Gajeel’s throat was being gripped by Rogue’s single hand, his entire body suspended in midair.

Looking at Gajeel, whose face was contorted in pain, Rogue revealed a mocking smile and said, "Heh heh heh, so this is the Gajeel everyone talks about? How boring."

From the stands, Levy scread, "Stop it! He’ll die!!"

anwhile, in the arena’s passageway, Frosch was running quickly toward the exit, muttering in a low voice, "Frosch has to go... He has to bring the real Rogue back."

Rogue finally loosened his grip slightly, letting Gajeel fall to the ground.

As he lay there, gradually being engulfed by the magic of the Shadow Dragon, Rogue said indifferently, "The shadows will slowly consu you, and then you’ll disappear forever. Rest in eternal darkness."

"Heh heh."

At that mont, a strange, chilling laugh suddenly ca from the fallen Gajeel.

Then, as his hand slowly clenched into a fist, he sneered, "You think this is enough to take down? I just ca up with a great idea."

Whoosh—

The flow of magic abruptly changed.

In Rogue’s astonished gaze, Gajeel opened his mouth and began to devour the shadowy magic swirling around him.

"Impossible!" Rogue stared in disbelief at Gajeel, who was slowly standing up.

"The shadows... were..."

"Devoured?!!"

Gajeel, his entire body shrouded in darkness to the point where even his face was unrecognizable, spoke in a low voice, "I don’t know who you are, but you’d better get the hell out of that guy’s body."

"You an Rogue?"

"And another thing—this guy’s na isn’t Rogue. He was once my underling, Ryos."

As dark magic surged around him, Gajeel’s expression turned cold and ferocious, his entire being exuding an aura like a demon from hell.

With a nacing grin, he said, "You never admired . Back then, I wasn’t even the man I am now, and no one knows that better than I do. The truth is... you were just afraid of ."

"Let remind you once again—what makes truly terrifying."

(Is this... Iron Shadow Dragon?)

That thought surfaced in everyone’s mind as they watched Gajeel.

"He’s actually using... two attributes?" Rogue muttered in shock.

But before Rogue could process the situation further, Gajeel, having fully absorbed the shadow magic, was already charging at him.

Instinctively, Rogue threw a punch.

Just as his fist was about to strike Gajeel’s face, Gajeel suddenly transford into a shadow, coiling around Rogue’s body.

Then, from within the darkness, an iron pillar shot out—slamming directly into the back of Rogue’s neck.

Rogue’s body lurched forward from the impact, then transford into a shadow as well.

To the astonishnt of the spectators, the two shadowy figures weaved through the ground, walls, and pillars, clashing in a battle too fast and intricate for outsiders to comprehend.

Boom!

At the exact mont their shadows collided once more, a hand suddenly erged from one of the shadows—Gajeel’s hand.

Without warning, he reached straight into the other shadow and yanked out a stunned Rogue.

What greeted Rogue was Gajeel’s ferocious grin—followed by a rapidly approaching fist.

Crash!

Gajeel’s punch sent Rogue flying, slamming him into a wall with such force that it left a massive hole.

Without giving him a chance to recover, Gajeel lunged forward again, grabbed Rogue by the head, and hurled him through another wall, shattering it into debris.

"[Iron Shadow Dragon’s... Roar!]"

Gajeel opened his mouth wide.

A terrifying surge of magic energy erupted like a raging waterfall, blasting forward with such force that the entire Crocus trembled under its power.

Like an enormous magical cannon, the devastating energy tore through everything in its path, engulfing Rogue completely.

The explosion sent shockwaves through the city, kicking up a dense cloud of smoke that covered half of it.

Thud.

At last, Rogue’s body crashed to the ground.

He had completely lost the ability to continue fighting.

"The match is decided! The winner is Gajeel! Fairy Tail gains 1 point!"

From the comntator’s booth, Chapati finally recovered from his shock and loudly declared the result.

In the arena, Gajeel stood over the fallen Rogue, breathing slightly heavily after the battle.

However, just as Rogue should have been unconscious, he suddenly spoke in an eerie voice, chuckling softly,

"Heh heh... So for the current Rogue, this is the limit, huh?"

"Huh?"

Gajeel barely had ti to voice his confusion before a dark shadow shot out from Rogue’s body.

In an instant, the shadow vanished right before Gajeel’s eyes.

"Disappeared?" Gajeel frowned, muttering to himself.

"Stop fighting!"

A timid voice suddenly rang out.

Gajeel looked up to see Frosch, the small creature dressed in a frog costu, standing between him and Rogue with arms outstretched, trying to shield Rogue.

Frosch’s body trembled, and with gritted teeth, he pleaded,

"If this keeps going, Rogue will die... Please, stop fighting!"

Gajeel looked at Frosch standing before him.

After a brief mont of silence, he spoke in an unusually gentle tone,

"The match is already decided. I won’t fight anymore."

"Frosch... Frosch..."

A weak voice called out from behind Frosch.

Startled, Frosch quickly turned around and ran to Rogue’s side, calling his na anxiously.

"Why are you here...?" Rogue asked hoarsely, looking at Frosch with difficulty.

Only then did he beco aware of the searing pain coursing through his body.

"It hurts... Huh? My body... Did I... lose?"

(He doesn’t rember? That shadow... What exactly was it?)

Watching Rogue’s confused expression, Gajeel couldn’t help but wonder.

"[Spears of Light: Rapid Fire]!"

Noel spread his hands wide, and multiple magic circles materialized behind him.

In an instant, nurous spears of light shot forth, striking the soldiers of the kingdom and sending them sprawling.

anwhile, on the other side, Natsu and the others fought back with their own magic, engaging the kingdom’s forces.

Although Fairy Tail and their allies had the upper hand, the kingdom’s soldiers displayed remarkable resilience, preventing them from breaking free of the battle.

Boom!

A sudden surge of magical energy made Noel tense up.

Without hesitation, he quickly leaped back.

The mont he vacated his position, a massive scythe slashed down, striking the spot where he had just been.

Regaining his balance, Noel looked up.

The Garou Knights, who had been defeated by Fairy Tail earlier, had sohow reappeared, once again blocking their path.

"I now fully understand your beliefs," the Garou Knights’ captain said as he stepped forward, his shattered armor revealing his battered form.

With a solemn expression, he continued, "From this point on, I will uphold our ideals. I will not allow the criminals to leave this castle alive."

"A comndable resolve and conviction... You really are persistent, aren’t you?"

Noel sighed, then straightened his posture, his expression turning serious.

"Very well... Let’s begin."

.............

rcurius Palace.

"Ah... Captain Arcadios? Why are you here?"

"Aren’t you under suspicion of treason...?"

"Where is the princess?"

Clad in armor, Arcadios didn’t spare a glance at the stunned guards.

Instead, he spoke with unwavering decisiveness.

"Uh... well..." The guards hesitated, exchanging uncertain looks.

Arcadios’ gaze turned sharp as a blade.

He coldly pressed, "Where is the princess?"

"...At the top floor."

Unable to withstand his intimidating presence, one of the guards finally answered.

As Arcadios strode away, the remaining guards murmured among themselves, watching his retreating figure.

"That’s the Cherry Blossom Armor..."

"His battle armor, huh..."

Walking up the passage toward the top floor, Arcadios remained expressionless.

Only his now-blue eyes glead with an unusual light.
