Lucy and Yukino's conversation wasn't entirely clear to Noel.

According to what Lucy later said, it seed to be about the transfer of Celestial Spirits.

That night, another piece of news arrived—Sabertooth's strongest five mbers were finally complete, with the last one arriving as a substitute to replace Yukino in the Grand Magic Gas.

At the sa ti, the news of Ed causing a commotion at the hotel and losing his qualification to compete gradually spread.

So people felt regret, while others secretly rejoiced.

Despite the eventful night, the third day of the Grand Magic Gas arrived on schedule.

Sitting at the comntator's seat, Chapati began his comntary as he had on the previous two days: "The Grand Magic Gas has finally entered its midpoint as we welco the third day."

"What kind of dramatic developnts will we witness today?" Yajima murmured.

"Today, we have invited Mr. Lahar from the Magic Council as our guest."

"Pleased to be here." Wearing glasses, Lahar maintained his usual refined deanor and greeted everyone with great courtesy.

Chapati looked at Lahar with curiosity: "Mr. Lahar, you are the captain of the Custody Enforcent Unit, correct?"

"Yes... I absolutely will not tolerate any unfair conduct in this tournant."

The mont his job was ntioned, Lahar's expression turned serious.

anwhile, in the crowd, Doranbolt looked at Lahar on stage with a sulky expression and muttered under his breath, "That guy Lahar even dragged along..."

"Alright, the competition for the third day is Pandemonium." After so casual chatter, Chapati officially introduced the event for the day.

"Each guild will send one participant."

"I'll go." In Fairy Tail's A Team, Erza volunteered.

Behind her, Lucy, Natsu, Gray, and Wendy—who was replacing Ed—cheered her on.

"I'll take this one for Team B." Noel glanced at the other teams before making his decision.

The other mbers of Team B had no objections.

"If Erza-chan is competing, then let go, Kagura." Milliana looked eager to participate.

Kagura gave a calm nod. "Approved."

"Don't do anything unnecessary in front of the Council mbers, Obra."

In the Raven Tail camp, a man clad in full armor warned their chosen participant, Obra.

For Blue Pegasus, Hibiki stepped forward.

Sabertooth sent the powerhouse from the first day, Black Thunder Orga.

Lamia Scale's representative was Jura.

As for Quatro Cerberus... or rather, Quatro Puppies, they sent a participant nad Nobarly.

Standing in the arena, the pumpkin-headed referee greeted everyone.

"I apologize for being absent yesterday due to my day off, pumpkin. Now, let explain the rules of Pandemonium, pumpkin."

As soon as he finished speaking, the entire stadium suddenly began to shake violently.

A surge of magic gathered at the center of the arena, rapidly forming a palace with an eerie and mysterious design.

"A temple where evil monsters reside—Pandemonium."

The pumpkin-headed announcer murmured.

All eight participants turned their attention to the massive palace.

So looked surprised, so remained calm, while others were visibly stunned.

"You said monsters reside here?" Jura asked the pumpkin-headed referee.

"That's just the setting, pumpkin~ nothing more." The referee nodded before continuing.

"Inside this temple, there are 100 magical beasts. However, they are rely magically manifested constructs and will not actively attack you, so please rest assured. The monsters are divided into five ranks: D, C, B, A, and S. There is 1 S-rank monster, 4 A-rank monsters, 15 B-rank monsters, 30 C-rank monsters, and 50 D-rank monsters. By the way, if you're wondering how strong a D-rank monster is..."

At that mont, the magic crystal projection in the arena displayed a D-rank beast.

With a single strike, it shattered a massive stone statue into pieces.

The sheer speed and power of the attack were no less than that of a top-tier wizard.

"Filled with these monsters—and even stronger ones—a total of 100 magical beasts, this is Pandemonium, pumpkin~. The higher the rank, the greater the combat strength, exponentially so. You may think of it that way. As for the S-rank beast, it's so powerful that even the Ten Wizard Saints might not be able to defeat it."

As he said this, the pumpkin-headed referee cast a aningful glance at Noel and Jura.

However, both of them remained completely composed.

Not getting the reaction he had hoped for, the pumpkin referee sighed and continued, "Each of you will take turns choosing the number of monsters to face. This is called the Challenge Right. If a participant selects three monsters, then three will appear in the temple. If they successfully defeat them, they will earn three points. The next participant will then choose from the remaining 97 monsters, and this process will repeat until either all the monsters are defeated or all participants run out of magic power, at which point the event will end."

"It's like a subtraction ga," Millianna remarked, shaking her head with amusent.

"That's right. After each round, your ability to assess the situation will be crucial," the pumpkin-headed referee continued.

"However, as I ntioned earlier, the monsters have different ranks. Regardless of whether a participant chooses to challenge one or five monsters, the rank of those monsters will be completely random."

Blue Pegasus's Hibiki wore a confident smile and said, "So, in other words, we need to co up with a strategy to avoid encountering the S-rank beast."

"If it's completely random, then such a strategy would be aningless," Orga remarked.

"Not necessarily," Hibiki shook his head.

"As long as probability theory and my Archive Magic exist, a strategy can still be formulated to so extent."

"The points awarded are based only on the number of defeated monsters and have nothing to do with their rank," the pumpkin-headed referee explained.

"Once a participant enters the temple, they cannot leave unless they successfully complete their challenge."

"I see. So what happens if soone collapses inside?" Noel asked with great interest.

"Any points they earned before their turn will remain unchanged. However, the number of monsters they defeat during that round will be reset to zero, and they will be eliminated from the competition," the referee answered.

Then, he pulled out a lot-drawing box and said, "Now, please draw your lots."

Once all eight participants had drawn their lots, they each looked at their assigned order.

"First, huh?" Noel glanced at his lot, and a slow smile curled at the corner of his lips.

"Noel is first? That's so good luck... I got the eighth position," Erza noted.

"Yeah, a ga where victory is decided by luck—how nerve-wracking," Noel murmured.

"Luck? Are you referring to the lot drawing?" The pumpkin-headed referee shook his head.

"No... not necessarily. In this ga, controlling the pace and making accurate situational judgnts are far more important than the order of battle."

"No, you're wrong," Noel chuckled, watching as cold sweat began to form on the referee's face.

He then declared, "This... isn't even a ga. I'll take them all. Challenge Right: 100."

"T-That's impossible!" The referee shouted, watching in shock as Noel stepped forward.

"The ga isn't designed for a single person to eliminate all the monsters!"

"No problem," Noel responded without looking back.

Then, he stepped into Pandemonium.

The mont he did, the entire temple erupted with blinding light and violent explosions.

The roars of beasts and the sound of collapsing structures rged into a symphony of destruction.

That lone figure, standing amidst the encroaching monsters, appeared so fragile—yet so unwavering, like an immovable pillar reaching toward the heavens.

His presence was like the sole beacon of light in an endless abyss, dazzling and unmatched.
