Chapter 1062 – High Compensation
Aiwa and the Recording Industry Association of Arica’s first court appearance had ended. Both sides had produced evidence backing up their case, and the jury cannot decide on the judgnt.
In the end, the judge ordered a defernt and a second session.
When Heitaro Nakajima walks out of the court, he was surrounded by the reporters arranged by Kada Masao.
“Mr. Heitaro Nakajima, do you all admit that you all had infringed the intellectual property rights of those songs?”
“Mr. Heitaro Nakajima, what do you have to say about this lawsuit?”
“Mr. Heitaro Nakajima, I heard that you did not say much during the trial. Is it that you had admitted to the charges?”

The reporters jostled for space and pushed their microphones in Heitaro Nakajima’s face. Heitaro Nakajima stood on the steps and smiled to those reporters. The next day, all major newspapers and so TV stations in the US reported about this lawsuit. On the internet, news about this lawsuit spread faster.
Usually, such cases will not spread so fast, as many lawsuits are ongoing every day.
This had sothing to do with Kada Masao. Kada Masao had arranged for people to spread about this lawsuit.
In the West, the jury will vote and decide on the outco of the lawsuits. They felt the jury mbers were randomly selected from different walks of life, and it will be fair to both parties.
But the jury mbers were often influenced by the dia, and this system is not really fair.
The wealthy will have an advantage over the poor, as the wealthy can hire a team of lawyers, while the poor might not even afford a lawyer. With money, one can make use of the dia and people to influence the jury.
Even if the rich lose the lawsuit, he can afford to appeal against the judgnt.
Now, both parties had gone to the dia to influence the jury. The Recording Industry Association of Arica is demanding compensation. They want 20 USD for every MP3 player sold to compensate for their losses.
This is daylight robbery!

Aiwa’s legal team insists Aiwa is innocent and wants to sue the Recording Industry Association of Arica for slander. Feng Yu told Heitaro Nakajima to get his lawyers to think of reasons to demand 1 billion USD compensation from the Recording Industry Association of Arica. This is to blow up this lawsuit and make sure everyone knows about this.

In the next court session, Aiwa will defeat the Recording Industry Association of Arica, and also drag Sony, who is going to imitate them, into the picture!
