Chapter 869 – Looking at the future

USB or USB flash drive is a type of digital storage device which is widely popular in the future, and it doesn’t require any power source to hold the data. The storage is also bigger, and the user just needs to plug it into the PC or laptop.

The USB is only one of the uses of a flash drive and currently, the primary uses of the flash drive are for mory cards used in Digital caras.

Dong Xuebing had inford Lenovo to install at least a USB port in all their future PCs. USB ports will be commonly used for USB drives, portable hard disk, mouse, keyboards, speakers, etc.

But now, only a few PCs have a USB port, and Liu Chuanzhi was puzzled why Dong Xuebing gave this instruction. He felt this technology is not mature and there are few uses for it now. Adding USB ports in their PCs will also not be a selling point, and their cost will be increased.

Feng Yu told Liu Chuanzhi about his idea of a USB flash drive, and this flash drive will be invented soon. In the future, Aiwa Electronics and Wind and Rain Electronics will be pushing USB drives and USB ports in PCs will be a necessity.

In Feng Yu’s previous life, USB ports appeared on PCs after 1998, but it was not a standard feature. It was only after 2 years, it becos a stand feature of all PCs, but the port was located at the back of the CPU. It was until after 2005, USB ports were installed at the front of the CPU, and laptops start to have more than 1 USB port.

It was about the sa ti when PS/2 port mouse and PS/2 port keyboards start to beco obsolete. A few more years later, PS/2 port totally disappears and all mouse and keyboards switch to USB ports.

The USB ports also upgrade from 1.0 to 3.0, and the speed kept increasing. USB drive and USB ports were both upgraded over the years.

Heitaro Nakajima did not know about Feng Yu’s plans and got his n to organize and send all the related docunts to Feng Yu.

Heitaro Nakajima was still dreaming about his portable MP3 player, and he even participates in the developnt and testing. This is AIWA’s opportunity to stand on top of the world and he does not want to miss it.

Manager Feng had said if this big MP3 player’s size can be reduced by half, he will use his connections to start a global marketing campaign and let AIWA beco the top electronics manufacturer in the world!

AIWA will be ahead of all its competitors, and Heitaro Nakajima might even be rewarded with shares after the company is listed!

In Feng Yu’s previous life, the market reacted poorly when MP3 and USB drive are newly launched. But within a year, these two products quickly beco popular.

Small companies were no match to the big boys in these two industries, and the technologies involved are not complicated, and others can imitate it easily. Even when the technologies were patented, they can be easily replaced.

But the first company to produce these products will be written in history, and it is beneficial to the company’s reputation.

It is crucial to stay in the lead in the technological sector, and in the future, the company can claim that they were the ones who started this industry, and the other companies were just following the trend!

At night, Feng Yu was having seafood with Heitaro Nakajima when he received a call from Kada Masao. Kada Masao was in Europe to supervise the construction of a new factory and an acquisition of a magazine. But when he heard Feng Yu was in Japan, he imdiately flew back.

Kada Masao rushed over to et Feng Yu the mont he landed.

Heitaro Nakajima and Kada Masao are different, and their companies were in two different sectors. But in terms of personal abilities, Feng Yu felt Kada Masao is better than Heitaro Nakajima.

AIWA could get a share of the Chinese market and the European market, beat Sony, and beco the leader in the Walkman industry, was mainly because of Feng Yu’s help in their new products. Fu Guangzheng’s distribution channels also played a part.

But Kada Masao is different. Feng Yu only gave him a few suggestions, and Kada Masao did the rest. He ca up with new inventions with his creativity and increased the Sixth Sense Company’s sales. He was also the one who set up the sales distribution channels without any help. After the company was listed, the company beco the first company in its industry to be listed.

Oh… This is remarkable!

Kada Masao entered the private dining room and start eating.

Heitaro Nakajima was slightly pissed with Kada Masao. He also could not explain his feelings as both companies are totally different and do not have any dealings with each other. But Heitaro Nakajima felt Manager Feng seems to be closer to Kada Masao and felt unhappy.

Heitaro Nakajima felt Feng Yu was biased towards Kada Masao as he allowed the Sixth Sense Company to be listed, and asked AIWA to wait. Kada Masao was a nobody in the past, and he is on the sa level as him. Maybe in another two years, Kada Masao might be above him!

“Kada Masao, you have never eaten in your life?” Heitaro Nakajima said sarcastically. This person does not have any etiquette at all!

Kada Masao looked at Feng Yu and put down his chopsticks, before turning to Heitaro Nakajima. “Heitaro Nakajima, this is the dinner you prepare for Boss? It’s too ordinary!”

Kada Masao always addresses Feng Yu as Boss, and Heitaro Nakajima calls Feng Yu as Manager Feng. Also, since the day Kada Masao t Feng Yu, he had been bootlicking him, and Heitaro Nakajima had never done this. Maybe this was why Feng Yu felt Kada Masao is more capable.

“This is Tokyo’s best seafood restaurant. What’s the problem?!” Heitaro Nakajima retorted.

“Seafood restaurant? What’s so special about this? Look at how the food is served here!” Kada Masao turns to Feng Yu. “Boss, I know a ‘special’ restaurant that is different from all other restaurants!”

Special restaurant? Feng Yu was curious. What’s better than seafood in Japan? The rest of the food here is nothing special.

Wait! The plates? Kada Masao had a lewd expression on his face. Could it be that legendary way of serving food?

Gulped…

Feng Yu swallowed his saliva. This suggestion is really tempting, and it is good to experience. But Feng Yu will not dare to eat the food presented.

Such places are more suitable for Kirilenko, Fu Guangzheng, and Li Zekai. They would love to experience it.

“Kada, I am going back tomorrow. Why did you rush back so urgently?”

“No. I know Boss is coming to Japan, and I rushed back, as I am afraid so people are not good hosts.” Kada Masao said.

“Thank you. When I bring so friends over on my next visit, you can bring us around.” Feng Yu does not want to see Kada Masao and Heitaro Nakajima fighting for his attention.

“Ok. Oh, I had bought a magazine in Europe, and we plan to set up a branch in the US.”

The magazine bought by the Sixth Sense Company should be that kind of magazine. It seems like there’s no return for Kada Masao’s path to be the King of the Porn industry!

“Rember what I told you. Don’t look at the short-term profits. If you want the company to progress, you must look at the future.”

“Thank you for your wise words.”

Heitaro Nakajima frowned. Kada Masao, you are also one of the shareholders of the Sixth Sense Company. Do you really need to stoop so low? But Heitaro Nakajima suddenly realized that maybe this is the reason why Manager Feng thinks more highly of Kada Masao.

Look at the way Kada Masao bootlicks! He has no backbone at all!

Heitaro Nakajima thought for a while and said with a brownnoser expression. “Boss, if you are interested in those place, I do have so good recomndation.|
