Is it not even a case of old friends meeting but not recognizing each other?

One of life’s pleasures is when someone you admire for so long actually calls you by your alias.

Though the reaction might be a bit slow, Lord Rom can even recognize the Tyrant. It’s quite a delightful progress.

Although this joy seems hard to empathize with; the moment after recognizing the person, small crystals begin to stain with blood on Rom’s still-not-fully-stretched-out body.

Everywhere else is fine, but such a change at the head looks entirely like reddened eyes, giving the feeling of entering a berserk state.

Is this an acute reaction?

Although there’s no direct attack, just by looking, one can tell it’s hard to catch up on old times. Fu Qian couldn’t help but sigh in his heart.

This is still understandable.

To have something follow you wherever you go, untouchable and unbeatable, solely targeting your plans to ruin them.

Until everything collapses entirely, you’re left with no choice but to find a place to barely survive, only to look up and see it again. Anyone’s mood wouldn’t stand it.

"It’s okay, brainstorm for a while first."

After reflecting deeply and realizing he might have gone too far, Fu Qian casually waved his hand, indicating not to rush and to take some time to think it over.

Of course, saying something like laughing off past enmities is impossible now, and Lord Rom wouldn’t believe it.

Only by considering that He seems a bit dull at the moment, leaving some room for His revenge plan, could show a bit of sincerity.

Even his words matched his actions; the next moment, Fu Qian indeed didn’t pay any more attention, turning to examine another item.

Another notebook?

...

It must be said that during this Sea of Ashes scientific expedition, the notebook has consistently been an immersive element.

Just lying on the platform, with a leather cover, even a pen inserted inside.

As if someone like himself once stood here gazing into the distance, but ultimately found nothing, throwing away the notebook in anger.

Very smooth, although there are still two doubts.

First, this notebook is slightly different from the one he saw before; this one’s cover is actually red and clearly more exquisite and luxurious.

Secondly, and more importantly, Fu Qian remarked that when he walked over earlier, it seemed that spot was empty, without this item.

So—

Fu Qian spontaneously picked it up, and at the same time, a ring named "Mechanical Tyrant’s Fist" appeared in his hand.

Just as expected.

Observing his specially modified timer, at that moment, Fu Qian confirmed he was not mistaken.

In absolute silence, time had returned to the origin, the moment he opened the door.

...

Even in an illusory world, never give up on searching for realism and logic.

The sudden appearance of the notebook has its reasons, as Engraving Wisdom had seamlessly transitioned again, now reaching depth four.

It’s just that this transition was so smooth, making it hard to detect.

From this perspective, could this be considered a gradual reflection of deeper involvement?

The self bees increasingly harder to locate, and the elements involved more and more secretive.

For instance, Lord Rom.

In summary, still falling deeper into the mire, the more you struggle, the deeper you sink, and a new maze has begun.

Though when it es to such mazes, Professor Fu’s attitude has always been different from most people.

How does the saying go?

Every crisis is an opportunity for crisis management, and the more detours you take, the more paths you’ve walked.

While putting the ring away, Fu Qian eagerly opened the notebook—wait a second, isn’t there something wrong with the numbering?

And immediately, he made a new discovery.

Not depth four, but depth five?

...

There is content, but not much.

A notebook not thin, yet only one page has content, fitting the earlier presumption of no significant observations.

But on closer inspection, this stuff seems not like an observation report.

On the only page with words, remarkably, there are only five lines, followed by specific content—

[The starting point is the end point, and the end point is the starting point]

As Fu Qian’s gaze swept over, he instantly caught sight of a familiar phrase, precisely the insight from Brother of Wisdom Creation’s earlier notebook, and the only content on the fourth line.

If this still can’t inform anything, there’s the corresponding number upfront—Act Four.

Other parts are Act One, Act Two, Act Three, Act Five...

As an academic worker, Fu Qian has never been strict about report formatting.

But such naming is decidedly non-academic—not the format of observation reports, but perhaps movie-viewing reports?

Is this a script directory?

Almost instantly, Fu Qian started paring the encounters along the way with the content above, even beginning to understand why the cover style of this book was different.

Is this a summary of one Engraving Wisdom after another? Directly corresponding to the depths and extracting the thematic ideas from each act?

It can only be said it has quite a déjà vu, even helping to justify previous judgments about scene transitions.

But the reason for saying there’s a problem with the numbering is due to this.

Counting all the way down, even up to now, it should still just be Act Four unless—

Fu Qian’s gaze fell on the first line.

[Not where the Star fell, but where the Pseudo-God fell]

...

Oh?

Not only the expression styles are similar, but the content also obviously correlates to a fall point, very much centered on the same theme.

But aside from such evident analytical results, for an academic worker never forgetting scientific inquiry, it would undoubtedly spark more associations.

In Fu Qian’s view, this first act’s title might be somewhat obscure, but with a little thought, one realizes it’s quite fitting with what was gleaned in that Engraving Wisdom during the first arrival under the condition of opening the Burial Scroll.

Even the first Brain Jellyfish encountered during that event mentioned something akin to the vanished notebook.

Including the missing subject in this sentence, Fu Qian expressed he could instantly supplement—source of the Ashes.

Under his guidance, that Brain Jellyfish once mentioned a puzzle he encountered in his research, namely, "Is the Star’s fall point truly the source of the Ashes?"

Even leading this subject into the following sentence, reading it once poses no problem at all.

The fall point he eventually found had nothing, only a destructive force that drove this outsider insane, dropping SAN Points.

Meanwhile, the term "Pseudo-God", precisely refers to the Transcendent form of himself, this outsider.

The so-called fall, does it mean frenzied loss of SAN Points? In the sense of "outsiders die within this hole"?

In summary, if starting to count from that event, then calling it Act Five makes perfect sense.

Thanks to a good spirit of exploration and summary, Fu Qian momentarily connected everything with ease, seeming to resolve the inquiries.

And this isn’t the only gain.

The continually switching Engraving Wisdom gets defined here as different scenes in a script? Organically bined into a whole?

This pattern he seems to have seen before too—All Fools’ Day, those frenzied young women and men.
