Everything was going along as what Feng Yu expected. Li Mingde was eager to sell the shares but dared not let Fu Guangzheng look at their financial reports.
Fu Guangzheng had studied the situation and discussed with his father. They were willing to accept so losses for the ti being. If this company continued to develop, he could get back his investnts within 2 years and enjoy the profits for at least the next 10 years.

Everyone living in the countrydies would rear so animals themselves.

The chicken and pig farms had no way to sell to the people in the district as every household were rearing their own animals. They did consider selling to the cities, but it was not easy to set up the distribution channels.

Now it was the market economy, and the governnt allowed private factories to operate. They also can’t change their current leaching process back to the traditional thod. So, they ca up with a way, to stop the cooperatives from selling these premium oils and to sell them in their own stores. This idea was supported by the City Governnt.
However, the representative from Tai Hua Factory was a teenager, and he was here to negotiate about this. At this age, shouldn’t he be n school? Chief Zhou thought that it would be easy to handle a teenager, but he was wrong. This kid not only wanted the Food Departnt stores to sell his sugar and still wanted the Food Departnt to help him promote his sugar. How can the Food Departnt support the products from a small private factory and not its own products?
But Feng Yu had said that if they don’t agree to his conditions, he will not allow the Food Departnt stores or the cooperatives to sell his products. He would push his products to those small shops. I am not quite sure why the author states that the requirent was to hold more than 2/3 of the total equalities to be considered the major shareholder. From my understanding, owning 51% of the shares would be viewed as the major shareholder. Maybe this is sothing that only happens in China, or it could be because the factory was a state-owned enterprise.
