Heroes think alike, at that mont, the Clown and Fu Qian were like two rogues critiquing the younger generation.
And the final conclusion was that the younger generation was not to be feared, full of disappointnt.
"How could you..."
As for the person being critiqued, they obviously could not accept the sudden change in the situation, nor could they understand why the Clown could still move.
"Don’t interrupt."
Unfortunately, the Clown just waved his hand dismissively, not even interested in having him join the conversation.
And the next mont, that mummy made of long white feathers truly made no sound again.
Not only that, but that body was rapidly disintegrating, as though the next mont it would drift away on the wind, yet this transformation was halted in an instant.
"In such a situation, the first reaction is actually to flee, rather than take a risk to understand the situation and find a chance to divide us two, indeed too diocre."
Fu Qian clearly understood why the body would disintegrate.
Seeing the situation wasn’t right, the Death Angel was decisively preparing to escape. Although it wasn’t the true form, it didn’t want to leave even a trace of a projection.
Even to be more inconspicuous, using speaking as a cover, it was probably never intended to find out the answer to the question.
"Apart from ranking, this guy has almost nothing better than the Lord, maybe he’s just more conceited?"
Regarding this, he also rcilessly critiqued, comparing Ah Wei to the Lord in front.
"Heh heh... how did you know I could hear?"
With a low chuckle, the Clown clearly didn’t mind Fu Qian evaluating his forr leader this way and directly shifted the topic back to himself, curious how Fu Qian knew he was pretending.
Roar—
Before Fu Qian could answer, a beastly roar echoed beside them, it was Holle who had been knocked away, rallying once more, launching another attack.
After all, they had tead up before, and Fu Qian held back a bit earlier, refraining from using a regular punch.
Shh—
This ti, the Clown brought his index finger to his lips in a gesture.
Uh—
A similar scene played out, Holle, who was already leaping into the air, not only had his roar abruptly cut off, his body was frozen mid-air like a statue.
Considering the angle and force of his jump, he ended up flying past Fu Qian and the Clown, directly plumting into the dried-up lake and rolling all the way down.
As for the other Demigod players, they appeared to be much more compliant.
Since Ah Wei’s earlier amazent, they had been hesitating in place, no longer initiating attacks, including those Ghosts.
It makes sense; originally, Ah Wei was using his control over the Unseen Hillock to forcibly impose his will, issuing commands, and now they were rely without guidance.
Why didn’t Holle stop?
In Fu Qian’s view, it was simple. It was ntioned before that his mind was already not very clear, and he probably was acting not without command but purely out of instinct, destroying whatever he saw.
"Because your tastes are much better."
Watching the Ashen ssenger tumble all the way into the lake bottom, Fu Qian didn’t delay in answering the Clown’s question, even complinting his personal qualities.
"And in this place, ranking might not be that important."
...
The world was vast and desolate.
According to Ah Wei earlier, the degree of Ashfall at the Unseen Hillock should have been quite high.
Yet even though "Eternal Night" descending likely ant mission failure, Fu Qian still delightfully discussed heroes by the lakeside, eloquently speaking.
"You have an extraordinary sense of sll and an insight into chaos, but uninteresting chaos is even more tedious than boring rules. When you told you were part of a team led by Ah Wei, I was already a bit suspicious.
"Stirring up things is, of course, your hobby, but it’s hard to imagine how much fun such a diocre character’s plan could bring you."
Fu Qian pointed to Ah Wei standing there.
The latter didn’t seem completely petrified, still retaining so consciousness, but unfortunately, he was subject to more constraints.
"Of course, less fun is still fun, especially since it seems this way, at least your most hated wagon is destroyed, so agreeing doesn’t seem bad, but there’s a ti issue here—Ah Wei’s already been here for quite a few days."
Fu Qian clearly also considered certain objective conditions aside from sentintal reasons.
"If you guys ford the team yesterday and acted today, then I think it would be more reasonable.
"But over such a long ti, you haven’t figured out a way to upgrade the fun, allowing him to carry out such a boring control plan? I don’t believe it."
Fu Qian obviously had great confidence in certain characteristics of the Clown, and the next mont, he pointed to his own head.
"Not to ntion there’s a small detail here, did Ah Wei ever tell you that the one who brought him in looks just like you, a Clown?
"According to my guess, the possibility is still quite high, and wouldn’t such an intriguing event backdrop really make you more enthusiastic?"
...
Do good, don’t ask the future.
What Fu Qian was talking about was the matter of bringing Ah Wei in, in order to let the Unseen Hillock’s natives feel a touch of freedom, a Clown’s image was specially chosen back then to give them a bit of false hope.
And though it seed like Ah Wei remained low-profile after arriving, if the Clown knew about the situation, undoubtedly he would have even greater enthusiasm for Ah Wei’s plan and, in turn, more subjective initiative.
"In fact, the first thing Ah Wei said to was this."
Sure enough, in response to Fu Qian’s supplental little detail, the Clown admitted he knew about it.
"Even though it was clearly more of a probe, things did beco interesting for a mont, so I decided to be a bit more patient with him."
While reminiscing, his little hand wiped across his face, and two eyes erged from the pitch-black eye sockets.
"What a pity... he’s even duller than the original people, with only fear and petty speculations about the guide who brought him in.
"In contrast, I’d rather believe in the psychological counseling explanation, you’re probably not here to control ’Eternal Night’ like him, right?"
It can only be said the style was becoming increasingly abstract, and with such a face, he glanced at Fu Qian, the Clown did not hesitate, engaging in comrcial mutual flattery.
"Of course not, I’m actually here to stop Eternal Night, even to completely strike against the Dark Side."
A very relieved Fu Qian, even sharing the strategic goal of this trip.
"Oh? So you just believed I had more exciting ideas, allowing him to operate without interference? What if I really don’t act, and he succeeds after the countdown?"
The Clown seed sowhat surprised by this honesty, not expecting he was held in such high regard.
"Then I would have failed, and it would explain that I overestimated you."
Fu Qian’s tone was as it should be.
