Chapter 2301: Chapter 2280: Interesting Demon Beast

"Crack... Puff!"

The Demon Beast never expected Lin Feng to dodge its attack. As Lin Feng evaded, its two large pincers simply closed on air while its scorpion tail pierced directly into the sand, imdiately infuriating it. It couldn’t believe Lin Feng had managed to evade this attack, its two fiery red eyes glared at Lin Feng, roaring: "You damned Human, how did you dodge that?"

Despite being extrely angry, the beast was still shocked. It couldn’t sense the aura of a Divine Being from Lin Feng and couldn’t understand how he dodged the attack. Not even a Divine Being, how could he possess such speed and reflexes? It was impossible!

"Why is this surprising?" Lin Feng looked at the furious Demon Beast and spoke calmly. But internally, he was far from calm. Although he had just evaded the scorpion-like beast’s attack, he knew how dangerous it had been. Having just arrived in this world, he hadn’t yet rged with it, and his own power was suppressed to an extrely low level. The evasion had appeared easy, but in reality, he had exerted all his strength.

Now Lin Feng finally realized the difference between this world and the previous one. Here, any randomly appearing Demon Beast was equivalent to those of Demon Venerable level in the old world. Except for the fact that it hadn’t taken human form, its power was indeed terrifying. If not for his rich combat experience and sharp instincts, it was likely he would have been ripped apart by this beast.

But he couldn’t show any sign of this. If the beast discovered it and thus went on a rampage, even he couldn’t guarantee he could escape unhard. To defeat this beast required an opportunity; without it, to fight the beast was simply courting death. He estimated that with his current power level, he was no match for this scorpion-like beast.

Upon hearing Lin Feng’s words, the scorpion-like Demon Beast was enraged to the point of explosion, its two large pincers suddenly emitted a blue glow, then fiercely struck the sand beneath...

"Boom!"

Astonishingly, all the sand within a hundred-zhang radius suddenly rose, forming a moving sand wall that directly swept towards Lin Feng. Its pair of red eyes now resembled bright lights, filled with murderous intent. Even if the Human before it was formidable, how could it matter? The Demon Beast had lived in this desert for hundreds of years; how could this Human possibly be its match!

Faced with the sudden sand wall attack, Lin Feng was caught off guard, shaken by the sand wave and sent flying. Floating in the air, he felt speechless for having been bullied by such a beast. Truly frustrating, when had he, Lin Feng, ever suffered such a misfortune?

Suddenly, Lin Feng felt a sense of extre danger rising within him, his body instinctively twisting in midair.

"Swish!"

Just as Lin Feng evaded, a red light passed through where he had been, the beast’s tail hook glowing red!

The Demon Beast saw this Human still able to dodge so easily despite its attack, instantly filling it with extre rage. Its eyes gleaming brighter red, pupils dilated, its front claws frantically flailing in the air, howling at Lin Feng: "How the hell are you doing this?"

It truly couldn’t comprehend how Lin Feng evaded, the sand wall having already obscured Lin Feng’s vision, and how he detected its attack and dodged so quickly. Is this kid even Human? How could a regular God’s Citizen possibly possess such power!

"None of your business how I did it." Lin Feng retorted calmly, but inwardly he found it hard to believe the beast had such low intelligence, asking such a stupid question.

Upon hearing Lin Feng’s response, sensing the disdain in his words, the Demon Beast’s blue Demon Energy suddenly exploded, burning fiercely on its body like a fla. Its giant pincers radiated a dazzling blue glow, two red beams shot from its eyes as it entered a Rampage state!

At this point, the beast was nearly driven insane by Lin Feng’s provocation, how dare an ant it could devour at any ti challenge it, truly reckless. It was determined to tear this brat to shreds and devour him!

Suddenly the beast smashed its pincers fiercely into the ground, its blue Demon Energy whipping up the yellow sand, suddenly forming a sandstorm tens of zhang high, covering hundreds of zhang around it like twilight, the faint purple sunlight disappearing instantly, and the sky turned dark.

Not good!

Lin Feng instantly sensed danger, using his Divine Sense to track the beast’s movents, he constantly changed positions, narrowly evading the beast’s attacks each ti. But only after a few moves did he suddenly feel a slight awakening of his inner power, and a thought instantly appeared in his mind...

"Boom!"

"Don’t move!"

"Why shouldn’t I move!"

...

Within the sandstorm, the beast’s furious roar and Lin Feng’s calm response echoed amidst thunderous noise...

One hour later, the violent sandstorm finally ceased, and the beast’s roars stopped. Within a thousand-zhang radius, sand dunes had been leveled, countless large and small sand pits looking like the aftermath of bombardnt, a miserable sight.

"You damned human, are you playing ? You are not God’s Citizens, you are not God’s Citizens!" The Demon Beast looked at Lin Feng in the distance and roared furiously, its body heaving with each breath, gusts of air continuously exhaling from its mouth.

It now realized that this damned human before it was not an ordinary Divine Being at all. From the beginning, this guy had been toying with it, and it really wanted to tear this kid to pieces and eat him instantly!

"I never claid to be a Divine Being." Lin Feng looked at the Demon Beast and replied calmly, feeling curious about this term ’God’s Citizens’ that the Demon Beast kept ntioning.

Upon hearing Lin Feng’s words, the Demon Beast was so enraged it almost spat blood. It looked at Lin Feng, eyes bursting with red light, and murderous intent surging. The red glow on its tail hook grew dazzling before a red beam shot out from it, leaving a red streak in the air, and in the blink of an eye, it hit Lin Feng’s body.

"Kid, now you’re dead! Haha..." Seeing the red beam hit Lin Feng, the Demon Beast roared excitedly, feeling utterly satisfied inside. It had finally managed to kill the damned guy. But just as it was celebrating, a voice appeared above its head.

"Who said I’m dead?"

As soon as Lin Feng finished speaking, and before the Demon Beast could react, a trendous force smashed into the Demon Beast’s head.

"Boom!"

Suddenly, the Demon Beast felt as if it had been struck by a teor, its entire body on the verge of exploding. Its massive form sank into the yellow sand; instantly, centered on the Demon Beast, a sand wave over a hundred feet high erupted like a tsunami, spreading around and covering an area of over a thousand feet.

"You damned creature..."

"Boom!"

"You’re still hitting !"

"Boom!"

...

The Demon Beast was utterly frenzied now, roaring in anger. But every roar was t with another heavy blow. The most frustrating part was that it never saw how Lin Feng was hitting it; no matter how it tried to counter-attack, it could not catch Lin Feng’s figure.

After half a cup of tea’s ti, the roaring stopped, as did the thunderous clamor, and the tsunami-like sand wave subsided. On the sand, a massive crater over three hundred square feet wide and several dozen feet deep had ford, at the bottom of which lay the once arrogant Demon Beast.

The hard, deep blue armor on the Demon Beast’s body now had nurous cracks, and the Demon Energy had completely dissipated. The tail hook that once radiated red light had lost its luster, curling around the Demon Beast, and in front of the Demon Beast lay a putrid blue puddle of blood.

Suddenly, a figure flashed, and Lin Feng appeared before the Demon Beast. He looked at the Demon Beast and said calmly, "Do you still want to eat

now?"

"I dare not, I dare not..." The Demon Beast trembled as it heard Lin Feng speak, responding shakily, utterly terrified of Lin Feng, afraid he would continue the assault. If it continued, it would lose its life completely.

"But what if I want to eat you?" Seeing the miserable state of the Demon Beast, Lin Feng found it sowhat amusing and, on a whim, decided to tease it.

Hearing this, the Demon Beast instantly broke down. It had only heard of Demon Beasts eating humans, never of humans eating Demon Beasts. Was it the Demon Beast, or was this kid the Demon Beast? Had it known this kid was so monstrous, it wouldn’t have provoked him, or it would be seeking death!

"I’m not tasty, I’m not tasty, don’t eat , my at is foul, I’m begging you..." Looking at Lin Feng, the Demon Beast nearly burst into tears, pleading, praying Lin Feng would spare its life. Anything would do as long as he didn’t kill it.

"Not eating you is also an option. Take

out of this desert." Seeing the Demon Beast on the verge of collapse, Lin Feng was too lazy to tease it any longer and instructed directly. Actually, from the beginning, Lin Feng never intended to kill this Demon Beast. Having a local guide to navigate out of the desert was far better than wandering around blindly on his own.

"You won’t wait till I take you to the place and then kill , right?" Hearing Lin Feng say this, the Demon Beast did not rush to agree but instead asked Lin Feng tentatively. It didn’t want to die unknowingly.

"We’ll see. If you please , I won’t kill you." Lin Feng replied indifferently to the Demon Beast, finding this Demon Beast rather interesting.

Upon hearing Lin Feng’s words, the Demon Beast breathed a long sigh of relief, feeling its life finally safe. It slowly got up, despite the pain all over its body, but it couldn’t care less. It said to Lin Feng, "Please co onto my back, and I’ll carry you out."

In response, Lin Feng’s figure flickered onto the Demon Beast’s back, after which the Demon Beast’s six legs frantically dashed across the sandy ground...
