Ding Yi listened to Ding Wan’er’s words and felt that his granddaughter’s thoughts were still too naive. "Girl Ding, you’re not talking about yourself, are you? Could it be that there’s another woman involved with Lin Feng now?" Ding Yi looked at his granddaughter’s face, growing more convinced by the mont, so he proactively asked her, partly to see if his guess was correct and partly to offer help. If she truly faced the situation they’d just spoken of, it would indeed be a test for Wan’er.
"Grandpa! How... how could that be possible! How... how could it be ! You’re thinking too much!" Ding Wan’er had never expected that her grandfather would associate the issue with her, and upon hearing his question, she replied in a flustered manner. How did he guess it? What should she do now?
Yet, after a quick thought, Ding Wan’er realized that there was no harm in her grandfather guessing the truth. It was the perfect opportunity to ask him about the best way to resolve the matter since the situation with Lin Feng couldn’t be delayed any longer. take a look at your fishing rod." Ding Yi, watching Ding Wan’er walk away, probably guessed that her visit today must have been about Lin Feng. However, once Qian Rong returned, Wan’er naturally couldn’t continue the conversation, so her hurry to leave was quite normal. With this in mind, he quickly changed the subject to divert Qian Rong’s attention, to prevent him from wondering about Wan’er’s behavior today.

Leaving Jingming Fishing Ground, Ding Wan’er drove straight back to the university, rushed into the office, said a word to the secretary, locked herself inside, then opened a drawer and took out the letter Lin Feng had given her when he first ca to Yingbo University.
Looking at the note that read "I am your fiancé," Ding Wan’er’s heart was filled with complex emotions, indescribable feelings surfaced. If it weren’t at her grandfather’s discovering the significance of this little note, she might have forgotten about it completely, and would not have found herself in her current situation today.
She still rembered how Lin Feng looked when he first brought her that letter. At that ti, she regarded him as just another one of those flies pursuing her. But unexpectedly, Lin Feng later beca her shield, and even her driver...
Yet, deep down, Ding Wan’er always harbored a rebellious feeling towards Lin Feng because of this note. But now, because of that note, Ding Wan’er always wanted to see the best of Lin Feng before making any decisions, not realizing that, unknowingly, other girls had already made their moves. Shen Yao was the first to appear; her ergence was a complete slap in Wan’er’s face. She had been full of regret at that ti, thinking she had waited too long when she could have confessed to Lin Feng earlier and not be in such a passive position now.
After the incident with Shen Yao, Ding Wan’er had planned to give serious thought to her relationship with Lin Feng after the school year began. But before she had ti to sort out her feelings, the first day of the term was marred by another girl confessing to Lin Feng right in front of her, throwing Wan’er’s heart into even greater turmoil. It was from that mont her heart beca so restless, allowing things to get to where they were today.
Ding Wan’er now felt full of doubt. Was she really to do as Grandpa had said, if she wanted to be with Lin Feng, to lay aside her pride and dignity and be with him along with other won in order to stay by his side forever...?
