"Damn it."
Hearing the thick sarcasm in the boy's words, Gray beca furious.
He was about to use an even more powerful spell, but Noel suddenly reached out and stopped him.
"Noel, what are you doing?" Gray asked.
Noel looked at the blond-haired boy, Reign, with a serious expression and said, "Look at the emblem on his hand, Gray."
Following Noel's words, everyone turned their attention to Reign's hand.
Under the glow of the light, a black cross on the back of his hand appeared deep and mysterious.
"That emblem... it's from the Dark Guild—Demon God's Soul!" Erza was the first to recognize it and exclaid in shock.
Upon hearing Erza's words, the expressions of everyone grew tense.
The na Demon God's Soul was widely feared in the current magical world.
The fact that they had once killed a mber of the Ten Wizard Saints was enough to make them a dangerous and formidable force.
"Hmph. Let introduce myself first," the blond-haired boy said to the group. "I am one of the Seven Seats of the Demon God's Soul, the Steel Throne, Reign Gilarnia."
"You're one of the Seven Seats, just like that Garlos guy?" Noel asked.
"Garlos?" Reign was montarily surprised.
Then, his expression quickly returned to indifference. "So, you've t him. But don't get ahead of yourself just because Garlos respected you. I am not like him, Noel Rutherford. I don't acknowledge your so-called status. Today, I'm going to defeat you and prove to that person that you're worthless. Only I am worthy of being by that person side."
Noel ignored Reign's provocation and turned to the others. "You guys go ahead. Leave this to ."
"Noel, you—" Erza started to say sothing, but Noel cut her off.
"Go. His target is , and you still have to defeat Jellal, don't you?" Noel looked at Erza.
Erza hesitated for a mont before speaking.
"Then promise —you absolutely must make it out of this."
Noel nodded, then looked at the others. "You all be careful."
Everyone exchanged glances before nodding in agreent.
Without hesitation, they left through the door on the other side, disappearing from sight.
Once they were gone, Noel turned to face Reign, taking a deep breath.
"Your target is , right? Then co at . Besides, I also want to capture you and find out who that 'great one' behind you really is."
"That depends on whether you have the strength for it," Reign sneered, as a surge of purple magical energy began to radiate from his body.

On the staircase leading to the top of the Tower of Heaven, the mbers of Fairy Tail, along with Sho and Simon, were running at full speed.
"Damn it, Wally and Millianna's communication has been blocked! Without it, we have no idea where they are," Simon said anxiously, pressing a hand to his forehead as he tried to use magic to contact his two companions—only to realize that their connection had been cut off.
"Communication?"
"You an Thought Projection Magic, right?"
As the group discussed, Erza slowed her steps slightly, glancing back toward the battlefield where Noel and Reign were fighting.
In her heart, she prayed, (Noel, you must be safe...).
"Hmm? Are you okay, Sho?" Erza's sharp eyes imdiately noticed the boy's gloomy expression and asked with concern.
"Yeah... because you're here, sister." Sho nodded.
Though his expression remained troubled, he still managed to smile at Erza.
Seeing this, Erza nodded back without saying more.
She didn't look back again and instead continued running forward.
At this mont, all she could do was believe in Noel and defeat Jellal as soon as possible.
"Hey, can we really trust that guy?" Gray suddenly spoke in a low voice to Juvia, referring to Simon.
He didn't say this out of personal dislike—rather, it was because their forr enemy had suddenly switched sides.
This naturally made Gray suspicious.
If Simon were actually Jellal's spy, it would be a serious problem.
Before Juvia could respond, Simon, who was ahead of them, suddenly spoke.
"I won't make excuses."
"You heard , huh?" Since he had already been noticed, Gray decided to speak to Simon directly.
"If a wizard can be defeated that easily, then they were never capable of fighting Jellal in the first place," Simon said firmly.
"And I am absolutely certain—Noel Rutherford will not die. That man is strong... Even more than that, I can feel it. Within him, there is a power as vast and terrifying as the sky itself...
"You haven't seen Noel's true power yet. Once the sealed power inside him is unleashed... all evil will be erased from his presence."
BOOM!
Suddenly, a massive explosion erupted from behind them, forcing everyone to stop in their tracks.
Turning around, they saw that the room where Noel and Reign were fighting had been blown wide open, leaving a massive hole.
The sheer surging magic power pouring out from within made everyone's heart skip a beat.
"So strong... This magic power... It's actually on par with Noel's," Erza muttered softly, sensing the imnse energy radiating from the battle room—it was just as powerful as the magic Noel was emitting.
"That brat actually has such overwhelming strength? No wonder he was so arrogant." Gray clenched his fists. "What should we do, Erza? Should we go back and help Noel?"
Erza hesitated for a mont, then shook her head. "No. As harsh as it sounds, a battle of that level is beyond us. If we go back, we won't be able to help Noel—we'll only beco a burden to him."
Hearing Erza's words, the group fell into a heavy silence.

The Top Floor of the Tower of Heaven.
A man in a black robe, known as Jellal, held a black king chess piece, placing it on the board opposite a white king piece.
Then, he picked up a red dragon piece and knocked over the other two pieces on the board.
"Reign has already engaged the most troubleso opponent... Sho and Simon have betrayed ... Wally and Milliana were defeated by the fire dragon... As expected, the ga is playing out like this. There's nothing more boring than a one-sided ga." Jellal smirked as he muttered to himself, staring at the chessboard.
"Jellal-sama, capture Erza quickly and start the ritual! Now is no ti for gas!" Unlike Jellal, a figure beside him was growing impatient—Vidaldus Taka, one of the Trinity Ravens of the Death's Head Caucus, urged him impatiently.
"Then... are you ready to make a move, Vidaldus?"
"May I?"
"Now it's our turn to play," Jellal said, his gaze shifting toward the three figures before him—Vidaldus Taka, OwL, and their leader, Ikaruga.
A man with black hair trailing to the floor, a pink-haired girl, and a bizarre owl-headed man—Jellal addressed them with a smirk.
"Go."
