“The first item we will be auctioning today is a diamond-studded ladies bracelet donated by Shen Huihui. This bracelet us her favorite bracelet. The base price is 50,000 HKD, and the minimum bid is 10,000 HKD. Ladies and gentlen, you may start bidding.
Li Zekai was there to show the both of them had gotten over their conflict. He purposely donated this item for auction. But what Fu Guangwei said just now was hinting to the others that Li Zekai will want to win the bid for this bracelet.
“100,000 HKD.” Li Zekai raised his hand.
“110,000 HKD.”
“130,000 HKD.”
“150,000 HKD.”

“200,000 HKD.” After a round of bidding, Li Zekai bid again. The value of the bracelet was not more than 100,000 HKD. Li Zekai beca the final bidder and won back this bracelet for Shen Huihui.
But no one noticed the look in Shen Huihui’s eyes. She was not happy at all. This Li Family’s young master was only willing to spend 200,000 HKD on her?
Other people also start to put up their items for auctions. There were sunglasses, ties, brooch, necklace, rings, etc. These were all personal belongings and were won by the people who donated them.
Fu Guangwei was very excited. These people had bid more than the charity auctions he attended before. The auctions he participated in the past, the highest bid was only 30,000 to 50,000 HKD. But this ti, the lowest bid was 100,000 HKD!

There was ugly calligraphy work that was put up for auction, and the winning bid was 100,000 HKD. If that calligraphy were put up for sale outside, no one would buy it even if it was selling for 5 HKD!
“The next item is a scarf donated by my sister, Fu ngying. The base price is 10,000 HKD. Every bid is at least 5,000 HKD.”
Fu ngying imdiately raised her hand: “20,000 HKD.”
“50,000 HKD.”
“100,000 HKD.”
“180,000 HKD.”
“250,000 HKD.”

Feng Yu suddenly realized that sothing was off. Why were there so many people bidding for this scarf? The previous few items only had about 3 to 5 bids. This scarf was not worth more than 10,000 HKD, and now the current amount was 320,000 HKD!
Usually, the n there bid for items to please their partners. But no one would raise the bids so high.
This round of auction was also different from the previous items. All the ones who bid were won. Why were those won fighting over that scarf? Don’t they know that Fu ngying wanted to win back her scarf? They did this on purpose?
Fu ngying was so unpopular among the ladies? But those won should at least give the Fu Family face. Were the ladies from the top families in Hong Kong all so unreasonable?
Fu ngying also did not expect this to happen. She had only donated a scarf. Although Feng Yu had increased the benchmark for donations, she thought the scarf would reach 100,000 HKD at most.
The current amount for this scarf was more than 300,000 HKD. She does not have enough money to bid. If she did not win back her scarf, then the Fu Family and she will lose face. But she does not have enough money. Fu Guangwei also does not have so much money.
Fu ngying pulled Feng Yu’s sleeves lightly. Feng Yu turned and looked at her: “What’s wrong?”

“400,000 HKD.” Feng Yu raised his hand and shouted.
“450,000 HKD!” A woman imdiately shouted.
Feng Yu turned towards the voice and saw a woman with an arrogant look. Who was she? What’s her surna? Feng Yu could not recall offending this person. He looked at Fu ngying, and she was also looking puzzled. She also did not offend the Young Lady of the Huo Family.
Feng Yu did not know that this arises because he rejected the invitations of those won to dance. Those won, especially that Huo Family’s young lady, felt insulted. This was her first ti inviting a man for a dance and was rejected!

As the Huo family’s young lady did not carry on bidding for the scarf, Feng Yu won the auction for 460,000 HKD for the scarf which was worth only a few thousand HKD. The crowd applauded. Feng Yu was the highest bidder in the auction!
The auction continued. Soon it was the lady from the Huo Family’s turn. She had donated her necklace, and the base price was 80,000 HKD. Fu ngying imdiately shouted 300,000 HKD and turned to look at that lady. She was returning her the favor.
Feng Yu looked at Fu ngying surprised. Didn’t you say you do not have enough money? Are you expecting to pay for you?
That lady from the Huo Family saw the look in Fu ngying’s eyes and her face changed color. This necklace was given to her by her mother, and it ant a lot to her. She does not want soone else to win the necklace.
Fu ngying continued to raise the bid to 500,000 HKD before she stopped. The Huo family’s lady was furious and kept stomping her foot. But her brother told her that she was the one who started this and doesn’t expect him to give her money this month. She got no choice but to accept the fact that she was donating the most for this auction.
Feng Yu thought this was over, but Fu ngying continued to raise the bids of several other items. Those items were from the ones who purposely bid for her scarf.
Fu ngying was taking revenge. But those won had to win back their items. If Fu ngying won their handkerchief and use it to wipe her heels, before throwing it away, they would lose face. It will be a disgrace to their family.
Feng Yu realized that Fu ngying was a revengeful person. Fu Guangwei had hinted to Fu ngying several tis to stop. He was the organizer of this charity ball, and he does not want his sister to screw things up. But Fu ngying pretended not to see him. She was unwilling to be bullied. She was still upset about spending over 300,000 HKD. However, she was unaware that Feng Yu had no intention of asking her to return the money.
Until the auction ends, Feng Yu did not make any more bids. Fu Guangwei was overjoyed. The donation from this charity ball, excluding Feng Yu’s 1 million USD, had reached more than 10 million HKD. This charity ball was a success!
But the thing that made Fu Guangwei happiest was Feng Yu had spent more than 400,000 HKD to help his sister win her scarf back. It seems that Feng Yu was interested in his sister. If both really beca a couple, it will be great!
