Shen Zhiyi quickly joined the film crew; this ti she had accepted a modern script with a minor role. Firstly, she hadn’t acted in over half a year and wanted to ease back into it gradually, and secondly, the baby was still young, so her focus remained primarily on her family, not wanting to be busy for days on end away from ho.

But as the baby got older, he beca more clingy. He no longer disliked Pei Yu, preferring so company over none, and would cry whenever he couldn’t see soone, especially when, at four months, he learned how to roll over. If left on the bed, he would soon flip over and continuously slap the bed as if he were throwing a tantrum.

Actually, he was cared for by both a butler and a nanny, but the baby was just not satisfied. After several days of not seeing his parents in the afternoon, he would cry so fiercely that he would spit up milk, which was quite a hassle for everyone around him.

This led Shen Zhiyi to worry about ho even while she was on set, frequently calling the butler.

That day, as usual, she asked the butler about the baby’s condition and was startled by his response.

"Pei Yu took him to the company?"

Less than five months old, the baby was at his clingiest, needing feeds and diaper changes. Although Pei Yu did these things at ho, at the company...

Shen Zhiyi called Pei Yu, both amused and exasperated.

"Why did you bring Xiaoshi to the company?"

"He’s been crying so badly these past few days, always spitting up milk," Pei Yu replied after finishing an email and went to check on the baby in the rest area, "I didn’t feel comfortable leaving him at ho."

It was just after the baby’s nap; he typically needed a little cry upon waking up. But the mont he opened his eyes and saw Pei Yu, his eyes blinked and he skillfully rolled over in front of him, vigorously slapping the bed. This ti it wasn’t from anger, but happiness.

Pei Yu chuckled softly and picked up the baby, "He really likes now."

After months of effort, their hard work had finally paid off.

Shen Zhiyi also smiled, "You hold him the longest; it would be strange if he didn’t like you."

Even the smallest babies know who treats them well. Pei Yu doted on the child endlessly with actions that spoke louder than words, naturally making the baby fond of him.

It was hot, and the baby was only in a diaper. Together hands felt the situation and instantly knew sothing was wrong.

He furrowed his brows, looking down at the baby who babbled a long sentence and patted his chest, giving a sense of "over to you."

"Did you change his diaper?" Shen Zhiyi looked as the cara shook before a bare-bottod baby appeared on the screen, "What a good baby, he didn’t even cry this ti."

Compared to the first couple of months, the baby now cried much less, only fussing when he couldn’t see his parents. If Pei Yu was with him, he would be quiet and calm.

The baby was growing up too fast; Shen Zhiyi was starting to miss the early days.

"I’ll finish early today," she said, watching the peaceful father and son on the screen, "I’ll co to the office and pick you up."

Pei Yu slightly smiled and waved with the baby’s hand, "Thank you, Mommy."

The baby was lively after waking from his nap. While Pei Yu worked, he would lie in a baby carrier beside him, occasionally laughing at the toys hanging above him. Sotis, he would pout as if he were about to cry, but Pei Yu would give him two fingers to hold. He would grab them, kick, and gnaw with his toothless mouth, so entertained that he no longer felt like crying.

Secretary Qin knew there was a baby in the office and even knocked softly. After delivering so docunts, he ca to play with the baby, who seed quite fond of him, reaching out to be held.

Secretary Qin was delighted, "Chairman Pei, Shi Bao likes ."

Holding a pen in his hand, Pei Yu responded indifferently, "He’s just bored."

Secretary Qin secretly grumbled, a baby so young hardly distinguishes boredom; he simply liked him because of his kind face.

Rubbing his hands together, he suggested, "Should I take him to the secretary’s office to play for a while?"

Pei Yu looked at the baby, who was kicking excitedly, and averted his gaze, "If he cries, bring him back."

Secretary Qin happily carried the baby to the secretarial departnt, where the second and third secretaries gathered around to see. They found that the baby was not shy at all and would giggle at anyone.

Everyone unanimously agreed that the baby indeed resembled Shen Zhiyi more.

In fact, as the baby grew older, they could see more of Pei Yu’s influence. Although he was lively and loved to laugh, he also had a big temper, getting unhappy every day. His eyes resembled Shen Zhiyi’s, but in other aspects, he was a spitting image of Pei Yu, especially when not smiling.

Shen Zhiyi once said that he was a drama king who loved to act. In front of strangers, he was the well-behaved, laughing baby, but he revealed his true nature to those he was familiar with.

Of course, Pei Yu disagreed with her view. He felt that being well-behaved and temperantal were not contradictory, and then said the baby was smart, though he had no idea how he could tell a few-months-old baby was smart.

The baby was passed around among the secretaries and finally ended up back in Secretary Qin’s arms, grabbing his tie and not letting go.

Shen Zhiyi arrived just in ti to witness this scene.

Secretary Qin was pleasantly surprised, "Shi Bao likes my tie?"

Shen Zhiyi held back a smile as she took the baby into her arms, not having the heart to tell Secretary Qin the truth.

It wasn’t that he liked the tie, but rather, he disliked it. The little guy had a big temper and wanted to throw away anything he didn’t like. Perhaps after being held by Secretary Qin for a while, he felt this was a familiar person, so he began to act willful.

She patted the baby’s bottom, "Behave, not everyone spoils you like your dad does."

There was one ti when Pei Yu brought him into the walk-in closet. The baby reached for a custom tie placed nearby, stuffed it into his embrace as a drool cloth, and by the ti Pei Yu reached for it, the tie was completely ruined. Later, during a walk in others’ arms, he threw the tie into the artificial lake, and after that, ties of that color and pattern never appeared in Pei Yu’s wardrobe again.

The baby looked up at her, appearing as though he didn’t understand a word, only grinning sweetly like an angelic baby.

Shen Zhiyi, holding the baby, knocked on the office door, "Mr. Pei, your baby is looking for you."

Pei Yu lifted his head from behind the computer and said indifferently, "If others are holding him, he doesn’t need ."

"How can that be," Shen Zhiyi pinched the baby’s hand, "Xiaoshi loves daddy the most, right?"

The baby cooperatively blew a spit bubble.

Pei Yu’s eyes twinkled with a light smile, stretching out his hand to lead her, "I still have so matters to finish."

"No worries," Shen Zhiyi, holding the baby, sat on his lap, "We’ll accompany daddy at work."

The baby, who was originally leaning quietly in her arms, suddenly made a noise when he saw Pei Yu’s fingers tapping on the keyboard.

Shen Zhiyi was puzzled, "What’s wrong?"

"He wants to play," Pei Yu took him over, letting his little hands pat the keyboard haphazardly, generating a string of gibberish.

Shen Zhiyi looked at him, a bit teasingly.

To spoil the baby like this.

Pei Yu laughed, taking advantage of the baby playing, he leaned over to kiss her.

The baby, focused on the keyboard, was completely unaware of this."
