Chapter 337: Chapter 337 Get Out of Here

"Africa?"

"Kenya?"

Ding Wan’er and Leng i were both stunned upon hearing Lin Feng’s words, suddenly unsure whether to believe what Lin Feng had said. They had thought he would perhaps travel to the United States or so country in Europe, never expecting Lin Feng to go to Kenya in Africa. No matter how hard they tried to understand, it seed inconceivable why the impoverished place of Africa would demand Lin Feng’s urgent presence, and that too in an environnt known for its chaos and frequent outbreaks of civil wars. What could possibly require Lin Feng to venture to such a perilous place...

However strange it seed to them, neither harbored any doubt about Lin Feng’s words. Over the past six months, they had acclimated to Lin Feng’s ways: his word was the absolute truth, no matter how far-fetched the circumstances seed to be. Lin Feng never hid anything—whatever he said was invariably fact.

"I have a senior martial sister who ran into trouble in Kenya, and that’s why I rushed over to rescue her. Fortunately, when I arrived she hadn’t been injured. I killed two experts and, after quite a struggle, managed to bring my senior sister back ho safely," Lin Feng paused to organize his thoughts, then told the two won about his African adventure, simplifying the story to prevent them from worrying. After all, there was no need to hide anything from them—they would eventually co to know everything about his senior sister.

"Senior sister? You have a senior sister?" Ding Wan’er was imdiately alard upon hearing that Lin Feng had gone to save his senior sister. Rescuing soone was inherently dangerous—after all, it wouldn’t be called a rescue if there was no peril involved. Moreover, the fact that he ventured to Africa increased the risk exponentially. Everyone knew Africa was rife with disorder and overrun with guns. Securing one’s safety there was challenging enough, let alone rescuing soone in such a complex environnt—it was unquestionably hazardous!

She had never heard of Lin Feng having a senior sister before. But on second thought, it seed only logical—for soone as formidable as Lin Feng to be without a master was unthinkable. Without a master, it was impossible to achieve the extraordinary skills Lin Feng possessed. Thus, it was only natural for Lin Feng to have martial siblings. Yet, how had this senior sister suddenly surfaced, compelling Lin Feng to travel thousands of miles to Africa to rescue her? Lin Feng himself was so capable, so where would his senior sister fall short, necessitating her junior brother to co to her aid?

So what was really going on? Ding Wan’er looked at Lin Feng, her mind now more befuddled than ever...

"You killed two experts there? How could there possibly be experts in Africa?" Upon hearing Lin Feng’s story, Leng i also grew tense. She knew Lin Feng’s capabilities well—if he considered them experts, it ant that these individuals must have been of a very high level. Otherwise, Lin Feng wouldn’t have spoken of them as such. Without a doubt, Lin Feng’s journey had been fraught with danger, which he had undoubtedly downplayed to spare Ding Wan’er and herself any worry.

But however formidable those two were, it had been of no use—they had ended up dead at Lin Feng’s hands, and he had returned safely. Now, what puzzled Leng i was how there could have been experts in Africa. Logically, this was impossible—there were no reasonable justifications, no inclination to venture into Africa.

"My senior sister is just an ordinary person, rely a nominal disciple of our master. She was targeted for assassination, and those two experts were sent by her enemies to silence her," Lin Feng quickly grasped Ding Wan’er and Leng i’s line of thought. It didn’t surprise him that they would naturally assu his senior sister to be skilled, given his own abilities. Thus, he explained further to prevent any misunderstandings.

"So that’s how it is." Ding Wan’er, upon hearing that Lin Feng’s senior sister was an ordinary person and only nominally his master’s disciple, felt a renewed surge of concern. Just a while ago, Shen Yao, an innocently pure girl, had confessed her feelings for Lin Feng. Now, could Lin Feng’s senior sister possibly be another of Lin Feng’s...?

Otherwise, why would Lin Feng go to such lengths for a senior sister in na only? Anyone else would hardly risk life and limb for a senior sister in na only, certainly not by journeying thousands of miles to chaotic Kenya to save her, killing two experts, and undergoing much trouble to safely bring her back ho. From Lin Feng’s implication, it seed this senior sister was now in Tianhai—where exactly? She couldn’t possibly be staying at Lin Feng’s house, could she?

How could this be? If this senior sister also had so relationship with Lin Feng, what should she do? Ever since Shen Yao appeared, she had felt a sense of crisis, yet no one expected another girl to confess to Lin Feng at the start of school. Now, with the addition of this newly erged senior sister, as his fiancee, she truly didn’t know how to face such a situation.

Thinking of this, Ding Wan’er’s eyes once again turned toward Lin Feng, who was quietly drinking tea, trying to discern sothing from his expression. Yet, to her surprise, she found Lin Feng’s tea-brewing and drinking as fluid as drifting clouds and flowing water, making it impossible to glean anything from his face.

It’s really worrying, how am I supposed to face Lin Feng in the future...

Leng i didn’t speak this ti; she just stared at Lin Feng. Having just heard him ntion being hunted, her heart imdiately tensed up. Although Lin Feng spoke lightly of it, she had an intuition that the situation was far from as simple as Lin Feng described. She had never heard Lin Feng speak of anyone as a master before; this was the first ti she heard the word "master" from Lin Feng’s mouth. Could it be that Lin Feng was injured but pretending everything was fine to keep her and Girl Ding from worrying?

It was certainly possible. Given Lin Feng’s past behavior, such a situation was entirely plausible. With this thought, Leng i scrutinized Lin Feng once more, but still could not detect anything amiss. Lin Feng’s movents were unhindered, and there were no bruises or wounds on his face or hands. Perhaps she was overthinking it? If that were the case, so much the better. As long as Lin Feng wasn’t hurt, she could be completely at ease.

However, the sudden appearance of this senior sister served as a reminder; Lin Feng would go to such lengths for a rely titular senior sister—traveling to Kenya in Africa, even killing two people to save her. This senior sister’s relationship with Lin Feng was definitely out of the ordinary. Otherwise, for just anyone, Lin Feng would not go to such lengths. She wondered how old his senior sister was and whether there was a significant age difference between them. If not, she might genuinely have the chance to be with Lin Feng...

"Lin Feng, where is senior sister staying now? She should be in Tianhai, right?" Ding Wan’er thought it over and, unable to help herself, asked Lin Feng in a seemingly calm and concerned manner. If she didn’t know where Lin Feng’s senior sister was staying, she would never be able to relax and would surely be filled with restless thoughts—a source of great distress for Ding Wan’er.

"Senior sister was injured, so I’ve arranged for her to stay near my ho. I’ll think of other plans once her injuries are healed," Lin Feng casually responded to Ding Wan’er, vaguely sensing her underlying concerns and thus divulging Chu ng’s current whereabouts to prevent further overthinking.

"Senior sister is injured, how serious is it? Should we go and see her?" Hearing Lin Feng’s casual disclosure, Ding Wan’er’s mind was put completely at ease; there was nothing between Lin Feng and his senior sister. However, upon hearing that the senior sister was injured, Ding Wan’er felt that it was only appropriate to visit, out of politeness if nothing else. Besides, the injured woman was Lin Feng’s senior sister, and, as Lin Feng’s fiancée, she would eventually have to address her as such too. Building a good relationship with her senior sister could only be beneficial.

"If it’s convenient, let’s go and have a look," Leng i also felt it was right to visit. On one hand, the injured woman was Lin Feng’s senior sister; on the other hand, she wanted to see for herself what sort of woman this suddenly erged senior sister was, one who could make Lin Feng run into danger in Africa to save her.

"There’s nothing inconvenient about it. If you would like to visit her, you can join

in my car later," Lin Feng offered, not objecting to their desire to visit his senior sister; there was no need to prevent them. They might as well go together later.

But just as Lin Feng had finished speaking, several people suddenly burst into the teahouse and headed straight for Lin Feng’s table.

Upon seeing these individuals, Ding Wan’er and Leng i imdiately panicked, recognizing them as the sa few people they had encountered at the breakfast restaurant. They hadn’t expected them to have followed them here. It was very strange; how had they managed to tail them? They’d even made sure to check the road for followers on the way, but there hadn’t been a single car behind them. How could this have happened?

"How can you track us like this—I could report you for this! Lin Feng, we had no idea they were following us. We made sure to check that no cars were trailing us on the way here." Ding Wan’er couldn’t believe that these individuals had actually followed them and located Lin Feng. This was not at all what she had expected. What ans had they used to track her and Sister Leng, to target her if they couldn’t find Lin Feng? Such despicable, shaless behavior—facing such a situation, what would Lin Feng think of her...

"Get out!" Leng i was also furious, outraged that these people had tracked her and Ding Wan’er. Their intention had been to warn Lin Feng to avoid these n, but they had unwittingly led them right to him instead. The good intentions had turned into a blunder, the exact opposite of what she had intended. No matter what, they had to drive these people out first!
