“Manager Feng, I will walk you out.”
“Wait a minute. Director Fang, is it about the Old Man’s health?” Feng Yu grabbed Director Fang and asked.
Director Fang turned and stared at Feng Yu. How did Feng Yu know about this?
But Director Fang thinks back. Feng Yu had t the Old Man before Lunar New Year, and he knew about the Old Man’s condition. Maybe it was Feng Yu’s guess. Also, Feng Yu had recomnded a new drug to the Old Man’s doctor, and the doctor did not say whether if the dicine is effective or now.
“Don’t try to find out about the things you are not supposed to know. I will walk you out. Rember, don’t tell anyone about what happened today.”
Feng Yu was escorted out of Zhongnanshan. After boarding his car, he did not say a word. The driver looked at Feng Yu and dare not ask anything and sent him back to Beijing’s lodging.

“Doctor Ma, how is Senior Chairman’s condition?” Iron Fist Zhu asked.
“Premier, Old Xu is inside, and it’s not looking good.” Doctor Ma replied gloomily.
The Old Man is showing symptoms of Pneumonia, breathing difficulties, and high blood pressure. If his conditions cannot be stabilized, his breathing might stop and…
“Can’t you all do anything?” Iron Fist Zhu asked anxiously.
“How is it? How’s the Senior Chairman’s condition?” President Jiang rushed into the room.
Outside of the ward, all the top officials had arrived. The Old Man’s health is critical and everyone hopes he will live until that day.
Inside of the ward, the Old Man’s leading doctor, Doctor Xu, is trying his best to think of a solution. All ordinary dications are not effective in treating the Old Man. Suddenly, he rembered the dicine Manager Feng recomnded. The drug called Viagra.
Doctor Xu had read the clinical test reports, but they need more ti for tests. Doctor Xu had tried dicine on patients with Pulmonary hypertension, and it’s quite useful.
But this drug has a side effect. It will cause an erection. Maybe this is the drug’s primary purpose, and treating Pulmonary hypertension is the side effects.
During the tests, Doctor Ma almost called the cops to arrest Feng Yu. Doctor Xu was also furious. But after they saw the patient getting better and recovered with the help of other drugs, they were not so mad.
The doctors realized that this is a really effective dicine.
But until now, the Doctor Xu had only tested on a few patients personally, and he is not sure if there are other side effects.
“Old Xu, should we try using that drug?” One of the doctors asked.
“No. We are still not clear about the side effects. The clinical trial’s duration is too short. How can we use it on Senior Chairman?” Another doctor said.
“What other options do we have? We tried everything we know, and Western and Chinese dicines are not effective. If we delay any longer, I’m afraid the Senior Chairman will be in danger! Old Xu, what’s your decision?!”
Doctor Xu is covered in sweat. He is not young, and his body almost collapsed earlier.
Doctor Xu looked at Senior Chairman breathing difficultly, and he made the most critical decision in his life. “Bring two tablets of Viagra over. Crush them, mix it in water and feed Senior Chairman through a syringe!”
“Old Xu, have you considered this? If anything happens, you will have to bear full responsibility. You should know what that drug is used for.” Soone pulled Doctor Xu.
“This is the final solution I can think of. Do you all have other suggestions? If that dication is not effective or caused other problems, I will bear the responsibility!” Doctor Xu gritted his teeth and said.
Doctor Liu quickly grind two tablets of Viagra and mixed it in water before feeding it to the Old Man with a syringe.
The Old Man’s face was turning purplish, and it’s a sign of lack of breath. Other than the standard life-saving procedures, the doctors can’t do anything else.
Ti passes, and Doctor Xu and the rest were monitoring the Old Man’s vitals and the equipnt.
“It dropped! The pressure is dropping!” Doctor Liu cried excitedly.
“The oxygen intake in increasing!” Another Doctor shouted.
Doctor Xu imdiately walked over to the Old Man and saw his face turning back to normal, and he no longer has a painful expression.
“He can breathe normally!” After a while, Doctor Liu shouted again.
The rest of the doctors looked at each other. Everyone is exhausted and excited. They had saved the Old Man!
Doctor Xu arranged for the follow-up treatnts and sighed in relief. After sighing, he almost fainted. If Doctor Liu is not standing beside him, Doctor Xu might have fallen on the floor.
After being so tense for so long, Doctor Xu can finally relax for a while.
After opening the door, Doctor Xu walked out of the ward. President Jiang and Iron Fist Zhu went up to him to ask about the Old Man’s condition.
Doctor Xu nodded. “He is saved, and his condition is stabilized!”
Terrific! Everyone was overjoyed. The Old Man is China’s pillar, and no one wants anything to happen to him.
“Earlier Doctor Ma said no dication can help with the treatnt. What thod did you all use?” Iron Fist Zhu asked.
“We used a new dicine. This drug still has not passed the Drug Evaluation. We need to thank that young man. If he did not recomnd this drug, we are not confident to save Senior Chairman today.” Doctor Xu replied.
President Jiang asked. “Young man? Which hospital is he from?”
“He is a businessman, not a doctor. President should have heard of him. Director Fang had brought him to et the Old Man before New Year.” Doctor Xu replied.
The rest of the top leaders turned and looked at Iron Fist Zhu.
Iron Fist Zhu suddenly realized. “You are talking about Manager Feng? Feng Yu?!”
“It’s him. Director Fang said this new dicine is developed by his company, Bing City Pharmaceutical Enterprise. I also heard he is a successful businessman and is wealthy.” Doctor Xu explained.
Iron Fist Zhu explained to the rest of the leaders. “Feng Yu is the shareholder of Bing City Machinery Company. When Senior Chairman and I went there for an inspection, we got to know this young man. Aiwa Pager, Aiwa mobile phones, Wind and Rain VCD players, are all his businesses. I didn’t know he had invested in Bing City Pharmaceutical Enterprise and developed this new dicine. This ti, the credit is his.”
President Jiang replied cheerfully. “You are right. This is his credit. Oh, what’s the na of this dicine, and what’s the main effect of it?”
Doctor Xu and the rest of the doctors looked at each other, not knowing how to reply to this question. Tell the President that this dicine is to cure Erectile Dysfunction? If they really tell the truth, they will be fired imdiately!
In the end, Doctor Liu, who was smarter and quick-witted, replied. “This dicine has a lot of effects, and one of them is treating Pulmonary hypertension.”
President Jiang nodded. “I will not go in to visit him now. Let know when Senior Chairman wakes up. I will visit him then. Iron Fist, help thank that Feng Yu.”
Iron Fist Zhu asked his n to call Director Fang, and he took the phone. “Xiao Fang, Senior Chairman, is saved with Feng Yu’s dicine. Inform him that I represent the country to thank him!”
