However, the crowd was far from welcoming.
Instead of cheers, they were t with a chorus of boos.
Only a few scattered voices showed support for Ed.
The rest of the team couldn't help but feel a bit dejected.

The mont the five girls made their entrance, the stadium's energy soared to an unprecedented level.
As expected, an all-female team was bound to receive special treatnt no matter where they went.
"In fifth place, shining like a beacon in the darkness, the azure wings—Blue Pegasus!! In fourth place, the goddess of love and battle, the sacred destroyers—Lamia Scale!"
The fifth-place team, Blue Pegasus, was unsurprisingly led by Ichiya, along with the handso trio of Hibiki, Eve, and Ren.
The only unfamiliar figure among them was a mysterious creature in a rabbit costu that even the Fairy Tail mbers didn't recognize.
As for the fourth-place team, they were led by Jura, representing Lamia Scale.
However, there was also a new face among them—a naturally airheaded girl nad Sherria, who was actually the younger sister of Sherry.
"Next up, in third place from the preliminaries—oh my, this is quite the surprise." Chapati's voice suddenly rose slightly, sounding a bit astonished.
"A guild participating for the first ti has made it into the top three—Midnight's Guerrilla Squad, Raven Tail!"
As an ominous black mist swirled around them and dark feathers drifted through the air, the five mbers of Raven Tail slowly made their entrance.
Leading the group was a man clad entirely in armor, and the entire team exuded an unsettling aura.
"Raven Tail!!" Natsu exclaid in shock upon seeing the group.
"That's the guild led by the master's son, Ivan..." Erza said grimly, her expression turning serious.
"But isn't that...?" Lucy looked over at Erza, her voice filled with uncertainty. "A dark guild?"
Up in the stands, Makarov was visibly agitated, strongly voicing his opposition.
However, Chapati quickly explained that Raven Tail had recently beco an officially recognized guild, rendering Makarov's protests aningless.
Left with no other option, all he could do was grit his teeth in frustration.
"Alright, only two teams remain from the preliminary round!" Chapati's words stirred the crowd into a hushed excitent.
One of the remaining teams was, without a doubt, Sabertooth.
However, the identity of the other team was a complete mystery, sparking speculation and discussion throughout the arena.
After all, with all of Fiore's major guilds already revealed except for Sabertooth, curiosity about this dark horse—one even more unexpected than Raven Tail—was at an all-ti high.
Chapati didn't leave them hanging for long.
"Now, it's ti to introduce the team that placed second in the preliminaries—ah, now this is truly unexpected! In second place, we have... the absolute, undefeated champions—Sabertooth!!"
The mont Chapati made the announcent, the crowd's murmuring grew even louder.
To everyone in the arena, Sabertooth had been the obvious pick for first place.
Yet, sohow, they had only managed to take second in the preliminaries—an outco that shocked many.
As the five mbers of Sabertooth walked onto the field, their expressions were noticeably sour.
For a guild like Sabertooth, anything less than first place was nothing short of failure.
"And now, we've finally arrived at this mont—only one team remains to be revealed. I'm sure everyone is dying to know who they are!" Chapati's voice was filled with excitent.
Then, almost gasping in surprise, he continued, "Oh my, this is truly unbelievable! Could they be the key to soaring once more like fallen wings reborn...?"
White radiance intertwined with golden lightning, the imnse magic power contained within the spectacle leaving everyone in awe.
A massive emblem of Fairy Tail materialized within the glow and lightning, and then, under the astonished gazes of the entire arena, a group of individuals clad in matching white uniforms slowly stepped onto the field.
"...Fairy Tail Team B!!!" Chapati's voice reached a dramatic peak.
"Noel-nii!!"
"Mira!!"
"Gajeel!!"
"Juvia!!"
"Laxus and Noel in the sa team?! That's totally unfair!!"
The five mbers of Fairy Tail Team A stared in shock as Noel and his team entered the arena, their jaws nearly hitting the floor.
The entire stadium fell into a brief silence, overwheld by the unexpected developnt.
Only Chapati's voice continued to echo through the venue:
"This is unbelievable! Not only was Fairy Tail Team B the first to clear the preliminaries, but they also finished a full thirty minutes ahead of second-place Sabertooth! This is simply incredible!"
After a brief mont of silence, the entire arena erupted into heated discussions about the sudden appearance of Fairy Tail Team B.
Ultimately, it was Makarov's close fri—er, dear friend—Yajima who stepped in to confirm the legitimacy of the team's participation.
When Blue Pegasus' Jenny expressed concern over whether this setup was unfair, Natsu was the first to jump up, pointing at Noel's group.
"What kind of joke is that?! Even if we're from the sa guild, we'll still fight at full power! No holding back! Since you're entering as a different team, that makes you our enemy! I'm not gonna lose to you guys!!"
"That's exactly what I wanted to hear."
Gajeel stepped forward, smirking as he taunted Natsu.
"Eighth place squad."
Natsu, struck at his weakest point, had no words to counter and imdiately backed off in defeat.
"Do your best, Ed. I'd love to see how much you've grown in these seven years."
Noel said with a mischievous smile, looking at a flustered Ed.
"Noel-nii..." Ed scratched his head, unsure of how to respond.
"We won't be holding back in this festival." Mira added with a playful grin.
anwhile, Rogue, one of Sabertooth's Twin Dragons, gazed at Gajeel from a distance with a complicated expression.
