head. It makes Ben a little surprised to see Bella gets on soone else's head. She never even gets on Wendy's or Roubaul's head before.
"Elfman, let's take their magic items first before we get inside," says Ben.
"Alright," replies Elfman.
Ben & Elfman then take all magic items from the defeated Dark Mages. Ben then stores all the magic items with Requip after wearing them. He needs to do it one by one until he stores everything.
This is one of Requip magic's weaknesses. He needs to wear them first before he can store them. But that's the concept of Requip, where he stores sothing that he wears in his magical storage to wear them again later.
Mira is playing with Bella while Ben & Elfman are busy with their work. Well, Ben is glad that at least Bella gets happy playing with Mira. Although he & Elfman want them to at least help to gather the magic items.
They're finally done after 5 minutes and they go to the mansion. Ben tries to sense the 3 remaining enemies inside. He senses them in different places. Their Guild Master is on the 3rd floor, while the other 2 are on the 2nd floor in opposite directions.
"I will take care of the Guild Master. Mira will go to the left, she is the 2nd strongest there. Elfman, you go to the right, he is the weakest of the 3, but he is still a strong mage," says Ben.
"Alright," says Mira while nodding.
"Woah, you can even sense their strength," says Elfman.
"It's just their raw MP, not their battle prowess. They might be stronger than the prediction, that's why you need to be very careful," says Ben.
Mira & Elfman nod before they get inside the mansion. They get in the lobby and see a stair in the middle. They climb it and Ben tells them where to go by pointing it with his finger.
The siblings then move in a different direction to face their enemies. Ben keeps walking with Bella on his head toward another stair to the 3rd floor. He walks calmly while looking around at the creepy-designed corridor.
After a minute of walking, Ben arrives in front of a big door. He opens it and sees the Dark Guild's Master is sitting behind a desk and looking at him. Ben enters the room and looks back at his enemy.
"Those guys are really useless. Can't even stop you for 10 minutes. But even if they're useless, they're not weak, or I won't recruit them. That ans you are very strong to be able to defeat them alone," says the man.
"I'm not alone, Bella defeated 7 of them," says Ben while pointing at Bella.
"You're not fooling anyone here, kid. The cat could only shoot those guys because they can't move. And the reason is your magic. I have to say I'm impressed to see soone your age being able to use strong gravity magic like that," says the man.
"Cut your crap, Leonardo. I don't co here for your crap," says Ben mockingly.
"Le-Leonardo? Who is that? My na is Juan Carlo," says Juan.
"Ah yes, I an that, Juan," says Ben with a twitching mouth.
'Bastard, who cares about your na. That's just a mock,' thinks Ben angrily, but still tries to keep his face straight.
Ben doesn't know this guy's na at all and just uses the random na as a joke. But this guy thinks it's real and correcting Ben. It makes Ben feel like he is in the wrong even though he's not.
Seeing Ben is distracted a little, Juan makes his first move. Suddenly, a big yellow lightning beam cos out from Juan's desk. It moves toward Ben and makes him co out from his stupor.
Ben jumps to the side and dodges the lightning beam. He then looks at Juan who already wears a full set of golden armor. He uses a long sword and long shield. Then yellow lightning zaps from Juan's magic items.
Juan looks at Ben while grinning and says, "Co then little rascal."
