Fairy Tail still holds the 1st position in the overall rank of the 3rd day. They have 50 points now, but the 2nd team, Lamia Scale has 49 points, just 1 point lower than Fairy Tail. Team Lamia Scale always gets high points in every ga, after all.
The 4th day's event finally starts and it is another difficult ga for Team Fairy Tail. The ga event is nad Hidden Fox. It's a ga where the participants need to infiltrate a place full of monsters similar to the Pandemonium from last year.
Their objective is to retrieve an orb hidden inside the building. They are given maps, so they know where to go. But it's still difficult because they need to move stealthily and then return to where they started.
Their points will be decided by their ti. The fastest will obviously get the highest point. Each mistake that leads to them being discovered by the monsters will give them a ti penalty with each mistake giving them a different ti penalty.
Bella represents Team Fairy Tail because Wendy knows she is the best for this job in their team. She often went on infiltration missions that required stealth with Ben. Also, Ben liked to hunt with Bella in the past when they were still living in the forest, so Bella's stealth skill is good.
She goes last after picking a random lottery for the playing order. The fastest right now is Rogue from Sabertooth who finished it in just 1 minute 13 seconds. His gap is big with Yuka from Lamia Scale in the 2nd position who finished it in 3 minutes and 37 seconds.
Bella starts her ga and she imdiately flies to the massive summoned castle. Out of everyone's expectation, Bella doesn't enter the castle through the main door. She flies higher outside the castle and keeps flying to the top floor.
Then after flying around for a mont, she shocks the spectators. Bella enters the top floor through a small hole that other participants can't use. She can pass it easily because of her small figure and she also can fly. This spot is unreachable by others because they can't fly, after all.
"Is that even allowed?" asks Demien from Orochi's Fin in protest.
"Well, the goal is to retrieve the lacrima ball undetected. There's no specific rule saying you must enter through the main door. The starting point is this start line too and you can use any thod you want as long as you don't get detected," says the Pumpkin Man.
Bella cos out soon and returns to the starting line which also acts as the finish line. Her ti is 1 minute and 16 seconds. She is just 3 seconds slower than Rogue because she still had a problem moving past the monsters on the top floor while Rogue just passed everything easily while being a shadow.
It's good enough though because they still get 8 points. So now their total point is 58, while Lamia Scale is still 2nd with 54, and Sabertooth 3rd with 53. They might not get more points in the battle round because their opponent is strong.
Wendy is chosen in the battle round and her opponent is rmaid Heel's Ace, Kagura. Both of them are on good terms, but this is a competition, so they will fight seriously. Ben has told Wendy to not hold back in this tournant and fight with everything she has too.
Their battle starts and Kagura imdiately rush to attack Wendy with her sword. But Wendy evades her attack with a very fast movent. Wendy has buffed herself with speed buff to move a lot faster.
She distances herself quite far from Kagura by moving near the wall. Wendy then adds her buffs to increase her attack and defense power. Then she gets into a fighting stance with her palms open.
Without saying a word, Wendy dashes toward Kagura and starts her attack. She attacks Kagura using her palms which are coated by the wind. The wind makes her attack faster because it reduces the air resistance.
Kagura fights back using her sword which is still sheathed in its scabbard as usual. She only takes it out when her sheathed sword isn't enough to defeat her opponents. Her sword is very sharp, so it's very dangerous because it can surely kill her opponents.
That sharp sword is coming out in this battle, and just a minute after the battle started. Wendy is stronger and fiercer in battle than Kagura thought. She uses her wind magic to reduce Kagura's attack power and makes her attacks faster & stronger.
Kagura needs to unsheath her sword soon if she wants to win. Wendy's Martial Art style is unique because Ben made it specifically for her. It uses her wind magic and is very compatible with her small body.
Her Martial Art is mainly composed of evasion and deflection for defense. The main attacks are counterattacks that utilize the chances she makes after those evasions & deflections. But she still can attack first and if she lands the first hit, then the battle will turn in her favor.
That's exactly what happened to Kagura when they just started their battle. Wendy evaded her attack and hits her stomach with a palm. She gets pushed and her rhythm imdiately gets destroyed because Wendy didn't give her any chance to strike back.
Wendy kept disrupting her attacks before she could even execute them. By attacking at a very close distance and aiming at Kagura's hands, Wendy could prevent Kagura from attacking her. Then she landed small but fast hits on Kagura's body.
Kagura also had a hard ti escaping because Wendy is very fast. Only after being able to use her Gravity Magic on Wendy could Kagura escape. Then she imdiately unsheathed her sword and gets very serious.
Facing Kagura's sharp sword forces Wendy to beco more careful. Kagura with an unsheathed sword is very different than when her sword was still sheathed. Her attacks are more deadly and swift, so Wendy needs to be very careful, but it destroys her rhythm.
She realizes it, so she imdiately makes distances from Kagura. Wendy pushes Kagura with a strong wind and she also moves back very far. She goes near the wall to catch a breath and heals her injuries while preparing for her next attack.
Ben widens his eyes when he sees Wendy's magic power spikes. He smiles widely as he sees a bright white aura covering his sister's body. Other Mages are also surprised because they've seen it before, Dragon Slayer's Drive Mode.
Wendy's Sky Dragon Slayer Magic has so buff spells. So Ben thought she could use Drive Mode because it is also a kind of buff. Dragon Force is difficult to achieve, so he taught her Drive Mode first, and she finally succeeds after learning it for a few months.
Kagura gets warier now and she knows she needs to attack now. She can't let Wendy gets her montum back because she knows how dangerous Drive Mode is. But Wendy already predicted that Kagura would attack imdiately.
So Wendy imdiately makes her move while Kagura is rushing at her. She spreads her legs a little and points her left index finger to the sky while pointing her right index finger to the ground as she lowers herself. A pair of massive white magic circles appear in the sky and on the ground beneath Wendy.
Then she chants her spell, "Original Dragon Slayer Art! Tearing The Sky, Destroying The Earth: Sky Dragon's Ascension!"
The magic circles break apart like glasses and then the parts spread all over the arena. Then from each part, a whirlwind appears. The whirlwinds get bigger and bigger before rging with each other, creating so massive tornadoes with great power.
Kagura can't move forward because she gets sucked by the Tornadoes that move toward her. She tries to slash and break the tornadoes, but all her attempts fail. She tries to stay on the ground using her Gravity Magic, but the suction is too strong for her Gravity Magic to work.
Finally, Kagura can't hold it anymore and she gets sucked into one of the Tornadoes. She defends herself, but the Tornado's wind is as sharp as blades. So her defense breaks and she gets thrown around in the Tornado.
Wendy has full control of her Tornadoes and she can see what happens inside them. She stops her spell when she sees Kagura already getting too many injuries. Kagura falls to the shattered ground with many cuts and blood on her body.
She looks at Wendy for a mont before losing consciousness. The referee stops the battle and Wendy wins this battle round. The ek and clumsy girl that everyone saw now looks very formidable.
