Lex cultivated while each of the fox beast units, that he had ford, set out to wipe out 5 Mortal beast areas nearby.
The more he read and understood of the Elental Ascension thod, the more Lex learnt about the elents and their innurable applications.
The base elents were Fire, Water, Wind and Land.
But there were dozens of variations of the base elents that included all abilities thinkable.
However, the base elents weren't the only fundantal elents and were only the most common and most used elents, that were arguably the easiest to understand and access.
But there were much more fundantal elents that weren't variants of the base elents, such as the ti and space elents and the darkness and light elents.
However, most people had spiritual roots that were linked to or derived from the 4 base elents and those that specialised in the other elents were rare.
Elents were what ford everything and had their own energy, that could be wielded by the user that had the elental affinity through their spiritual roots.
However, Lex didn't seem to be restricted by spiritual roots and had gained the affinity with every elent, after integrating with the Eye System and gaining Eye Powers.
Although Lex couldn't use and didn't know much about his affinity with all the elents, until he had gained the Elental Ascension thod and cultivated his Elental Body.
By cultivating an Elental Body, Lex enhanced his body and its elental affinities, allowing it to channel the elental energies through his body, which he couldn't do before.
Lex used to rely on his Eye Powers to be used as the centre of his cultivation and absorption of energy, but now he had three bases of his cultivation that he was aiming to get to the right rank.
His Third Eye, his Eyes and his Elental Body.
His eyes were the base of his Internal Cultivation, with the energy stored within his dantian, the Elental Body was the base of his External Cultivation, and his Third Eye linked everything within him to form a powerful entity within the centre of his forehead.
Lex was beginning to learn the importance of spiritual roots and was unsure of how the ranking of 'powers' or spiritual roots currently worked, as along his journey of gaining strength, in his past and current reality, they weren't accurate from what he had seen.
[System could you explain to the ranking system from my past and current reality and how it differs from the system's rankings] asked Lex.
{Ding, to inform the host, the rankings have been distorted and are no longer accurate, so the system will explain to the host what the rankings that have been used equate to.
In the host's past reality the grade of talent and the so-called powers, that the 'levellers' had, were ranked based on their potential to reach the Sky Mortal Rank, but the calculations were capped at the Sky Mortal Rank. That was why the host didn't see the leveller's ranks translate into strength and talent, in comparison to the host.
While in this reality, on this current continent, the talent ranks are capped at the Heaven Mortal Rank and reaching the Rank above that, as this continent has much more energy and is on the Lower Plains.
And the reason why nobody on the continent has managed to surpass the Heaven Mortal Rank is because there has been no incentive to increase their power and there isn't much battling and quality cultivation thods that allow them to do so.
Many royals and other talented individuals on the continent have the potential to do so, if they are diligent in their cultivation and have enough ti, but it hasn't occurred yet, from what the host has co across.
It could take tens of years to break through the Heaven Mortal Rank, that is one of the largest breakthroughs found in the Mortal Realm, and most people settle at the peak of the Heaven Mortal Rank without striving to increase their strength any longer.
While the host's potential and talent are not capped by any cultivation realm and is infinite, but it doesn't an that the host will cultivate past ranks within seconds. It rely ans that the host has the highest cultivation potential and is only held back by himself and his environnt.
The host has not even tapped into a percentage of what the host is capable of with the Eye System.
But the host is steadily growing over ti, assisted by I, the Eye System that is also growing and adapting with the host, like the host has already noticed} explained the system.
Nodding his head in understanding, Lex continued to learn and contemplate about what he was learning about the elents.
Each elent had its own type of energy, which was what made it a unique elent, and Lex was beginning to understand how different elents worked.
All elents were a part of the universe and had their own function, with so being more accessible and common than others, while so only being found in certain areas.
Using his Elental Vision to look at what energies were found around him, Lex could see there was an abundance of the land elental energies and two other elents, that he didn't recognise as one of the base elents.
He could see all kinds of elents, but there were three that were most abundant around him, including the land elental energy.
Scouring the Elental Ascension thod, Lex found the two elents that linked to the two other colours of energy he could see around him.
"So the elents that are most abundant in the Underground Coves are the land elent, the elent of life and the elent of nature and plants" observed Lex.
Lex was becoming more and more entwined with the energies and elents around him and as he continued learning the Elental Ascension Body, he was learning that its main function wasn't what he thought it was.
"I can store energy within my body, but I don't always have to rely on the energies of my body and I can pull on the elental affinity my elental body has to use the energy around in the atmosphere" exclaid Lex in realisation as he delved deeper into the Heaven Mortal Ranked section of the Elental Ascension thod.
Lex's idea of cultivation was still restricted and he was greedily absorbing the energy around him forcefully, but just like with the Body Jolt Skill, Lex was learning that he would need to attempt to manipulate and wield the elents and energy, without using force or attempting to control them.
Another advantage that real cultivation had over 'levelling', other than the enhancent in strength and the use of spiritual roots, was that cultivation thods had applications that gave the cultivator an advantage and ability over the 'leveller'.
The only application of the ntal Void thod, that was a cultivation thod focused on enhancing the ntal state, which Lex ca across by accident, was that it gave the user a stable and empty mind for a while after cultivating the thod,
While the Elental Ascension thod had much more innurable and useful applications that Lex was coming across as he delved deeper and learnt more and more of the thod.
"So the whole ti I was cultivating an Elental Body, I had the wrong idea" realised Lex as he continued reading through.
[The point of the Elental Body was to be able to stream the elental energies, found around the user, through their body to enhance the body for a short while and the enhanced strength it gave, was rely a positive side effect.
The whole focus of cultivating the body's elental affinities was not to increase the body's strength or to increase the user's cultivation speed, but was for this application of the elental energies] observed Lex.
It was an application of his Elental Body and the elental affinity with all energies he was gifted with, that he had never thought was possible and had never thought of attempting.
"However it is only stated at this point because it is too dangerous to attempt with an elental body under the Heaven Mortal Rank and it shouldn't be used frivolously, as it could cause the body backlash, until the user's Elental Body has reached a high enough rank" read Lex.
The first application, Lex had co across in the Elental Ascension thod, of his Elental Body, was different elental forms that granted the user enhanced power for as long as the user was able to sustain the elental energy form for.
The elental energy forms would stream rapid amounts of a specific type of elental energy and would turn all the user's energy into energy that matched that elent, and would enhance the user's body with qualities corresponding to that elent.
It was an External Cultivation Application where the elental energy would be used around his body, where the fire elent would grant him explosive power, the land elent would grant him impenetrable defence and the elent of life would grant him strong vitality and healing.
All the elents had different enhancents and the skill was known as Elental Energy Transformation.
