"Joseph, get out here!"

High above the Phantom Lord guild, Noel hovered with white wings spread behind him, arms crossed as he coldly gazed down at Joseph's location.

Inside the colossal Magic Giant, Joseph's face twisted with rage upon hearing Noel's voice.

He roared furiously, "Damn it! It's one thing for Makarov, but you, a re brat, dare to look down on ?! Don't get too cocky, you bastard!"

Boom!

As soon as he finished speaking, a terrifying surge of purple magic erupted from the Phantom Lord headquarters.

The swirling vortex of energy spread across the sky, exerting imnse pressure on everyone present.

Both Fairy Tail and Phantom Lord mbers alike felt as if a trendous weight was crushing down on them, making it difficult to move, as if gravity itself had multiplied countless tis.

"Hmph."

Seeing Joseph's unleashed power, Noel let out a cold snort.

In response, his body radiated an imnse white magical aura.

The oppressive force vanished instantly as Noel's white energy clashed against Joseph's purple magic, the two powers colliding violently in mid-air.

The point where white and purple t distorted and fractured space itself, producing eerie, ripping sounds as though reality was being torn apart.

"This is incredible... Is this the power of the Ten Wizard Saints?"

"Noel is amazing!"

The onlookers stared in shock as the two opposing forces stretched across half the sky.

"This little ga ends here, Joseph," Noel said, his voice calm yet filled with authority. "You should know that this alone won't be enough to defeat ."

With that, Noel shot forward like a streak of light, aiming straight for Joseph's location.

"Break for !"

Boom!

With a single strike, the walls shattered into countless fragnts.

As the dust settled, Noel's gaze locked onto the figure of Joseph—standing with an eerie, twisted grin on his face, wearing a pointed hat, his long brown hair flowing around him.

"A battle between the Ten Wizard Saints can shake the heavens and split the earth," Noel said, his voice devoid of emotion. "It wasn't my intention for things to co to this, but this fight is now inevitable. Prepare to repent in hell, Joseph."

Joseph, who had been sitting all this ti, suddenly burst into wild laughter as if he had heard sothing hilarious.

"Hahaha! If Makarov had said that, I might have been a little wary. But you? A little brat who hasn't even grown all his hair yet? Hahaha! I'll let you experience my terror, Noel Rutherford."

"Oh? I'm looking forward to it." A white light flickered in Noel's hand.

"[Holy Light Magic – Blade of Light]"

A pure white longsword appeared in Noel's grasp.

Joseph's laughter stopped, and his expression turned serious.

Though he spoke with disdain, he didn't dare let his guard down against Noel, a fellow mber of the Ten Wizard Saints.

While the ranking of the Ten Wizard Saints wasn't solely determined by strength—factors like reputation and contributions also played a role—power was undeniably the foundation of everything.

Without sufficient strength, no amount of fa or rit could secure a place among the Ten.

"Before we begin, can I ask you one last question?" Noel suddenly spoke.

"Hm? What question?" Joseph, surrounded by countless strands of purple magic, glanced at Noel.

"Why? Why choose this mont to strike against Fairy Tail?"

"Why? Isn't the answer obvious?" Joseph sneered. "You truly possess trendous magical power, Noel Rutherford. So young, yet already among the Ten Wizard Saints. And in Makarov's guild, there are even more mages as powerful as you. It's infuriating."

With those words, Joseph's purple magic transford into several ghostly apparitions that shot toward Noel.

Noel's expression remained unchanged as he extended his hand.

Three defensive magic circles instantly materialized in front of him, blocking Joseph's attack.

"So... it's just this aningless jealousy?" Noel's voice was cold. "In that case... you can go die, Joseph."

As soon as the words fell, Noel's figure vanished from Joseph's sight.

Joseph's expression changed dramatically, and almost instinctively, he unleashed a massive surge of magical energy.

That instinctive reaction saved his life.

The icy white sword light, distorted by the interference of his purple magic, narrowly missed his face, leaving a clear, bleeding cut on his cheek.

Feeling the sting on his cheek, Joseph imdiately counterattacked.

A purple ghostly projectile shot from his hand, montarily blocking Noel before he quickly retreated, putting distance between them.

"As expected, Noel Rutherford's [Holy Light Magic] is said to be the fastest known magic. Is that rumor true?"

Joseph wiped the blood from his cheek and looked at Noel. "If this were an open battlefield, I would be extrely wary of your speed. But in a confined space like this, as long as I cover the entire area with my attacks, I can greatly suppress your speed advantage."

Joseph's magic surged violently, fluctuating in an erratic and chaotic manner.

The purple energy, brimming with a deathly aura, gathered in his hands—clearly, he intended to engage in a direct, brute-force clash with Noel.

However, Noel did not evade. Instead, he also began concentrating his white magic.

"Even without relying on speed, I will not lose to you." Noel's voice was cold.

Boom!

Two powerful auras shot skyward, and dark clouds instantly filled the sky.

A bolt of lightning split the heavens, striking down, while the earth beneath them cracked apart.

The entire Magnolia trembled as if the apocalypse had descended.

"What's happening?!"

"The sky... the sky is splitting apart!"

The mbers of Fairy Tail stared at the terrifying scene, their eyes wide with shock.

Bang!

In Noel and Joseph's hands, a pillar of white light and a pillar of purple light clashed violently, creating a massive shockwave.

Noel took a step forward, his free right hand releasing a beam of light toward Joseph.

Joseph, unfazed, caught the incoming attack with one hand and imdiately transford it into a purple ghostly projectile, sending it back at Noel.

Caught off guard, Noel was struck in the right arm and sent flying, crashing into a wall.

However, before Joseph could revel in his advantage, a white magic circle suddenly appeared beneath him, enveloping his entire body.

A sensation like being struck by lightning surged through his brain.

"Ahhh!" Joseph let out a pained scream as he was also blasted backward.

"Damn it... he's even more troubleso than I expected, damn bastard!" Joseph wiped a trace of blood from the corner of his mouth, staring at Noel, who was erging from the rubble of the shattered wall.

"You truly live up to your na as the master of Phantom Lord."

Noel clutched his injured right arm—the lingering pain was proof of Joseph's formidable offensive power.

In that brief exchange, both had managed to wound each other, giving them a rough gauge of their opponent's limits.

(Did we just fight to a draw? Damn it.)

The sa thought flashed through both Noel's and Joseph's minds.

Noel let out a cold snort, preparing to launch another attack, when suddenly, a dark figure appeared beside Joseph.

In his hand... was a face Noel recognized all too well.

"Lucy!" Noel cried out in shock.

"Master, I brought you a gift."

"Hah, that was fast." Joseph grinned wickedly. "Alright, step back now. Go deal with the other Fairy Tail intruders."

"Yes, Master." Gajeel gave Noel a wary glance before turning and leaving.

"Put Lucy down, Joseph! Fight head-on!" Noel roared in fury.

The powerful magic already radiating from his body surged to an even higher level, turning wild and uncontrollable.

His white magic flared up like a tangible storm.

Joseph sneered coldly. "Heh, I only like victories that are efficient, Noel Rutherford. If I can conserve my energy, I won't hesitate to use any ans necessary."

He shook Lucy slightly in his grasp, his wicked grin widening. "So, you'd better not resist—otherwise..." His voice turned sinister. "I'll break her bones. As long as she's still alive, that's all that matters."

"Despicable!"

Noel clenched his fists tightly.

(...Damn it, this is the worst possible situation. What should I do? What's the right move here?)
