"[Majesty of the Celestial God]."
Facing a now-serious Ophelia, even in peak condition, Ishu would have had to fully concentrate to counter her.
But with the injuries he had sustained while being pursued by Tsukiyo, the longer the battle dragged on, the worse it would be for him.
He had no choice—he had to take the offensive, seizing the initiative before it slipped from his grasp.
As Ishu's magic activated, a strange sensation spread across the battlefield.
It was as if an unfamiliar substance had been infused into the once-clear air.
Ophelia, being the first to bear the brunt of the effect, imdiately sensed it—her magic was subtly suppressed.
The flow of her mana slowed by the slightest fraction, almost imperceptibly so, yet the interference was real.
(A field-control spell—Majesty of the Celestial God. It weakens an opponent's magic power by five percent while increasing the strength of sky-attributed magic by ten percent. So... you've finally decided to go all out? But field-control spells consu an enormous amount of mana. Given your current state, how long can you possibly last? Do you truly believe you can defeat before you collapse?)
Watching the blood constantly trickling from Ishu's lips, Ophelia furrowed her brows slightly, clenching her fists ever so subtly.
"[Celestial God - Gungnir]."
Ishu had no way of knowing Ophelia's inner thoughts.
Even if he did, he would probably only respond with a bitter smile.
The only thing on his mind was how to defeat Ophelia before his injuries worsened.
Bringing his hands together, he channeled a massive surge of magic.
From high above, a colossal sword—ford by intensely compressed, storm-like winds—materialized and ca crashing down toward Ophelia.
Ophelia lifted her head, gazing at the descending celestial sword.
The blue radiance in her eyes shone like the stars as she reached out toward the skyborne weapon and softly uttered:
"[ntal Interruption]."
Crack!
A sudden sound echoed through the sky—sothing unseen had shattered.
Imdiately, the celestial sword lost all montum, gradually slowing until it ca to a complete halt.
Then, as if its energy had been severed, the massive sword of wind slowly crumbled apart, dissolving into pure magic power.
"Now it's my turn to attack—[ntal Pulse]."
Ophelia extended both hands forward.
Multiple beams of energy, each glowing with different colors, surged from her palms, streaking through the air like lightning.
Their paths were erratic, unpredictable, striking from impossible angles as they hurtled toward Ishu.
Ishu's pupils contracted slightly as he rapidly calculated the trajectories of each incoming strike.
He moved swiftly, dodging several of the beams, but a few still managed to hit him.
His already worsening injuries deepened, forcing him to cough up blood.
Yet, despite his wounds, Ishu had already closed the distance between himself and Ophelia, his hands gathering sky magic in preparation for a counterattack.
"[Aerial ditation]."
Watching Ishu approach, Ophelia's brows furrowed slightly.
She softly murmured the spell's na, and in the next mont, her small figure defied gravity, rising off the ground.
She floated effortlessly in midair, then glided backward like a phantom, causing Ishu's attack to strike only empty space.
Ishu showed no surprise at this.
Given Ophelia's abilities, if he had been able to approach her so easily, he would have instead worried that he had walked into a trap.
Looking at Ophelia, who now hovered in the air, Ishu's expression remained unchanged.
Ignoring the fresh blood seeping from his wounds, he softly declared:
"[Celestial God Radiance Ray]."
A deafening roar suddenly echoed through the sky.
Several transparent energy beams descended from above, radiating intense celestial magic.
They fell like teors from beyond the realm, tearing through the air with a sharp, piercing sound.
In the blink of an eye, they had already closed in on Ophelia.
(This is bad—I miscalculated. Now that I'm in the air, there's no way to evade this attack.)
As she watched the descending assault, Ophelia imdiately ca to this realization.
(Since I can't dodge it, there's no need to try.)
Ophelia stretched her hands forward, forming a strange hand seal.
A massive surge of magic gathered before her as she spoke with a solemn expression, "[ntal Bastion]."
Transparent waves of ntal energy gradually converged from all directions, forming the vague silhouette of a fortress in front of her.
The descending celestial magic clashed against the hazy structure, creating friction but failing to break through.
However, despite successfully blocking the attack, there was no trace of relief on Ophelia's face.
She had already noticed that the mont she cast her defensive spell, Ishu had prepared another assault from below.
"[Celestial God's Arbiter]."
Within a radius of more than ten ters around Ishu, all the surrounding air was instantly drawn toward him, creating a brief vacuum in the space around him.
Then, a towering transparent figure—over ten ters in height—gradually took form behind him.
The translucent figure wielded a vaguely shaped weapon resembling a spear and hurled it forcefully toward Ophelia.
As the spear tore through the air, the surrounding space distorted in its wake, and the deafening sonic boom nearly shattered the eardrums of everyone present.
The spear shot directly at Ophelia, striking precisely at the mont when she had a brief gap between casting spells.
The timing was near-perfect.
As the spear roared through the sky, it detonated with a thunderous explosion, sending up a cloud of dust and smoke, blooming like a gray-white flower in midair.
The violent burst of magic painted the sky with a dazzling radiance.
Before the smoke could fully disperse, a muffled groan ca from within.
Then, a cold voice followed:
"[ntal Shockwave]."
Boom!
Transparent ripples of energy cascaded from the sky, surging toward Ishu.
As the waves expanded, their attack radius grew, and by the ti they neared him, they had already widened into a massive seventy-ter-wide circle.
There was no space for Ishu to dodge—he had no choice but to brace himself for impact.
With a thunderous explosion, everything within the range of the shockwave was reduced to dust.
Rows of trees collapsed, and the ground sank several centiters under the sheer force.
As the dust settled, Ophelia landed on the ground, staring across at Ishu from a distance.
Both of them were in a dire state, their bodies covered in fresh wounds.
At that mont, they simultaneously gathered their remaining magic power, preparing to unleash their final strike against each other.
"[ntal Ultimate Art: ntal Annihilation]!!!"
A powerful ntal field compressed and condensed within Ophelia's grasp, forming a glowing blue sphere.
The pulsating energy it emitted was enough to make one's heart tremble.
Then, upon reaching a critical point, Ophelia hurled the energy sphere straight toward Ishu.
"[Celestial Ultimate Art: Divine Radiance]!!"
Ishu's expression was solemn as the translucent figure behind him beca nearly solid.
The figure opened its eyes, unleashing a wave of destructive energy that spread outward, forming a cyan storm to et Ophelia's incoming blue sphere.
BOOM!
A deafening explosion erupted.
The dazzling brilliance of the clash made it impossible to keep one's eyes open.
The divine windstorm and the expanding sphere of ntal energy collided and compressed against each other, signaling the prelude to annihilation.
The sheer force twisted reality itself, threatening to obliterate everything in existence.
As the battle reached its peak, the two opposing forces finally detonated, sending an indescribable, terrifying energy shockwave outward, reducing everything in its path to ruin.
As the dust settled, Ishu was seen kneeling on one knee, his abdon soaked in blood, his clothes entirely stained crimson.
Blood continued to trickle from the corner of his mouth.
Opposite him, Ophelia lay on the shattered ground, her sky-blue eyes gradually losing their radiance.
