Both of Fairy Tail's teams are fighting for the 1st position and Sabertooth has taken the 3rd position now. The most pitiful is Quatro Cerberus that not only has a re 2 points but also needs to change their na to Quatro Puppy until the end of the tournant.
With one of the teams' na changes, they start the 3rd day. The 3rd day's hidden ga is surprisingly not Pandemonium, it's the Naval Battle that was played in the 4th day in the series. Alex is surprised by this, but he just thinks that it's normal for differences to happen.
Now, he is troubled by who he'll send to play this ga. He wants to participate in the Pandemonium because it is more difficult and an event that needs more power, so he can't participate now to give his teammates chances to play.
Wendy has played Chariot, Elfman and Gajeel aren't good in water battles, so the only remaining choice is Lucy. However, if it goes like in the series, then Minerva will join and she might target Lucy too. Alex doesn't want to see Lucy get tortured by Minerva, so he doesn't know what to do now.
When he is thinking hard and discussing this with his team, he looks at the other teams and reads their mouths with his Rinne-Sharingan to know who they'll send. He has learned to use his Rinne-Sharingan to read lips just like those skillful Uchiha ninjas.
Then after he finds out who the other teams send, Alex finally agrees to send Lucy as his team suggests. But of course, he also tells Lucy the strategies he has thought of to make sure she won't get tortured by Minerva and might even win.
After a while, the organizer calls the participant from each team to participate. Fairy Tail A sends Lucy, Fairy Tail B sends Mira, Sabertooth sends Minerva, rmaid Heel sends Ultear, Lamia Scale sends Sherria, Heaven's Runners send Sorano, Blue Pegasus sends Jenny, and Quatro Puppy sends Rocker.
Mira, Ultear, and Sorano are the only different participants than the series. The reason Alex agreed to send Lucy was because of Mira and Ultear. Both of them won't be defeated by Minerva that easily and will protect Lucy if Minerva does too much on her.
Though it seems he doesn't need to worry about Minerva targeting Lucy. After all, right now, Minerva becos the target of the scariest predator that participates in this ga. Ultear is grinning sinisterly while looking at Minerva, actually making Minerva nervous.
Almost everyone quickly understands that Ultear wants to avenge Flare. Minerva was doing too much when fighting Flare yesterday and Ultear swore to pay her back if they t in the tournant. That chance cos very quickly.
When she heard that the ga was called Naval Battle, Ultear imdiately predicted that Sabertooth would send Minerva. Not only will this ga be centered more on the girls, the other mbers of Team Sabertooth don't seem to be suitable to fight underwater.
So she chose to play and her prediction is correct. Now she can pay Minerva back for hurting Flare too much. It makes Alex think that Minerva won't even have the chance to target Lucy when soone like Ultear is after her.
He knows that this will be Ultear's playing ground because her magic is water and ice. Furthermore, her water magic is an advanced type, the Water God Slayer Magic. Even if Juvia who excels in Water Magic joins here, Ultear would still overwhelm her.
Soon, the ga starts. The participants who have worn swimsuits quickly enter the massive floating water sphere. They can breathe in the water sphere, so they don't need to go out every once in a while and focus on fighting to stay there.
As soon as the ga starts, everyone makes their move. However, they suddenly stop. No one can move their bodies. When they turn their heads, they see black auras wrap their limbs, preventing them from moving even a little.
But one person can move. Ultear floats slowly toward Minerva. She doesn't even move her body and really looks like she is floating underwater. As she moves, black snake-like auras start coiling around the other participants' bodies.
These black things aren't auras, shadows, or black magic. They are water made by Ultear's Water God Slayer Magic which gives the water she controls black color. Because they are underwater, their appearances beco more like shadows or black auras.
She binds everyone with her Water God Slayer Magic as soon as the ga starts. Thanks to her magic, this whole water sphere becos her territory. Everything here is under her control.
"I can just throw all of you out of this water sphere now, but what's the fun in it, right? You took your sweet ti hitting my precious friend, Minerva. So I'll follow your example and take my sweet ti with you. If I throw everyone out first, we'll only have 5 minutes. But you played around with our cute Flare for 15 minutes, so let's play that long too."
With a sinister smile, Ultear snaps her fingers, and then the water beside Minerva's face bursts. It creates an effect similar to an explosion and it has the sa power as the small explosions that Minerva used on Flare.
"I can't rember the places you hit Flare, but I can rember the power you used. Well, I'll just hit every spot on your body because Flare was hit everywhere. Now, let's start with the weakest explosion."
Ultear snaps her fingers again, bursting the water on a different spot on Minerva's body. Minerva can't do anything with Ultear's Water God Slayer spell wrapped around his hands, fingers, feet, and even mouth.
No one else in the sphere can do anything either because they are also bound by Ultear's magic. The organizer can't stop it too because this is still within the allowable rules. Even the Sabertooth team also can't say anything because they know Minerva will be angry if they decide to surrender on her behalf.
So everyone can only watch as Ultear hit Minerva one-sidedly with water explosions. But Minerva is surely tough because she doesn't get damaged as much as Flare even though Ultear uses the sa levels of explosions she used on Flare.
"Alright, 15 minutes is over to avenge Flare. I'm glad you endured that well because we aren't over yet. It's ti to show you our anger, rmaid Heel's anger."
In a flash, Ultear appears right in front of Minerva from her initial position a few ters away. Her eyes suddenly glow white, making it look like her pupils disappear. Then without saying another word, she starts sending a barrage of fast and powerful punches at Minerva's body.
She is underwater, but she can move very fast. She is so fast that the whole water sphere shakes and becos violent. However, no one is thrown out of the sphere because Ultear kept them inside with her magic.
Then after a while, Minerva is thrown out of the water sphere. Her teammates quickly catch her before she hits the ground. They are shocked by the bad bruises on her body.
"I held back and didn't injure her too much. Tell her to keep playing so we can fight again. If she quits, then you can be sure that I will co to Sabertooth's base to crush all of you."
Ultear says that while looking down on the Sabertooth team before turning back to look at the other participants. She kept all of them inside and threw Minerva out first so that Sabertooth got 0 points in this ga.
"Now what to do with you guys? Hmm, why don't you decide the ranks by yourselves? I apologize for keeping you like that for quite a while, so I'll let you fight properly now. You can even attack and I won't bind you anymore. Just rember that once you attack , I will attack back. If you don't do anything to , then I'll just watch."
While smiling smugly, Ultear releases the other participants. She moves to the edge of the water sphere and crosses her arms leisurely, ready to watch the battles between the remaining participants who imdiately understand that attacking Ultear is their last option.
Ultear has made it clear that she can control everything in this water sphere. This is her territory, her domain. She is the Water God Slayer and in this giant water sphere, she is the God.
