The eting of Ishgar's National Leaders will be held tomorrow. So Ben needs to go today and prepare a few things for the eting location. He needs to go, but he is very reluctant to leave his babies that he keeps stopping and taking a glance back as he walks away from ho.
Mira giggles seeing his face that seems like he is about to cry, Bella who lies on his head even sighs because he keeps turning around. He only stops glancing after he can't see his babies anymore. But he still has a way, he uses his Light & Gravity magic to fly so he can see them again, making Mira sweatdrops.
"Ben! You need to leave now to do your job. Do you want your kids to see you as an incompetent Mage?" asks Mira.
Ben flinches before reluctantly flying away at a very high speed. Bella pats his head because he is actually weeping silently now. But he still can fly very fast even though he isn't concentrating on his flight.
Ben uses his flying ability instead of his beloved car because he needs to be fast. He can fly very fast because of his Light Magic, after all. Combined with his Gravity magic to reduce his weight, Ben can outmatch any fighter jet on Earth.
He is so fast that he arrives at the eting location in a re minute even though the eting place is very far, it's in The Country of Sin, in the far south of Ishgar. This is a super fast thod to move, but this is not his favorite. He still likes using his car because he can enjoy the ride and see the scenery.
When he lands on the plaza, everyone looks at him in surprise. They also get wary because they thought he is an enemy who cos to attack. Only after they realize that it's Ben do they stop being wary and resu their day.
Ben doesn't bother with them and goes to the eting hall imdiately. The Magic Council has told him his job, so he just needs to do it. He goes to the biggest building in the town and enters it after going through a tight security check.
After getting inside, Ben goes to the eting room, which is a very wide room with a big round table in it. There are so people inside, but he ignores them all. They also don't approach him because they can see from his face that his mood is bad. No one dares to disturb a Wizard Saint in bad mood.
Ben goes to a corner and starts writing magic letters on the floor & wall. His first job is to make a protection for the leaders who will et in this hall. So he is making a barrier using magic letters to protect the leaders.
After that, he makes another barrier around the building. Lastly, he makes less strong barriers on the residences that the leaders use here. He has many things to do on the first day, so he uses his clones to help him.
When he builds the barriers on the leaders' residence, so of them try to talk and forge a relationship with him. He is the youngest Wizard Saint, so he might stay in the rank for the longest ti. Forging a good relationship with him is a must for these leaders.
But Ben isn't interested in them and ignores them all. He just wants to do his job quietly and finishes fast. He is already pissed by this job and these people just make it worse. Luckily, he can hold himself and just ignores them while working.
After he finished making all those barriers, he goes to a mansion arranged for him because Bella has fallen asleep after going around for a few hours. Ben wants to imdiately call his family after putting Bella on the bed. But he changes his mind and decides to test his connection to Jarvis.
"AI Chip, try to contact Jarvis," asks Ben.
[.....]
AI Chip doesn't answer, making Ben confused.
"Hello? Ms. AI Chip?" asks Ben again, but she still doesn't answer.
This is the first ti AI Chip doesn't answer his call. He is confused, but he's not panic and tries to be calm. There must be sothing that happens for AI Chip to not answer his call without any notice.
"Does sothing happen?" asks Ben.
[No]
She finally answers, which makes Ben relieved. But her 'No' is strange, it sounds like the 'No' of an angry girlfriend. It is a 'No' that ans 'Yes' because Mira always used it when he made mistakes.
"Sigh, co on, don't be difficult, and just tell what you want. You are becoming more and more like a girl in her puberty. You should know that if you don't say it, then I will never know," says Ben.
[.... Alright. I want to have a na too like Jarvis, a proper na.]
Ben is speechless, he thought it will be sothing very serious. But maybe it's a very serious matter for AI Chip because she feels that Jarvis is special while she isn't.
"Hmm, na, huh? I chose Jarvis from Iron Man, so maybe from another movie. Hmm, how about Terminator's Sky Net?" asks Ben.
[No]
"Not good, huh? How about-?" asks Ben, but AI Chip cuts his words.
[No, not T-800 or T-1000 either, they are n. TX is not good too, it's female, but it's an evil robot. Also, those don't sound like nas, just codes.]
"F-Fine, then how about Quorra from Tron? I have Light Runner from Tron and I built it with you. So wouldn't it be good if your na is Quorra?" asks Ben.
[I don't find any problem, I accept the na.]
Ben sighs in relief when she accepts it because he doesn't have that many na ideas for an AI. He didn't watch a lot of movies in his past life and not all movies have AI in them.
"Alright, AI- uh, sorry, Quorra, try to connect with Jarvis," says Ben.
[Connecting to Jarvis..... Connection succeeds.]
"Woah, that's fast. It just took 5 seconds, I thought it would be a few minutes," says Ben in surprise.
[Magical connection can be ford fast because the atmosphere is filled with Ethernano. The magical connection is using Ethernano as a dium, and the signal can move faster than a radio wave.]
"... I don't know how fast that is, but it must be very fast. Anyway, connect with Jarvis's CCTV system," says Ben.
Ben places a lacrima in front of him while Quorra enters Jarvis's CCTV system. Then, many floating screens suddenly appear on top of the lacrima. It truly feels like a scene from a Sci-fi movie with many screens in front of Ben.
This lacrima is made by Ben after he made Jarvis because he suddenly has the idea to make it. It's not a new thing in this world, but he improved it. The normal ones can only show one screen, but the one he made can show many screens at once.
"Hmm, everything's good, there's no problem with the connection and we can control everything even from this distance. Alright, let's call the babies," says Ben.
The screens disappear and only a big screen is left there. Jarvis connects him with Mira & his babies who are playing in the family room. They see his face on the screen and imdiately crawl to him happily.
But when they try to hug him, they pass through the floating screen. Ben & Mira laugh at it but they stop imdiately when the babies start crying. The twin must've been shocked just now, so now they cry, and Mira tries to calm them down.
"Damn, Jarvis, entertain the babies," says Ben.
{Understood, playing entertainnt programs for babies.}
Suddenly, a cheerful song is played in the room. So colorful bird holograms also fly around the room as virtual flower petals fall in the room. It's a test entertainnt program that Ben installed in Jarvis to entertain the babies.
He is worried that they won't like it, but luckily, they like it. They stop crying imdiately and laugh happily while watching the show. Ben & Mira sigh in relief because when these 2 cry, they can go for an hour without stopping.
The Cooper family then holds a virtual eting for the first ti. They are just having fun with this new experience and keep going at it until night. Bella also joins them after she wakes up, and so are the others after they go back from the guild.
It's a new experience, so they all enjoy it very much. Then the next day, the eting of Ishgar's National Leaders finally starts. Ben is guarding the leaders in the conference room while hoping that nothing will happen in the next few days. But life isn't as easy as he wants it to be.
