"I have a feeling sothing big is about to happen... But seriously, why am I involved in such a dangerous operation? And why is it just the few of us again?" Lucy complained loudly while sitting inside the vehicle.
"I think it's a hassle too, but stop whining already," Gray sighed beside her.
"These are the mbers Master chose, so stop complaining. Shouldn't we be living up to his expectations?" Erza spoke up, seeing everyone looking unmotivated.
The group fell silent, except for Natsu, who was half-dead from motion sickness.
After thinking for a mont, Lucy said, "But if it's a fight, aren't Juvia and Gajeel around too?"
"They seem to have other tasks to take care of, so they couldn't co with us. Otherwise, we'd have a better chance in this battle," Noel shrugged as he explained.
"This is actually a good thing," Erza said.
"We're all original mbers and know each other well. This is our first ti working with other guilds, so ensuring our own teamwork doesn't fall apart is the most important thing."
"I can see it," Happy suddenly spoke from the front of the vehicle, imdiately drawing everyone's attention.
"It's the eting point."
Everyone looked up and saw a mansion resembling a castle.
However, the castle had an oddly tasteless design, with multiple heart-shaped decorations that left them speechless.
Upon arriving, the group got out of the vehicle, pushed open the door, and walked inside.
"What a tacky place," Lucy comnted after glancing around at the heart-thed decorations scattered all over the villa.
Erza explained, "This is the mansion of Bob, the Master of Blue Pegasus."
"Bob?" For so reason, upon hearing that na, Noel felt a chill seep into his heart.
It was as if his body instinctively resisted—or perhaps feared—that na.
"Oh, it's that guy," Gray muttered, as if recalling sothing unsettling.
The impression Bob had left on him was evidently strong, as his voice trembled slightly. "I can never get used to him..."
"Well, don't say it like that. Even though he's like that, he's still a formidable mage that even our Master finds troubleso."
"I see..."
"Are... we there yet?" Natsu, still dizzy from the ride, mumbled groggily.
"We're already here, Natsu," Noel said softly.
Suddenly, several unfamiliar voices rang out.
"Welco, mbers of Fairy Tail! We've been expecting you."
"We are..."
"The mbers..."
"Chosen by Blue Pegasus..."
"N!!"
A spotlight from the ceiling shone down, revealing three strikingly handso n posing dramatically.
"Byakuya no Hibiki."
"Seiya no Eve."
"Kuya no Ren."
The three n introduced themselves.
"The Trins of Blue Pegasus! So cool! And that guy nad Hibiki—he's always ranked among the top in the Weekly Sorcerer magazine's 'Most Wanted Boyfriend' list! Hibiki Lates!"
Lucy's eyes sparkled as she gazed at the three n in admiration.
"Ah! Damn it, I forgot to wear my clothes!" Gray shouted from the side, standing there shirtless.
anwhile, Natsu was still recovering from his motion sickness, looking half-dead.
Seeing this scene, Lucy couldn't help but sigh. "This side is a total ss..."
But when she casually turned her head and caught sight of Noel, she quickly corrected herself. (No, maybe we actually have the upper hand...)
In terms of appearance alone, Noel was indeed more refined and handso than the three from Blue Pegasus, but the difference wasn't too vast.
The real contrast lay in their deanor and behavior.
The poses and looks of the Trins were certainly appealing, but compared to Noel's natural elegance and noble temperant—cultivated through generations of an ancient family—their performance seed slightly exaggerated.
That subtle distinction widened the gap between them.
While Lucy was lost in thought, the three n had already walked over and respectfully bowed to Noel.
"Noel-sama, we are truly grateful for your care back then!"
"Eh???" Noel blinked in confusion.
"We were fortunate enough to receive your guidance during a past mission, and we sincerely thank you for it," Hibiki said.
"Uh, it was nothing." Noel scratched his cheek, unsure how else to respond.
Suddenly, from the top of the staircase, a voice so saccharine it was almost nauseating rang out:
"You lot, that's enough already."
"What's with this overly sweet voice?" Lucy muttered, rubbing her arms.
"Ichiya-sama."
"Ichiya..." Erza repeated the na with a slight tremor in her voice, her expression suddenly turning extrely unpleasant.
"It's been a while, Miss Erza," Ichiya greeted as he slowly descended the staircase.
"Y-You... You're participating too?" Erza's voice carried a hint of fear.
"I've longed to see you, my sweetheart," Ichiya continued from the staircase, "for I was born to love y—"
Before he could finish his sentence, a shadow flashed past.
BAM!
Ichiya, who had been gracefully sliding down the staircase, was abruptly sent flying by a powerful kick.
Everyone stared in shock at the culprit—Noel—who himself looked slightly surprised.
"Uh... Sorry, I don't know why, but my body just moved on its own," Noel said, scratching his cheek.
anwhile, Ichiya, now lying on the floor, got a clear look at his attacker.
His expression imdiately turned from shock to sheer terror.
"Noel!!! You're here too???"
"Hmm?" Noel tilted his head. Do I have so kind of history with this guy?
While Noel was still trying to figure it out, Ichiya had already crawled over, clutching onto Noel's pant leg, tears and snot streaming down his face.
"Noel-sama, I didn't notice you earlier! That was truly disrespectful of ! Please, I beg your forgiveness!"
Watching this bizarre scene unfold, Lucy nudged Erza with her elbow and whispered, "Erza, what exactly happened between Ichiya and Noel in the past?"
Hearing Lucy's question, both Happy and Gray leaned in curiously as well.
Erza, whose expression had now returned to normal, explained with an amused smile,
"Well... a few years ago, Noel attended a regular council eting with the Guild Master. Back then, Noel had very long hair and, well... he had a rather feminine appearance as a child.
So... Ichiya mistook Noel for a girl and tried to flirt with him...
The mont Noel realized what was happening, he completely lost it and gave Ichiya the beating of a lifeti. If the council mbers hadn't stepped in to stop him, Ichiya might have already t the Grim Reaper that day.
Even so, nearly every single bone in Ichiya's body that could be broken was broken.
Since then, Noel has never grown his hair past his shoulders again. And almost every ti he runs into Ichiya... well, Ichiya ends up with a few broken bones."
After hearing Erza's explanation, everyone's expressions turned strange.
