Alia was in the process of picking up her phone to dial Maria's number when Eugene blurted out.
"I think Henry is here."
"He is?"
Alia snapped her head backwards only to see a tall and smart-looking young man in plain blue jeans and a white tee shirt paired with a matching face cap and sunglasses walk through the door.
His head pivoted to the right, scanning the face of the restaurant guest seated in that section before moving to the left where Alia and the others were seated.
"Over here." Alia partially stood up, waving at him. A smile slowly stretched across his lips as he gingerly approached her secluded area.
"Hello, Amy." Henry made his way around the table, acknowledging Eugene and Pascal briefly as he reached out to hug Alia, who was now fully on her feet.
"Still wearing disguises, I see." Alia teased, her smile broadening as she pulled away from Henry to observe his slightly masked face.
Aside from the face cap and dark sunshade that concealed the top half of his face, a realistic human hair fake beard and moustache covered his clean-shaven chin.
Alia instantly observed the bluish-black healing bruise on the top and bottom left side of his lips. She also noticed the healing bruise on the bridge of his broken nose which slightly extended sideways, disappearing behind his wide square shaped and super dark sunglasses.
"How about we sit down?" Henry gestured to Alia's seat, seeing the frozen and agonizing look in her eyes.
"Yeah!" Alia mumbled, crouching back in her seat, her body slightly trembling with guilt and rage. She instantly lost her appetite for the food before her as she watched Henry sit beside her while scanning the silent faces of the two n before him.
"This place looks cozy and I bet that pasta tastes delicious." Henry eyed the food Eugene was eating.
"It is. You should try it." Eugene said, slightly relieved that Alia wasn't talking about Maria anymore.
"Henry, can you please take off your face cap and sunglasses? I want to see your face." Alia pleaded.
"I don't think that's necessary, Amy. Let's..."
Henry didn't get to finish his statent when Alia cut him off.
"Pascal, Eugene, can you both please take your al to another table? I need to speak with Henry alone."
"Sure thing, sister-in-law."
"Okay, ma'am."
Both n did as instructed, taking a table three tables away from where Alia was seated.
"It's just the two of us now. You have nothing to worry about. I chose this secluded table keeping you in mind. Now may I please see what Blaze did to your face."
"Alia..."
"Take it off or I'll do it myself." Alia's stern voice which sounded a lot like Maria's whenever the latter was angry, gave Henry no room for contemplation. He released a sigh as he slowly took off his face cap and sunglasses.
"Ah!" A sharp gasp escaped Alia's mouth as her heart flung to her chest in horror at Henry's bruised face.
"Did Blaze do all of this to you?" She asked, her quivering voice laced with incredulity and anger.
Henry quickly wore back his face cap and sunglasses, not intending to hurt Alia any further with his healing bruised face.
"It was a misunderstanding but we are good."
"A misunderstanding." Alia's eyes widened with fury. "You call that level of violence and heartlessness a misunderstanding? Why are you defending him? You should be mad at him."
"It's not entirely his fault, Amy." Henry waved his hand dismissively to the male waiter who approached their table.
"Then whose fault is it, mine?" Alia was more furious than ever.
"Of course not."
"Yes, it is." Alia narrowed eyes shot lasers. "He accused of cheating on him. He accused of sleeping with you. And now look at what he has done to your face."
"Amy, I..."
"He doesn't deserve your forgiveness, Henry." Alia didn't give him any room to speak as she continued expressing her anger. "He doesn't deserve your sympathy or mine for that matter. A man who behaves like a wild animal should be locked in a cage and left in the zoo. You should sue him for assault. He needs to pay. He needs to know that every action goes with a consequence."
"Alia, can you let talk?" Henry reached out for her clenched fist resting on the table. "Just let explain first before you jump to a conclusion."
"I'm listening." Alia turned her face away, pulling her clenched fist away from Henry's hold. The corner of her eyes glistened with threatening tears that she refused to let it fall.
"Have you ever stopped to wonder who sent those emails to your father and your husband?" Henry asked calmly. "Has it even occurred to you that soone out there with a heartless soul went that far to put an obstacle against you and your husband leading to other casualties?"
Alia's heart started pounding vigorously as she turned to look at Henry her eyes widening with both alarm and a hint of vengeance.
"You know sothing, don't you?"
Henry nodded, a sigh escaping his parted lips.
"Who?" Alia bit down on her lower lips, anger coursing through her veins like molten magma. "Who was responsible for the email? Who sent the email to my dad and my... Blaze." She demanded in a vengeful tone, a na coming to her head.
"If I tell you, will you agree to give my friend a listening ear? Would you forgive him for his mistake just as I have? Would you give him a second chance?"
Alia's face turned crimson red with fury.
"Just give a na?" Her voice slowly turned hoarse with an explosive storm raging inside of her.
"You have to give your word first that you will at least hear Blaze out."
"Fine." Alia spat out between clenched jaw. "Now give the na."
"Tina Stevens."
"Tina?" Alia's eyes blazed with a holy fire, as a vicious demon slowly possessed her body.
"Yes." Henry nodded.
"How did you know she's the one?"
"Because your husband has not slept for the past twenty-four hours, searching for the person behind all of this crisis."
Alia's breathing beca heavy, her nose flared and his fiery deanour apoplectic with rage.
"It might also interest you to know that while all of this chaos was happening, Tina and her crew were busy filming the entire process," Henry added in an attempt to make Alia channel her anger to the right source.
"What!" Alia pupil's dilated with horror and indignation.
Henry nodded his head in response affirming his initial words. "She was probably laughing her ass out as she captured Blaze beating the crap out of ."
Alia started panting like a hungry lioness as the words registered in her head.
"Amy..." Henry was alard to see this side of her.
"She has gone too far. I will make her pay for this." Alia picked up her phone with trembling hands and dialled Stacy's number while Henry watched, slightly at a loss for what she was about to do.
The line connected on the first ring and Alia asked.
"Stacy, where are you?"
"At the restaurant, why?" Stacy's cheerful voice echoed from the other end of the phone.
"How fast can you et at, My Fungi's Diner located on the mainland, close to Silva Dabs Hospital?"
"Umm... Give or take thirty minutes. Are you all right?"
"No. I'll hint you on everything along the way. Round up any of the girls you can. We need to go teach soone a lesson."
Henry's jaw dropped.
"Yessss...." Stacy replied gleefully as the call ended.
"Amy, I don't think you should confront her. Your husband has other plans for her. Anything you say or do may ruin his perfect plans." Henry pleaded instantly regretting fueling her anger.
"Don't worry. I won't say anything. But I will make sure she feels the full weight of my fury." Alia vowed.
