Chapter 73: Chapter 073: Learned by Myself

Lin Feng glanced at Leng i in the rearview mirror and didn’t think much of it, just drove directly to the address provided.

While Ding Wan’er was in the car, she chatted with Leng i, but as soon as she got out, Leng i fell silent. The car beca incredibly quiet, which seed quite strange amidst the pitch-black night.

Fortunately, Lin Feng had already gotten used to it. He had experienced everything on the island, and he was driving steadily and quickly, soon about to reach Leng i’s place.

Just then, through the rearview mirror, Lin Feng suddenly noticed that Leng i’s complexion was turning increasingly awful, and her expression increasingly pained. Fine beads of sweat even broke out on her face...

Lin Feng imdiately sensed the sudden change behind him and, looking through the rearview mirror, saw Leng i curled up. He shook his head slightly and said, "Haven’t you gone to see a doctor yet? I’ve told you about it before."

"I’ve seen doctors long ago, but nothing has worked..." Leng i was incredibly frustrated. Ever since her first nstruation as a young girl, every episode was excruciating. She had seen countless physicians and taken nurous dications, yet there was never any relief. If it were curable, she wouldn’t want to suffer like this.

"If you don’t mind, I could take a look for you," Lin Feng suddenly realized sothing. Treating such nstrual pain wasn’t an issue for him, but it might be different for others.

"Can you really treat illnesses? Did you learn how?" Leng i lifted her head with difficulty and glanced at Lin Feng, who was still driving. Could he truly cure diseases? Were his previous words not just casual remarks?

"I do know so, and curing you shouldn’t be a difficult task," Lin Feng said calmly and confidently.

What?

Curing

shouldn’t be difficult, but after seeing so many doctors since childhood, including those nationally famous traditional Chinese dicine practitioners and expert professors, none could help, not even the man who treated Grandpa. And now it’s no big deal for you, Lin Feng?

Because of her family background, Leng i was well aware of the prowess of those who had treated her. If they couldn’t cure her completely, how could Lin Feng, who was so much younger?

This illness wasn’t the kind that could be imdiately fixed with dical equipnt or surgical operations.

Thus, she found it hard to believe Lin Feng’s words. It just seed too far-fetched.

"There’s no need to trouble yourself," Leng i’s face was pained and deathly pale, with cold sweat breaking out. She also genuinely wanted to cure this affliction so she wouldn’t have to suffer like this anymore. But the thought of having Lin Feng treat her, a subordinate who wasn’t a doctor, was embarrassing to her. What if word got out? Not to ntion, it was an unntionable condition.

Moreover, Lin Feng’s words made her even more uneasy because they sounded so implausible.

Hearing Leng i speak like that, Lin Feng didn’t say anything further, just quietly drove the car.

But as they nearly arrived, Leng i in the back had curled up in such pain that she could hardly speak, feeling her clothes soaked.

The car stopped, and after seeing Leng i in the back unable to move, Lin Feng didn’t say a word, just directly helped the nearly unconscious Leng i up and walked towards the villa with one arm around her.

"Lin Feng... Put

down, I... I can walk. Help

call soone, there’s a Dr. Chen in my phone," Leng i, feeling herself being supported by Lin Feng, had no strength and was very dazed, but still stubbornly wanted to walk on her own. After all, this was the first ti she had been in such close contact with a man like Lin Feng, and she felt quite embarrassed about it.

Ignoring Leng i’s resistance, Lin Feng helped her into her bedroom. However, he was surprised upon entering the room—how could he have guessed that Leng i’s room would be decorated like a little girl’s, all pink? This was a stark contrast to the strong woman he saw during the day.

Seeing that Leng i was now in so much pain that she had no ability to resist, and that she was on the verge of fainting, he thought he should make her more comfortable first. His thoughts cald right away, and he naturally placed his hands on Leng i’s waist as he settled her on the bed.

Lin Feng’s movents were slow, firm yet gentle, and rhythmic.

Leng i suddenly felt that her pain was lessening and a warm sensation was weaving through her lower abdon. Gradually, the pain ebbed away significantly. Half-conscious, she suddenly rembered it was Lin Feng who had brought her back ho; were those massaging hands Lin Feng’s? No man had ever touched her body before.

As she turned her head naturally and saw Lin Feng concentrating on massaging her, his expression reminded her of those senior doctors.

Leng i’s heart cald down on its own. She saw no ulterior motives in Lin Feng’s eyes, only tranquility, which helped ease her mind too. Lin Feng was treating her, really treating her.

In that mont, she felt how large and warm his hands were, and the spot that had been unbearably painful was now incredibly comfortable after he had touched it.

As soon as she let go of her concerns and felt the relief from the pain, her whole body relaxed completely.

"Oh, it feels so comfortable, so warm. The pain seems to have faded away, leaving only a cozy warmth..." Leng i truly enjoyed this sensation and, before she knew it, she had actually fallen asleep.

After massaging for a while, Lin Feng glanced at Leng i, found a blanket to cover her with, and then left the room.

Unsure of how long she had slept, Leng i suddenly woke up, startled. Where was Lin Feng?

He was supposed to be treating her, so how could she have fallen asleep? She looked at herself and then around her; Leng i hastily got up, slipped on her slippers, and went out to look for Lin Feng.

However, just after taking a few steps, Leng i abruptly stopped. Had she really fallen asleep? This was unbelievable because she knew all too well that when her condition flared up, sleep was impossible, and ergency visits to the hospital were common. How could a massage from Lin Feng have put her to sleep today? And she had even slept for quite a while, sothing she would never have dared to dream of in the past.

Even with the people from her grandfather’s side available to treat her, it was never this effective. At best, they could spare her the trip to the hospital by relieving the pain, but it would still be a long struggle and she certainly wouldn’t be able to sleep.

At this mont, Leng i was still feeling a warm sensation in her lower abdon, a surprise that filled her with joy. It was truly comfortable.

Lin Feng really did possess dical skills, and they were obviously of a very high level. Otherwise, how could his massage have such an effect when others didn’t work? The pain had been relieved almost completely, sothing she had never even dared to hope for previously.

Recalling the painful experiences she had endured for over a decade, each one like a severe illness, the agony unbearable, sent shivers down Leng i’s spine. And she couldn’t help but wonder, why hadn’t she t soone like Lin Feng sooner? If she had encountered soone with his dical skills earlier, perhaps she wouldn’t have had to suffer for all those years.

Yet, she suddenly felt that such thoughts were sowhat...

Nevertheless, in her heart, she was truly grateful to Lin Feng because that pain had tornted her to the point of feeling life wasn’t worth living.

Since she hadn’t changed clothes earlier and had sweated a lot, Leng i put on her pajamas before going downstairs. As soon as she descended, she slled sothing incredibly fragrant. Her stomach embarrassingly let out a loud rumble. Strange, who could be cooking? Auntie Wang would have left for ho at this ti.

When she arrived at the kitchen, she was astonished to see Lin Feng brewing so sort of porridge she didn’t recognize, with several side dishes already prepared on the dining table. In that mont, Leng i stood frozen, thinking, Lin Feng, how could it be Lin Feng...?

Leng i really hadn’t expected that Lin Feng could cook. Although the al appeared simple, the aroma was sothing she had never experienced before.

It was miraculous. He had just treated her, and now...

"Awake? You must be hungry. Co eat, I’ve made you a dicinal porridge." Lin Feng waved her over, gesturing for Leng i not to stand there but to co in and eat.

"Ah! You made all this?" Leng i finally ca around, walked over to the dining table, and sat down. She pointed at the dishes on the table and said, unable to believe that a man like Lin Feng could create such delicate dishes, far superior to her own cooking skills.

"Yes, I made them specifically for you. What’s so strange about that?"

"Oh, nothing, just unexpected..."

Leng i was hungry, and with everything laid out before her, she had just taken a sip of the porridge when her eyes widened in astonishnt. What kind of porridge was this? It was delicious.

She looked at Lin Feng in surprise and couldn’t help but start tasting the four dishes on the table. With each one, she was shocked anew, finding it hard to believe that Lin Feng could cook food so delectable. It was unbelievable that these were his creations; they surpassed even the chefs from the finest restaurants.

Forget about restaurant chefs, even the chefs from her grandfather’s side, who were known as imperial chefs, couldn’t compare...

"Don’t be so surprised. I learned by myself when I lived on the island," Lin Feng knew what the look on Leng i’s face ant, so he answered her unasked question.

The island? It reminded her of the first ti she heard Lin Feng give a lecture when he had ntioned certain things. Could he really have been to an island?

This threw Leng i into confusion; it was too incredible to believe. Surely, he couldn’t be telling the truth...

Forget about it, never mind. But the porridge was too tasty, it went down warmly, and it felt like a fire in her belly, so comforting. Without realizing it, Leng i had already had three bowls, and she felt it strange herself, considering her usual small appetite. How could she consu so much?

After cleaning up the dishes Leng i had used, Lin Feng said, "I won’t leave tonight; I’ll stay here with you."
