Just as planned, Ben's Dragon Roar has attracted the Dragon Gods' attention. However, it also attracted the attention of other powerful beings all over the world. He knows it'll happen, but he doesn't care as long as those Dragons are coming.
Though he isn't sure if the Dragon Gods will co to his location. So he orders his clones that have found them to make sure they co. The clones are approaching the Dragon Gods to rile them up and make them co to his main body. They can find them easily because their magic power is too powerful to be hidden completely.
Now Ben just needs to wait for them to co to him themselves. But suddenly, his expression changes when one of his clones that approach one of the Dragon Gods sends a ssage to him. The clone tells him that the Dragon it t wants to talk to him.
He feels reluctant, but he also wants to know more about the Dragon Gods, so he agrees to talk. Ben teleports to the clone's location, surprising the Dragon God because she didn't feel his teleportation. It's a very instant movent even though he was so far away.
"This feeling, you were the one who made this world night all the ti."
In front of Ben is not a massive Dragon, but a pretty blonde-haired woman. Though he knows from her magic power that she's definitely a Dragon. Other than her, there are also 4 people. From their magic power, Ben knows that they are Dragon Slayers, 5th Generation Dragon Slayers.
"A Dragon who lives with Dragon Slayers, not sothing I would see every day. It would make more sense if they are 1st Generation Dragon Slayers, but they are 5th Generation who ate Dragons. Now this is interesting."
"So you know about 5th Generation Dragon Slayers."
"Of course, I've t them, after all. A bunch of idiots who almost leave their humanity. Anyway, what do you want to talk about with ?"
"Ara, shouldn't we introduce ourselves first? Let do it first. I am Selene, the Moon Dragon God."
"Moon Dragon? That explains why you could cover this planet with Moon energy. Well, I am Ben, son of Escanor, the Sun Dragon."
Selene is surprised to hear that because obviously, she knows Escanor. She has lived since the ancient ti and Escanor was a famous Dragon whose tale was known by almost all Dragons. Although she was still very young when Escanor was still kicking, she still rembers one of the Dragons who was acknowledged as a God even by fellow Dragons.
"Son of Escanor? Boy, don't play with . I won't just let that claim slide easily. Lord Escanor was the most respected Dragon of all ti. He has passed a long ti ago and there wasn't any word about him having a son, furthermore, a human as a son. I will kill you now if you don't explain yourself."
"Explain? Why should I explain it to you? I don't have such an obligation. Besides, are you sure you have what it takes to kill ?"
Ben releases his magic power to intimidate everyone there. The 4 Dragon Slayers who haven't said anything since the beginning widen their eyes as they fall onto the ground. They have cold sweat and can't breathe properly because of the sheer pressure from Ben's magic power.
Even Selene is suppressed by his magic power. It's not as bad as what the Dragon Slayers felt, but the pressure still makes Selene unable to move and cold sweat starts to form on her forehead. She never felt anything like this before, not even from Acnologia.
"Stop! Alright, let's talk calmly."
Ben stops his intimidation, so now all of them can breathe normally again.
"Talk quick, I have a business to attend to."
"By business, are you talking about the Dragon Gods? Your clone asked if I was one of the Dragon Gods and told to prepare myself. Are you targeting the Dragon Gods?"
"Yeah, I took a job to kill all of you, the last threats to Earthland."
"Earthland?! Did you co from Earthland? And what do you an by last threats?"
"Hmm, I can at least tell you this before killing you. I have slain Acnologia that you feared so much you ran to Elentear."
"WHAT?! YOU'VE SLAIN ACNOLOGIA?"
"My n & I have slain all the Dragons too, so Earthland would be safe now. Or so I thought until I knew of your existence. The last Dragons that can endanger my children's future, the Dragon Gods. I searched for you guys and found that you've run here. So I ca here to slay every one of you."
Selene is very shocked right now, and so are the Dragon Slayers. They never thought that soone would be able to slay Acnologia because they themselves have tried and failed.
"You- Are you telling the truth?"
"It's up to you whether to believe or not."
Selene suddenly slumps on the ground with a perplexed expression. She seems relieved but also worried at the sa ti, which makes Ben confused. He thought she would be terrified at least when knowing soone who could slay Acnologia is coming for her head.
"What's with you?"
"Uhm, can you please listen to us first?"
A female Dragon Slayer suddenly asks Ben that. He agrees because he also wants to know more about these Dragon Gods. Besides, he has found all of them, so he can just attack them and kill them later. He has given a warning to them, but that's fine, he can always kill them anyti he wants.
After composing herself for a while, Selene finally starts to talk. She tells Ben that she actually is very fond of humans and even wants to be a human herself. Selene actually despises the Dragons, especially those who hunted humans, even though she herself is a Dragon.
She has prepared plans to kill her fellow Dragon Gods that don't like humans. But her plans need a rather long ti to finish and before she could execute them, Acnologia ca to attack with his Dragon Army. She tried to resist, but she failed, so she escaped here.
"I brought these guys along with a lot of people who were close to us. My plan was just to escape with them, but the other Dragon Gods found out about my plan. I wanted to leave them so that Acnologia would take care of them. But they found out about my escape plan and followed here. I didn't have any choice because I couldn't defeat them."
"The Dragon Gods, there should be 5 of you if we exclude Dogramag that has turned into a labyrinth and got destroyed. Why did I only find 4 of you?"
"That's because one of us died before we escaped here. The Water Dragon God, rcphobia died protecting his domain. It was a very unfortunate thing because of all the other Dragon Gods, only rcphobia shares a rather good opinion about humans like . That was also the biggest reason for his fall. He died protecting a human he cherished the most along with all the people that he also cared for. Unlike , he didn't have a way to escape safely with his people. As for the other 3 Dragon Gods, well, you can think about it."
"They left their domains to use your escape thod, huh? Did they fight though?"
"Yeah, they tried, but they got overwheld quickly and ran. We thought we have beco as powerful or even stronger than Acnologia. But that monster was way stronger than we thought."
"No shit! Dude has slain thousands of Dragons and ended the era of Dragons by himself. If you only judged your power against him by the amount of your magic power, then you won't be his match. His magic was very powerful and his body has a very high resistance to most magic attacks that our attacks' power would get weaker."
"Yeah, we knew that, but we still lost. That's why I keep wondering since you said this before. How did you defeat that monster?"
"I studied him thoroughly and found the best way to break his defense. 4 tis, I have fought that nace 4 tis. I kept preparing for my next battle against him instead of just running away and being satisfied with getting stronger. For years, my goal was to kill him, while you guys didn't have that goal."
Selene is surprised, but she also feels bitter about that. Ben is right, she and her fellow Dragon Gods never truly wanted to defeat Acnologia. They only thought they have reached his level without actually trying to find and defeat him. Even Ignia who was obsessed to defeat Acnologia never actually searched for the black Dragon to fight.
"Searching Acnologia was easy, but you guys never did it. You just stay in Guiltina, acting like you were the best, thinking that you were Gods. For , you guys were nothing but arrogant cowards."
Selene & the Dragon Slayers don't like that, but they can't say anything about it. After all, it ca from soone who can suppress them with just magic power alone and has defeated an enemy they couldn't even face.
"Sigh, Ben, Son of Escanor. You ca here to slay the Dragon Gods because we are a threat to Earthland's future, right? I've told you about and I swear I won't be a threat to humanity. Just like you, I want the future of humans on Earthland to be safe. So how about we work together to defeat the other 3 Dragon Gods?"
Selene gives a proposal to Ben who still looks sceptical about her. He has just t her and they have just talked for a short ti. Obviously, a cautious man like him won't just believe what she said. But, he also can't just ignore her statents because having her and the Dragon Slayers as allies is also beneficial.
"Alright, let's make an alliance for now."
Ben is going to use their help while seeing if they really can be trusted. They also know more about the other Dragon Gods, so he will use them for his own benefit while judging them.
'Damn, it seems I was doing sothing unnecessary by shooting that Dragon Roar to attract their attention. Well, whatever.'
