"Henry, what are you doing here?" Alia stood up straight, craning her neck at the foyer for any sign of Blaze. She was scared he would be mad at her for getting too close to his family.
"He's not here. You can relax." Henry said reassuringly, carrying, Jaden who was pulling Alia's gown.
"I think we should take the children upstairs before the big babies start complaining," Naomi suggested, making Alia giggle.
"Who are you referring to as the big babies?" Henry raised an eyebrow."
"You guys of course. Aren't you overgrown babies always seeking our attention, wanting even more than the real children." Naomi led the way upstairs, holding Dylan while Sophia held onto Alia's neck, making funny faces at Jayden.
"True." Henry shrugged. "But don't ever call your cousin a baby in the presence of his wife. He will literally eat your head for lunch."
"Are you referring to Blaze, the cutest baby of them all?" Naomi said in a hushed voice so the children wouldn't hear and betray her.
"I don't know what you are talking about." Alia giggled, moving ahead.
"Yep, But I never said anything other than that."

As the sun began its slow descent, illuminating the sky with its brilliant masterpiece, the swirling blend of molten gold, fiery orange and deep crimson created the perfect backdrops for a romantic gathering.
The younger couples gathered together for the all-ti ultimate daring gas, while the older couples retired to the smaller open tent to enjoy one another's company.
Blaze was beginning to feel a bit restless, after waiting for more than an hour without any sign of Alia.
He watched as his married cousins interacted intimately with their respective spouses while watching the sunset together. They were looking so happy and contented with one another, sothing he unconsciously yearned for. It made him feel sowhat jealous and infuriated by his budding feelings.
Standing up from the blanket, he excused himself, pretending to take a stroll while dialing Henry's number.
"Hey bro..." Henry picked up on the first ring.
Blaze could hear the voices of won laughing in the background. It sounded like the voice of his aunt Vera and soone else he couldn't guess. This fuelled Blaze's anger, making him almost lose his temper
"Where the hell are you, Hank and what happened to the job I gave you?" Blaze said between clenched jaws, his grip tightening around his phone.
"Sorry man, I got sidetracked by your sweet aunt. But don't worry Alia will join you when she's done helping Naomi out with the kids."
"The kids!" Blaze's temper flared. "What kids?"
Blaze could hear a harsh rebuking in the background before the voice of his aunt rapped in his ears.
"Young man, stop bothering your friend. I'm trying to cure him of his bachelorhood. Exercise so little patience. Your wife isn't running away. She should be on her way out of the mansion."
The line disconnected, leaving Blaze more perplexed and irked than ever.
Just then, he heard Alia's unique soft voice laughing happily. He spun sideways, in the direction of her voice and there she was looking as flawlessly gorgeous as ever in her immaculate white dress. She was chatting absent-mindedly with Naomi while pointing at sothing ahead of them.
Blaze instantly forgot that he was supposed to be angry at her or the fact that Henry had ntioned sothing about kids. He waited breathlessly for her to look in his direction, his heart longing for her. He watched Naomi whisper sothing in her ears before she turned to look at him.
On impulse he smiled, shocking his own self. But the way Alia stiffened at the sight of him made him chuckle. He strode purposefully towards her, each long stride filling him with unexplainable joy and happiness.
As if in sync with his thoughts, Naomi left Alia's side to join her husband, giving him the necessary privacy he needed.
"Blaze, I'm so sorry." Alia breathed out as he ca closer, her body trembling slightly as if she had been doing sothing wrong. "After I left Mamo, I was coming to join you, but I ran into Naomi and I..."
The remaining words were caught in Alia's throat as Blaze wrapped his hands around her waist and pulled her close to him, crashing his lips against hers without warning.
Alia was stunned. Here she was thinking Blaze was about to rebuke her only to end up kissing her. She didn't understand what was going on in that crazy mind of his. Or did he get stung by a love bug if there was anything such as that?
His behaviour for the past couple of hours was getting weirder by the second. All of this was supposed to be an act to convince his grandparents that they were in love. But why does everything feel so real and so magical, especially with the way he held her like a fragile egg?
Alia completely forgot that they were outside under the scrutiny of everyone, as she wrapped her arms around his neck leaning her head sideways to give him better access.
When they both patted their lips to catch their breath from that intense and passionate kiss, everyone watching them cheered loudly, whistling and clapping their hands.
Blushing really hard like a teenager who had just been kissed by her crush, Alia followed Blaze's lead to join the rest of the young couples for the ga night.
Naomi was super thrilled as this was the first ti ever Blaze was joining in their couple" 's ga. She was on a mission given to her by her mother to strengthen the bond between Blaze and his wife.
Bringing out a silver glitter-coated jar, she listed out so rules of the gas they were about to play, giving no room for anyone to back out.
Next, with the help of her husband, she arranged so strong alcoholic drinks with disposable cups on the blanket and fruit juice for herself.
"Now, with no further ado," Naomi mimicked an entertainnt hostess's foreign accent. "I would like the newly married couple in our midst to do us the honour by picking out our first ga from the mystery jar. Alia." She extended the jar towards her.
Alia couldn't stop laughing at Naomi's funny accent as she dipped her hand into the jar and picked up a slip of paper.
"Read what you have," Naomi instructed.
"Never have I ever, drinking ga...hmm!" Alia turned to look at Blaze, her eyes brightening mischievously.
