The Giants hold a feast for Ben & Mira because they have saved the Giants from a hostile Mage. Ben's talk with Atlas has finished and he learned so new things about Acnologia. He also has a new mission, to improve his training, and get stronger at a faster rate.
While they all eat big portions of food, the Elder Giant calls Ben & Mira. "Human Mages, you said you are doing commissioned jobs, right?"
"That's right, but we only take jobs requested through our guild," says Mira.
"Is that so?" asks the elder giant with a rather disappointed tone.
"Do you have a job request for us?" asks Ben.
The elder nods, so Ben says, "Then you can just give it to us. We will process it in our guild for you later. This is just an administrative procedure, so it can be handled easily. But please bear in mind, that we won't do jobs that are against the law, as we are Mages from a Legal Guild."
"I don't know much about human laws, but I don't think our job request is against the law," says the elder hastily.
"Well, let's hear it first," says Ben.
The elder giant then tells them the giants' job request. It is to find and take care of a human girl who was raised by the giants. She was found at a young age and grew among the giants, but she left so ti ago because she knew she was different from the ones who raised her.
Her na is Flare, a teenage girl with dark-red hair color. Unfortunately, the giants don't have any pictures of her. But they tell Ben & Mira that Flare can manipulate her hair as a blessing from Eternal Fla.
Ben asks more about her physical traits and the giants explained them in detail. They are very worried about her because she never socializes with other humans. The human world is full of danger, so the Giants can't help but be worried about the child they've raised.
The Giants want Ben & Mira to find Flare and then take care of her. They know they can trust Ben & Mira because the 2 of them are trusted by their guardian deity, Eternal Fla. That's why they want the 2 to help Flare who didn't know anything about the human world.
Ben & Mira accept the job because it's sothing they can do. Having a good relationship with the Giants is quite important. They might need the giants' help one day, so this can be viewed as an investnt.
"Leave it to us. With my position in Mage society, I will be able to find her quite easily," says Ben.
"Thank you, young humans," says the elder giant.
Ben & Mira stay there for a night and decide to leave the next day. Before they leave, Ben gives so of his fire magic to Eternal Fla. Atlas's power has gotten weaker through the years, so Ben's magic restored a lot of it.
"So this is Lord Escanor's fire, truly magnificent," says Atlas as his fla appearance got bigger and the heat around him increases.
"Then, Atlas, giants, it's ti for us to leave. We will do and finish the job you've requested as soon as possible. If you need our help, then call us through this communication lacrima," says Ben while taking out a lacrima crystal ball.
It's very small compared to the giants. But it can project the image to a wall and make it bigger, just like projectors on Earth. It is one of Ben's experint results that he did when he was bored.
After bidding farewell to the giants, Ben & Mira leave using Light Runner. They want to continue their honeymoon and return ho soon. It's been a few days since they left, after all, so they need to go ho soon.
While they are on the way, Ben calls his acquaintance in the Magic Council to search for Flare. With Magic Council helping him, it will be easy to find her. And he gets the information just an hour after he called.
"Raven Tail? Sigh, so annoying," says Ben.
"Isn't that Master's son's guild?" asks Mira.
"Yeah, it's that annoying Ivan's guild. Let's call Master first," says Ben.
Ben calls Makarov and explains the job that he took. Makarov hasn't made any direct confrontation against Raven Tail. But now, Ben might need to do it, and it will surely cause problems. That's why he calls Makarov first.
"Do you really need to do that job?" asks Makarov.
"Master, The Giants or Raven Tail, which do you think is more important to us?" asks Ben back.
Makarov gets silent before saying, "Just don't kill anyone."
"I can't promise that. They are still a Dark Guild now because their request to be turned into a Legal Guild hasn't been accepted yet. So it's not illegal for to kill anyone. But I can promise you that as long as they don't try to kill , then I won't kill them," says Ben very seriously.
Makarov knows that Ben isn't joking. He is soone who won't let those who threatened his & his companions' lives leave in one piece if he can. Ben doesn't care if his target is his Guild Master's son & his friend's father. Ivan is no one for him.
"What should we do, Mira?" asks Ben after closing the call with Makarov.
"Hmm, let's do the job after we finished our Honeymoon," says Mira.
"Alright," says Ben while smiling.
Ben & Mira continue their honeymoon by going around places. They visit places that they've never visited before and mostly, these places are wilderness. It's an unusual honeymoon, but it's also a fun one for them.
4 days later, they finish their honeymoon, and they go to Raven Tail's base location. As a Dark Guild, their base is hidden far from civilization, although the Magic Council knows it already. The Council just hasn't taken any action toward the guild.
"I don't know why they like to build their guilds in dark places like this just because they are called Dark Guilds. They took the na too literally," says Ben while looking at the eerie dark building in a barren land.
"It matches their personalities, maybe," says Mira.
"Sigh, doesn't matter, let's finish this fast. I don't like this place," says Ben.
Both of them walk toward the eerie guild building and suddenly a lot of people surround them. Ben sighs again because this is just another typical form of attack by Dark Guild. Mira giggles seeing Ben getting annoyed by the small fries of Raven Tail.
"Intruder, do you kno-," a man wants to say sothing, but Ben interrupts him.
"Stop! I don't want to hear your typical villain lines. Just call Ivan here! Tell him that I have a business with him," says Ben while showing the Fairy Tail guild mark on his forearm.
The small fries get surprised seeing the Fairy Tail mark and get into battle stances. The man who asked before, runs to the guild building to inform Ivan & their guild's elites. Soon, Ivan & their guild's elites co to et Ben & Mira.
"Ben Cooper, I never thought that you would co here yourself. What's your business here?" asks Ivan rather warily.
Ivan has prepared a lot of things to go against Fairy Tail since he built Raven Tail. He is confident that his guild mbers can defeat all Fairy Tail mbers, all but one, Ben. Ben's power & growth are not sothing that Ivan & Raven Tail can handle.
"I co here for one reason, Flare Corona," says Ben while looking at the red-haired girl who stands among the elites.
"Why are you looking for her?" asks Ivan again.
"It's none of your business, but I'll tell you so we can finish this fast. Flare Corona, we are sent by Sun Village and Eternal Fla to find you. They are very worried about you, so they asked us to take care of you," says Ben.
"B-But everyone here is taking care of ," says Flare rather shyly.
Ben is dumbfounded by her statent. Taking care of her? More like taking advantage of her because she doesn't know the norms in this world. It makes Ben speechless, luckily, Mira knows what to say.
"Flare-chan, do you trust them?" asks Mira.
Flare nods, so Mira asks another thing, "Then, which one that you trust more? Them or Eternal Fla & Sun Village?"
"O-Of course, it's Eternal Fla & everyone in Sun Village," says Flare imdiately.
It hasn't long since Flare joined Raven Tail, so, of course, she isn't that attached to them yet.
"Then you should go with us, as we are the ones trusted by Eternal Fla, not them," says Mira.
Ben is impressed, but then he also thinks, 'Damn, does this an I will never be able to win an argunt against her?'
