"Spirit Art, Inferno Technique, Sequence #1: Eternal Conflagration!"

Primordial fire erupted throughout the chamber—not flas that could be extinguished or adapted to, but the fundantal concept of combustion made inescapable reality. Everything within the Technique’s radius began burning with fire that would continue regardless of circumstances or resistance.

The three Tier 6 Dwellers ignited simultaneously.

How could they not?

This was a genuine Sequence 1 Technique.

Their Chaos nature provided initial resistance, but Sequence #1 Techniques operated on conceptual rather than physical levels. This wasn’t heat that could be nullified or entropy that could be reversed—this was the definition of burning imposed on reality itself.

But they weren’t finished.

Even while their forms consud themselves in eternal flas, the three Dwellers coordinated one final assault. Their intelligence—their single greatest advantage—allowed them to recognize when conventional combat had failed, and desperate asures beca necessary.

"Chaos Art, Paradox Technique, Sequence #6: Dual Truth!" emanated from all three simultaneously.

The chamber’s reality fractured as mutually exclusive facts beca simultaneously true.

The Eternal Conflagration was burning the Dwellers while also not affecting them. Rey was standing in the chamber while also not being present.

The battle was concluded while also continuing infinitely.

Paradox Technique created logical impossibilities that reality struggled to resolve, buying the Dwellers precious monts to attempt recovery or escape.

But Rey had encountered reality manipulation before, and he possessed the perfect counter.

It was yet another trump card—one they could not go against.

"Chaos Art, Corruption Technique, Sequence #1: Law Perversion!"

The fundantal laws governing the Paradox Technique twisted into malicious parodies of themselves. Instead of creating stable impossible states, the Technique began generating infinite contradictory paradoxes that tore reality apart rather than rely bending it.

The chamber descended into chaos as competing impossibilities multiplied beyond control. But while the three Tier 6 Dwellers were trapped in the paradox they’d created, Rey had deliberately positioned himself outside its radius before activating Law Perversion.

He watched as the Dwellers’ forms destabilized under the weight of infinite contradiction. The Eternal Conflagration continued burning through all states simultaneously. The corrupted paradoxes prevented any coherent adaptation or recovery.

Within minutes, all three Tier 6 Chaos Dwellers collapsed.

Their forms dissolved into dispersing Chaos Energy, their intelligence and sophisticated capabilities ultimately insufficient against an opponent who matched their Technique mastery while possessing superior strategic planning.

Rey stood in the devastated chamber, breathing heavily from the exertion of deploying multiple High Sequence Techniques in rapid succession.

His Ether reserves had dropped to approximately forty percent—concerning but not critical.

The wounds across his body were healing now that the Absolute Reversal had transford corruption into purification. His enhanced capabilities had returned to normal levels.

Even the degraded Artifacts were slowly recovering as reality stabilized.

’That was close,’ Rey admitted silently. ’If I’d underestimated them, if I’d hesitated even slightly in committing to the Absolute Reversal gambit—they would have won through accumulated advantages.’

But he hadn’t hesitated.

He’d assessed, adapted, and deployed exactly the right techniques at precisely the right monts.

And now three Tier 6 Chaos Dwellers lay defeated, their forms dissolving into harmless Chaos Energy.

Rey considered using Hollow Technique to resurrect them as undead additions to his army. Intelligent Tier 6 specins would be valuable assets.

But sothing stopped him.

These Dwellers had demonstrated capabilities far beyond what their natural classification should allow. They’d used sophisticated Techniques from both Null Art and Chaos Art, coordinated with tactical precision, adapted to threats with genuine strategic thinking.

Sothing had enhanced them—commanded them.

And Rey strongly suspected he knew what.

The Prince of Darkness.

A Tier 5 Chaos Dweller ruling the Labyrinth’s depths wouldn’t be mindless.

If these Tier 6 guardians possessed intelligence, their master would be infinitely more formidable.

’If I use Hollow Technique, it would link to them as their Master, but if they are linked to soone else, it could give them access to . I have no idea how strong this Prince of Darkness is, but I can’t give him access to through that Technique.’

Thus, Rey decided not to get greedy.

Instead, he looked toward the passage the three Dwellers had been guarding, his enhanced perception detecting faint mystical signatures deeper within.

Whatever they’d been protecting, it had been important enough to station intelligent guards.

Rey began moving toward the guarded passage, his curiosity overcoming caution.

The chamber opened into what might have been a throne room or command center in the ancient civilization. Elaborate architecture surrounded a central dais, and upon that dais rested a single Artifact.

Rey approached cautiously, scanning for traps or defensive chanisms.

But the chamber was dormant, its protections either depleted or disabled by millennia of exposure to Chaos Energy.

The Artifact was magnificent.

A suit of armor, or perhaps sothing that would beco armor when activated. Currently, it appeared as a collection of dark tallic segnts arranged in patterns that suggested they could reconfigure to fit any wearer.

The tal—if it was tal—absorbed light rather than reflecting it, creating an absence in Rey’s vision that was sohow more striking than any brilliant display would have been.

Divine Grade, without question.

’What is such a thing doing here?!’ Rey gasped silently. The mystical signature radiating from this object confird classification at the absolute peak of craftable items.

Rey examined it thoroughly, his enhanced perception analyzing its structure and function.

The armor appeared to be intact despite its age, the sa Chaos Energy that corrupted everything else in the Labyrinth having preserved rather than destroyed this particular creation.

Carefully, reverently, Rey activated the Artifact.

The dark segnts flowed across his body like liquid tal, configuring themselves to his fra with perfect precision. Within seconds, he was completely encased in armor that felt simultaneously weightless and impenetrable.

And the power...

Rey felt his physical capabilities surge as the armor’s enchantnts integrated with his enhanced body. Strength multiplied several tis over. Speed increased to levels that would have seed supernatural even by mystical standards. Durability approaching invulnerability against anything short of Divine-tier attacks.

But most impressively, the armor provided absolute protection from environntal interference.

The Chaos Energy that saturated the Labyrinth, the distortions that disrupted normal Techniques, the hostile ambient effects—all of it was filtered and neutralized by the armor’s defensive properties.

Rey could operate at full capability regardless of environntal conditions.

He also had great resistance against the effects of the Ancient MajiK of other foes.

He tested the armor’s responsiveness, moving through combat forms that demonstrated its enhancent of his physical abilities.

Every movent was faster, stronger, more precise than should have been possible.

A smile crossed Rey’s face—the first genuine expression of satisfaction he’d felt since the nightmare.

’With this...’ he thought, flexing hands that could now probably shatter stone with casual force. ’With this armor, with my army of ten thousand undead, with the Techniques I’ve mastered...’

He looked toward the passages that led even deeper into the Labyrinth, toward where his enhanced perception detected a mystical signature far more powerful than anything he’d encountered so far.

The Prince of Darkness.

A Tier 5 Chaos Dweller that had destroyed an ancient civilization and ruled the Labyrinth’s depths for millennia. A creature that even the Nephilim—survivors who’d thrived in this hostile environnt for a thousand years—feared to confront.

Rey had been preparing to face it eventually, building strength and resources until victory seed possible rather than suicidal.

But now...

’Do I actually stand a chance?’ Rey wondered, the thought carrying excitent rather than fear.

’Could I win?’
