[You died]

....

Soren woke up.

With his usual stubbornness, he had managed to actually achieve it.

He dodged the flying arrows—running on so—until he made it to Big Mama’s head region.

Unfortunately, he died when he finally reached his goal.

But why did that happen?

Soren flashed back to that mont before his death.

He allowed his mind to sink into the state he had found himself in before it all ended.

He frowned.

Unlike other abilities he had used, Ivory’s seed to be too demanding of his leg muscles.

And by the ti he actually made it to the body of Big Mama, his legs were already tired.

"Hmmm, well... if that is the case, there is only one way to overco it. Do it until it stops hurting."

This was Soren’s plan.

A very straightforward and brutal plan.

The human body was capable of adapting to stress.

This should usually take a long ti for the average person. After all, the body needed ti to heal.

But not for him. He could push his body to the limits. Because every ti he died, he would wake up healed.

And a tad bit stronger than he was the previous ti.

This was going to be another painful experience.

What fun.

[You died]

...

[You died]

...

[You died]

...

(95 deaths later...)

Soren moved.

By now, his body had beco so used to running on the flying arrows that he could control the amount of strength that goes into his legs.

Using minimal strength for maximum gains.

Dud.

He landed heavily on Big Mama. The antibodies—mini giants—surrounded him.

The Sickle ca. He dove to the side, dodging the blade.

Scchhhlll ... it tore through the air. The force and speed of which were too much to control, and the antibody ended up slicing off the arm of its ally.

Soren smiled at this.

While he could stay and fight, it was totally useless. These things never died as long as they were on the bodies of the whales they occupied.

Even now, that cut-off arm was healing at an incredible speed.

Saving his energy was the best bet.

Instead, he leaped and landed on the giant sword of one of them.

And then he ran up its arm.

Soren needed a large view of the battlefield. Specifically, he needed to see his teammates.

And so he made for the antibody’s shoulder.

Far off in the distance, they were there.

Cynthia had reached the middle section of the whale.

She was doing well. However, Handler and Vinegar were still at the tail.

Handler was not doing badly for himself.

But vinegar?

When it ca to combat, she was not the best.

She had no offensive might. If she were not so good at Blackfield, she would have beco mush a long ti ago.

While Cynthia’s pace had beco faster because of the distraction Vinegar and Handler provided, it was still not enough.

Why?

Because of one opponent. The one protecting the Crowned Jewel itself.

Soren rembered that ti Cynthia managed to reach the head region.

She could not pass that one antibody. It was much larger than any of the others. If the others were about 12 feet in height, then that one was at least 14 feet.

It had a body width so wide and beefy, it could occupy a hallway. Arms and legs that were as big as a fat person’s torso.

It was no doubt stronger, more durable, and more unforgiving.

Soren tagged it. "King Antibody."

He was of the belief that Cynthia could actually fight and win against it. But that was on the condition that she made it to her opponent with as much strength and stamina as possible.

A task the antibodies around would not let happen.

Just then, sothing unforeseen happened.

Scchhhlll

A sickle whistled through the air. Vinegar dodged in ti, but a hamr was waiting for her on the other side.

She was not fast enough.

Smash.

Soren felt his heart skip a beat. He gritted his teeth hard.

This was the very first ti he had seen Vinegar die.

It won’t happen again.

He promised himself as he jumped into the crowd of antibodies.

[You died]

...

Soren sat upright. If he had a rough plan of what to do before, it was beautifully clear to him now.

The goal was to get Cynthia the opportunity to face the King Antibody.

She was the strongest muscle they had; also, this was a win she deserved.

Certain key figures needed to be displayed from certain positions.

Slacker and Ratler were not needed at his side.

He had initially requested the two of them stay with him, thinking they would be helpful in case he fell back down to the Whale underneath.

Slacker was not so strong because of the kind of body he had. He would not be of much use in a fight.

But Ratler was another matter altogether. He was a very formidable opponent.

With a combination of Blackfield and his ability to duplicate his body, he was capable of creating a lot of distractions.

Soren placed a hand under his chin in deep thought.

"It’s not enough. They need more muscle."

A figure appeared in his head.

Soren got to his feet and hurried to go underground. However, he marched straight for a person no one would have ever expected.

Sausage Neck.

Sausage Neck was a good fighter. He also had enough force and defense to be used as a at shield.

However, convincing him was not going to be easy.

After all, in this tiline, aside from the encounter in the cafeteria, they had not t again.

The only reason Sausage Neck had avoided Soren was because of the rumors surrounding him. No one wanted issues either with Captain Scarvguard or the Red Silence.

Soren walked up to him. Sausage Neck was seated on a stone, having a conversation with so other prisoners.

There was no ti to beat around the bush.

"I’ll get straight to the point," Soren said. "I need your help. If you say no, I’ll beat you until you change your mind."
